had to get switched from 2 rooms, kept having trouble with the key, no cable, fridge wasn’t working the toilet didn’t flush, overall just not a good experience, staff were nice and understanding but definitely not worth a stay

Opened my room to find a host of issues. Fixtures removed from ceiling . Smoke detector pulled off wall. Wires sticking out of wall. Toilet seat was worn down and had burns on it. Toilet wasnt even clean when i came in. Still had someones pubic hairs on the seat. No towels in the room. Overall highly disappointed in my experience. Only positives were the people hanging around outside the building quit arguing by eleven, noone stole my car, and surprisingly didnt end up eaten by bugs.

The room had only two working lights. There were no towels or washcloths in the room. There were holes in the wall where it looked like something had been torn off of it. It was by far the worst motel room I have ever seen.

When I arrived I was given a room in a dark building with all exterior lights not working with fixtures missing and wires exposed. When I went in the lights did not work. When I got a different room the lights did not work and the room looked like it was occupied.

Moldy can a chicken stew in refrigerator. Trash everywhere. Food trash everywhere. I had to clean out the refrigerator myself. Light and fan in bathroom did not work. Ceiling water damage. Icemaker was a pile of trash. I recommend that you take this hotel off your list of available hotels. it does not deserve the name Rodeway Inn.

We couldn’t stay because the hotel is abandoned, scary place, no light 💡 on room. The stairs all dirty, the room wasn’t done. Looks like other people sleep before and no bedding change. The place should be closed and not be promoted in the Hotel.com pages.

I booked the room for one night but got in at around 12am to attend my sons graduation sadly the room smelled horrible and i had to sleep with my face covered but only could get a couple of hours due to the condition and smell there was no shower curtain and no access to use microwave due to no plug that would fit there was duck tape on the air conditioner and other areas around the room and no towels i requested a refund after showing the front desk attendent what condition it was in after contacting Expedia but was told if i didn't leave the manger would not give me a refund i checked in around 12 am and checked out around 7am and i was there from out of town i didn't know anything about the area but it was sadly not safe for me not knowing where i was i sadly never heard back from the manger i hope they renovate and make the necessary changes 😢

This was the most horrible place I could have ever tried to stay at,I'm pretty sure I still got billed for the stay but I wouldn't have stayed there if they payed me, someone elses chicken still in the mini fridge that didn't work bar of soap in the tub from last person who stayed, two pillows but only one in a pillow case and the other with a cigarette bun in it..,.I instantly got bedbug vibes and left.....

Floor had nit been swept. Dead bugs, coins, and pieces of paper as well as dirt on floor. Pillowcases were filthy. It looked as if someone had layed across bed. Walls were cracked and plastered in disrepair. There was a nast odour in the room. We could not stay at that hotel.

Upon entering the room, you could smell an unpleasant smell.... Almost like mildew. The king size bed looked like it had been layed on. There was no trashcan at all in the room. The bathroom with the toilet & shower was covered in a condensation & the shower & floor were so slippery I almost fell. Got ready to shower & not a single towel in the room.

It was very noisy, like there was a domestic dispute going on all night. There was no towels in our room. There were stains on the sheets and pillows. We were afraid to sleep most of the night. We were reserved for 2 nights but we left and didnt even try to get a refund for our second night. Do NOT stay here. There is an insane amount of homeless/prostitution going on in this area.
It was very noisy, like there was a domestic dispute going on all night. There was no towels in our room. There were stains on the sheets and pillows. We were afraid to sleep most of the night. We were reserved for 2 nights but we left and didnt even try to get a refund for our second night. Do NOT stay here. There is an insane amount of homeless/prostitution going on in this area.

The room didn’t look like the photo on the website. The website showed a clean and pleasant room. The one we got was drab and dirty. We requested a non-smoking room and we were told this facility does not have non-smoking rooms. There were dozens of cockroaches in the bathroom going in and out of cracks in the bathtub enclosure. There were shady looking people just hanging around the place, which creeped us out. This was an awful experience and non of the pictures on Expedia were accurate and we felt incredibly unsafe, there was fight going on next door that we could easily hear, the rooms were disgusting and rundown, the window cover wasnt good enough to cover the whole window. Several people were surrounding our car right after we got in our room. We felt incredibly unsafe and left within 30 minutes of getting there and when we requested a refund neither the motel or Expedia would reimburse us for the fact that the website blatantly had false information. Do not go here and don't use Expedia.

