Everything was very good, except the daily parking fee. I was charged $18.00 a day and I feel that I was not informed of that ahead of time. I reserved through Hotels.com and am still trying to address the sort of deceptive way they baited me with a price of taxes and fees, yet I was still billed for parking directly from the hotel when I got to the hotel. In addition, the parking is uncovered, and there are signs to park at your own risk. Soooo, I paid $18.00 a day extra for uncovered, risky parking....The hotel, staff, food, environment, room was great though.

Check in was smooth and quick. Lobby is beautifully renovated. Would like to see more luggage carts though. Hotel website implies there is a spa at hotel, but there is NO SPA or MASSAGE service available. Website needs to be updated with correct information. All areas of hotel were clean and staff was friendly and helpful.

I definitely did not like the parking. For $16/day, I should have been able to park in a covered garage & not have to walk thru an unattended parking lot to enter the hotel. Other than the parking, the hotel is very nice.

We always love staying at all the Embassy Suites. They have a great breakfast buffet with an omelet station & evening snacks with drinks. We enjoyed the pool with our stay. The only thing my husband loves a hot tub & they didn’t have a hot tub. The hotel was so clean.

Indoor pool was excellent

A few issues: 1) the word “spa” was in the name of the hotel, so my party brought appropriate clothing and planned attending the spa during their stay, just to be told that there is no spa and hasn’t been for quite some time. This needs to be changed in the name, so others are not equally disappointed. 2) Also, my room temperature was freezing cold and the wall thermostat could not be regulated. Wound up having to turn the HVAC completely to warm the room because I cannot get to sleep in a cold room. 3) The included breakfast buffet did not open until 7:30am, and that was also the time that I needed to be at door-opening at the Von Braun arena for the event that I came to Huntsville to attend. My roommate was able to attend breakfast but I was not, having to get to the arena to hold seats for my party. Why this is a problem is because every hotel that I have booked starts their breakfast buffet at 6:00 or 6:30am. If the Embassy Suites breakfast started earlier, I would have been able to use my benefit and make it to the arena on time as well. I feel that I did not get what I paid for, and should be compensated for my inconvenience and disappointment.

This is a beautiful property right next to the Von Braun Center and across the street from Big Spring Park. The park is an excellent place to walk, relax and enjoy some nature in the center of the city. Many shops, restaurants and bars are available within a 10-15 minute walk (or 2-5 minutes in some cases). The hotel restaurant is excellent. They have a late afternoon social in the atrium with coupons for complementary drinks. Rooms are spacious and well-appointed. Parking is convenient albeit a bit pricy.

Check in and check out was a breeze. Darrius, the front desk gentleman checked on us throughout our stay which was great. The rooms are spacious and clean, perfect for a family of four. The breakfast was great, as well as the evening reception which included free drinks and snacks.The pool area was nice and clean also..The hotel was close to restaurants and shopping. We would definitely stay here again. I am very picky with my accommodations, so I was very pleased and would recommend.

My stay was very nice. Bathroom could have been cleaner. The floor around the toilet needed cleaning. The shampoo bottles that are permanently posted in the shower needed cleaning. One of the beds had a dent but I didnt complain because my daughter loved it Lol. The breakfast was tge best ive ever had. They had everything you could think of for breakfast and it was all free!!! Besides a few cleaning hiccups I would definitely book again. Very nice hotel overall.

Everything was comfortable until I noticed a roach in the bathroom! There was a lot of black mold around the tub and the tile! I was unable to get a picture of the roach due to the fact that it disappeared with the ligh coming on in the bathroom

The floors in the room where wet, at if there was a flood. There was blood stops on the sheets

The room was not properly cleaned, there were gummy bears on the floor and trash in 2 of the 3 garbages. The rugs were badly stained and were old. The amount of money that i spent didn't match the accommodations.

The hotel has access to the arena next door and it’s all inside, which was perfect for our needs going to the hockey game that night. We only stayed 1 night. The room was HUGE however it was disgusting; stains on carpet and furniture, hair all over the bathroom, crumbs/trash all over the room. It’s almost like the room was not cleaned before our arrival. We’ve stayed at several Embassy Suites and this one has an awesome location, however the room was filthy. The lobby was recently renovated, just need to work on the rooms now

Horribly dated and tired. Nasty carpet, mold, and generally not up to standards for embassy suites.

The most disgusting Embassy Suites I have ever seen. Mold in shower, stains and bubbles in carpet, dust piled up in corners. Disgusting. Do not stay here.

The carpet in our hotel room was disgusting and needs to be replaced. It made the entire stay less than good. The pool was nice, I will say that.

Our stay was fantastic. Friendly staff. Very nice rooms. Very clean. Great beds.

Staff was very nice. Lobby is beautiful. Suites are PAST DUE for RENOVATION. From carpet to walls to furnishings and most definitely the mattresses, it all needs to be replaced. Even carpets in hallways need changing. The convenience of walking to convention center is wonderful and the reason to pick this hotel, because the rooms DO NOT live up to the lobby or the price point of this hotel.

The rooms were a little outdated, but they were huge.

The room was comfortable and spacious. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was probably the best I’ve had in a hotel. Great stay and will return.

The toilet did not work. The hot water in the shower was gone after less than five minutes. The TV did not work properly. The coffee maker did not work. All in all, a very suboptimal experience !!!

