I SEE THAT THEY RENOVATED THE FACILITIES. IT'S BEEN ABOUT 2 YEARS SINCE I STAYED THERE. ONE THING THAT I WOULD LIKE TO SAY-BEFORE THERE WERE MICROWAVE OVENS IN THE ROOMS-PRIOR TO THE REMODEL. WENT TO THE FRONT DESK, AS THAT'S NO LONGER THE CASE. I KINDA MISS THE MICROWAVE OVEN.

Great access to food, shopping and the 405, 73 and 55 freeways. I stayed with my dogs several times and it is a very dog friendly Motel 6 and the patrons with dogs are very good at cleaning up after their dogs and keeping them quiet.

Booked the room specifically because it had a pool, however pool was not open. The rooms were dirty (floors and surfaces visibly had stuff all over them), there were so many random people banging on doors and yelling at people all hours of the night. One of our rooms had no mirror and seemed like the bathroom was unfinished and should not have been in service. There were areas that you coukd tell had been damaged, however random pieces of wood were just screwed into the wall. Overall, it would have been okay if we were not offered a pool to be told it was not accessible, and the floors/surfaces had been cleaned. If there are room that dont have mirrors in the bathrooms, that should have also been disclosed

My room was clean and comfortable. I had a refrigerator in my room but I would have liked a microwave too. The only noise was from Costa Mesa Police Department. They were arresting a woman in the room next door to me...don't know what that was about. I will stay at this Motel 6 in the future.

The first room I was given was not clean. When I went to the office, the gentlemen took great care of me and gave me a great room. I was very thankful. The room had a new bed which was great because I was in town to run a marathon. I could also see my car fro the room which I loved. The parking lot was very, very well lit which was amazing sice I had to get up early and leave while it was light for my race. I will stay there again in the future!

Newly-remodeled budget motel in convenient location by freeways and lots of shopping & dining options. Room was clean, bright, and nicely furnished. Air conditioning unit & TV worked well, and there were multiple outlets and some USB ports available. Mostly minor drawbacks: no elevator, no luggage rack, no clothes hook in bathroom, no shower grab bar for safety, no clock, no Kleenex. Would stay here again if I want a no-frills, affordable stay in Orange County.

Dissatisfied with this motel 6. There are no microwaves in rooms and no microwave in lobby ( There is one in staff room , but you’re not allowed to use it ). There is no breakfast. There are no coffee makers in rooms and coffee is only available in AM. The pool has become a zoo, ducks swimming in it and a stray cat wandering around pool area. I would not swim in this pool ( not as pictured online ). I would not recommend this motel 6.

This motel was disgusting. My room definitely was not properly cleaned beforehand. Hairs in the sink and on the ground, sticky surfaces, beverage spilled on the desk. The other guests were also LOUD and the walls very thin. The whole second floor rattled all night from guests slamming their doors.

This property was an Absolutely disgusting property in all areas and infested with roaches and nasty blood marks were found in BOTH of my rooms after requesting a room change. I had to be moved to 3 separate rooms. Then when im walking down the stairs some random homeless guy asks me where to find weed at. This is a Disrespectful, disgraceful, disgusting property and if you have any standards - follow my review and steer clear of this property by all means. Oh and the virtual check in was so unprofessional and annoying, they laughed at me for coming back for a problem their clients company needs to fix.That third party company is not an addition to the hotel it actually makes it feel cheaper and like management is cutting corners to avoid having an employee there for safety and concerns throughout the night.

Stayed one night out of 3 nights. Went somewhere else after that. Because there was blood on a towel and makeup on the bed Sheet and cockroaches. They only refund me one night when i didn't even stayed for the last 2 nights.

The Wi Fi reception was only average at the front of the hotel. At the back where I was, it was slow and cut out a lot. The back alley where my car and room were had "sketchy " people sitting on the stairs and walking in the alley, making noise- did not appears to be guests. TV choices were terrible. It was in a convenient location- Close to freeway, shopping and dining.

Hotel is close to many dining options and shopping. Staff is friendly. Room is clean and basic. Only problem is lack of sound proofing so that I can hear all the bedsprings grinding from the amorous couple in the room above mine and all the love conversation and expression from the (newlyweds?) couple in the room next to mine throughout the night.

The hotel staff were excellent, but the beds in the room were the worst I’ve ever experienced, totally worn out, lumpy, dipping in various places, just horrible. Fortunately, they moved us to another room where the beds were better but not great.

Our room was newly updated and clean, the front desk staff was friendly.This is a great location, freeway close, lots of places to eat and shop. The only downside was there was not a refrigerator in room . The pool, while we did not go in, looked clean and inviting.

Room had no mirror, nowhere to put your suitcase and clothes, no towel rack or hooks, broken toilet paper holder, one mattress needed replacement (could feel coils), slightly dirty and very musty smell!!! Terrible room. Not worth the cost. Shady people around hotel.

The place is dirty and sketchy, but the reason we would NEVER stay again is the horrific service. No one is in the lobby, it is locked, and there is no sign or call button. If you need anything, you will need to wait indefinitely. When I tried to locate the management, I was accused of harassment and they tried to kick us out of the hotel, with 2 children, at night. I called the police and they spoke to the management to allow us to stay. But absolutely never again. Worst hotel I've ever stayed at.

The man at the front desk was exceptional with us. We checked into a room and it smelled a lot like smoke. He quickly put us into a different room. The room itself was beautiful. Recently remodeled, I almost forgot I was at a motel 6. Great place, would stay again for sure. Also a very great location. Restaurants/gas stations within walking distance. 15 min drive from Newport Beach.

There was no staff physically and the one that was there spoke to me in a rude manner telling me i needed to deal with the virtual person. He also reported he was off the clock and that he was not there nor did he see me. It was hard to understand the person virtually, hard to to check in. One of the beds had hairs all over and dirt stains.

THE MANAGER WAS RUDE AND DISGUSTING...OFFENDED ME, THEN GOT MAD WHEN I REACTED, CANCELLED MY Non refundable RESERVATION, DENIED MY REFUND TO EXPEDIA WHEN ASKED THE FIRST TIME, THEN THREATENED TO CALL THE COPS..ALL BECAUSE I WENT TO THE NIGHT WINDOW AT 7:30PM AND ASKED HIM TO PLEASE HURRY BECAUSE I HAD TO PEE SOOOOO BAD.. Excellent staff; very accommodating and flexible with check in and check out. Everyone there is Super polite and welcoming. The rooms and beds are excellent for motel 6 standards. Parking is easy and the area is full of nearby stores and shops. Right off the freeway.