The last two times I’ve stayed at the Roadway it has been shockingly disgusting. The TV doesn’t work and the sheets had sex stains on them. It’s smelled like a dog in the room and th air conditioning didn’t work

The rooms pictured are very misleading, upon arrival we checked in and went to our room which hadn’t been cleaned at all. People partying out side. Thankfully the guy at the counter was nice and gave me a refund. And we went to the Hilton.

I didn't get to take a shower for 3 days because all their rooms they kept putting me in was out of order. Then an employee took my blanket to wash and never brought it back. 5 hours later he Knocking on my door asking for money and I said something about the blanket and suddenly he wants to fight. This location was absolutely terrible. Room did not have any pillows, towels. Drains were clogged, cockroaches, and no TV remote. However, the owner jumped into his Tesla. Guess we know where his priorities lie.

The rooms pictured are very misleading, upon arrival we checked in and went to our room which hadn’t been cleaned at all. People partying out side. Thankfully the guy at the counter was nice and gave me a refund. And we went to the Hilton.

The front desk worker was fine, no complaints there. As soon as I parked, I was approached by 2 different ppl to buy stolen goods.The room was in horrible, filthy condition. The bed only had a sheet on it and the bed wasn't even made. The floor was dirty and the restroom, really the entire room, smelled so bad. I wanted to gag and I have a pretty tough stomach. Enter at your own risk.

This was an awful experience and non of the pictures on Expedia were accurate and we felt incredibly unsafe, there was fight going on next door that we could easily hear, the rooms were disgusting and rundown, the window cover wasnt good enough to cover the whole window. Several people were surrounding our car right after we got in our room. We felt incredibly unsafe and left within 30 minutes of getting there and when we requested a refund neither the motel or Expedia would reimburse us for the fact that the website blatantly had false information. Do not go here and don't use Expedia.

It was so disgusting and ran down, there was girls who definitely looked like prostitutes walking around, the walls were cracked and dirty, the blanket was covered in burn holes, I was scared to touch anything because it was so disgusting. I immediately left to find a new place to stay.

It was very noisy, like there was a domestic dispute going on all night. There was no towels in our room. There were stains on the sheets and pillows. We were afraid to sleep most of the night. We were reserved for 2 nights but we left and didnt even try to get a refund for our second night. Do NOT stay here. There is an insane amount of homeless/prostitution going on in this area.

The room didn’t look like the photo on the website. The website showed a clean and pleasant room. The one we got was drab and dirty. We requested a non-smoking room and we were told this facility does not have non-smoking rooms. There were dozens of cockroaches in the bathroom going in and out of cracks in the bathtub enclosure. We didn’t have towels to begin with and had to ask for them. There was a couple that was two doors down yell at each other. There were shady looking people just hanging around the place, which creeped us out. With all these things, we decided not to stay there, which was an option we had been given when we asked about the non-smoking room.

We couldn’t stay because the hotel is abandoned, scary place, no light 💡 on room. The stairs all dirty, the room wasn’t done. Looks like other people sleep before and no bedding change. The place should be closed and not be promoted in the Hotel.com pages.

Sadly this is not a place to stay. The person at the front desk was nice and did give me a refund. The reviews you read are probably correct, didn’t believe it until I actually showed up. Don’t make the same mistake. The rooms are poorly cleaned or not cleaned. Roaches ✔️ stain on the sheets ✔️ holes in the walls, cracks up the walls to the ceiling ✔️ the floors were sticky. I opened the mini fridge and I see drinks spilled over and sitting in there for some time, It was leaking out and was all over the floor… added the fridge was not even on. There is mold spots on the light shade 🤦🏽♀️ and I can go on but I won’t. So overall just pick some place else.