I really loved the rooms. Every detail was wonderful from the nice hooks in the bathroom for your towels, the cool night light that is part of the electrical outlet to the comfortable bed and pillows. The room was spacious and quiet.

Love the Embassy Suites. Rooms are so large we had 4 people sleep comfortably and no one had to share a bed. Issues were lack of carts for the bags and had to ask for sheets for the sleeper sofa again. Also, the door has started to sag and doesn't close anymore without being shoved.

Amazing location and property. Great perks for being a Hilton member. Only complaint was the room wouldn’t get very cold.

The staff were wonderful, and it was SO convenient that we could walk to the Von Braun Center without going outside in cold weather. The room was clean, spacious, and well-decorated, but the walls were quite thin. A family with small children could be heard next door so well that we could almost make out the exact words being spoken. Noise from the echo-prone lobby was also occasionally an issue. I recommend bringing a fan or noise machine if you're a light sleeper. Also the bed pillows were not supportive at all and could stand to be replaced. It was nice to have a restaurant and bar on site, but the prices that were charged were too high for what we received. Overall, we were comfortable in the room and enjoyed the amenities the hotel offers but were a bit bothered by the noise and high priced food/drink.

I wish the walls in the living area had better soundproofing. Our neighbors were very loudly arguing and we heard every word. including the cursing.

Everything about the hotel was fine. Staff were super nice and helpful. I stayed in a suite comprised of a sleeping area and a sitting area separated by a bathroom and hallway/ sink area. The bed was clean and very comfortable. All other aspects of the sleeping area were fine. The couch was clean but horribly uncomfortable. This made the sitting area useless for a solo traveler. There was a table in the sitting area that would have been nice if needed for business. It did well for eating. If the couch had been serviceable, the sitting area would have been a great place to relax. The bathroom was clean and serviceable. There was nothing remarkable about it. Everything worked fine. The hotel restaurant was ok. The food was ok. Staff were very pleasant. Prices were high. Now for the breakfast. This really missed the mark. It was obvious that great effort was made to be fancy. The plates, glasses and silverware were nice. Eggs could be made to order for those that didn’t mind waiting in line. And there was a self serve breakfast bar, which had scrambled eggs, bacon, oatmeal/grits, fresh fruit, and the like. There was almost no grab-and-go type prepackaged food. The food that was available was ok at best. Overall, the suite was fine. A reasonable couch would be a great upgrade. In hotel dining is fine for socializing, otherwise expect to dine elsewhere. Staff were more polite and friendly than any other place I’ve stayed.

I was not provided a room, even though I had my confirmation through Expedia, and was sent away in the freezing rain to a hotel over 15 minutes away. I was traveling alone with my daughter and had chosen this hotel so that we would be safe and not driving in a different city alone late at night, but that is what we ended up having to do l because they did not honor our reservation.

The best hotel I've ever stayed at. Friendly staff, clean and spacious rooms, and the complimentary breakfast was delicious. I missed happy hour (they give you two free drinks) because I was at a graduation, but the bar and restaurant looked very nice. The next time I book something, I'm going to aim for Embassy Suites by Hilton. I know that all of their properties aren't the same, but I'm taking the chance. I highly recommend staying here!

Waited 45 minutes to check in and asked for a late checkout and was refused

This is my preferred hotel if choice anytime I stay in Huntsville due to the sky bridge to Von Braun Center. I've stayed here multiole times, and never had a problem. However, this trip was anything but enjoyable. To start there was renovations going on directly above my room, and there was no warning this would be the case. Therefore from the time I checked in until I left that night, all I heard directly above my room was the absolute loudest construction I havr ever heard. Fast forward to my check out (luckily it was a one day stay) Check out time is 11 AM, I headed down to the lobby at 9 AM. I waited for 10 minutes and found no one at the desk. I decided to grab a bite from the brewkfast while I waited. In that 30 minute window, no one ever came. I bypassed checking out and left. I've done this before and never had an issue. The next night I get a text message asking what form of check out I'd prefer, to which I reply that I do not have a room there for this night, and it was for the night before. I got no reply, so I assumed it was just a mistake and forgot about it...until I woke up the next day with a charge for a secondary night that I wasn't even there. So now not only was it the most unenjoyable stay I've ever had in any of my stays.....I now get to spend days disputing the secondary charge with my credit card company as well.

The property itself and the room was absolutely perfect, it was the check in process that was unpleasant. My wife and I needed to check into the hotel early because we had an event at 4 and that’s when the check in time was, so I called twice in the morning to which I got no answer, and even tried to contact customer service on the website which was no help whatsoever. Got to the hotel at 2:30 and was told by the manager that no rooms were available and they would get with house cleaning. My wife goes back in about 15 minutes to check on the status and see if there’s anything else we can do, to which the front desk associate was rude the entire interaction. She asked to speak to the manager which ended up getting us a room and gave us free drink passes. I’m very thankful for the manager letting us check in early and being accommodating but the rudeness of the front desk associate from check in and check out just left a bad taste in my mouth.

Check in was supposed to be at 3pm. We got there around 130; the room was not ready but we did start the check-in process. The lady at the front was rude and annoyed that we "showed up" early. We did not get a room until 5:30pm - 2.5 hours late. They were still cleaning rooms at 9pm and people were still waiting. The Co Op: bar/restaurant on site... was incredibly slow. The staff was friendly but they were severely understaffed - all working doubles and coming back in the morning to do the same - not to mention how exhausted they looked. The other issue with this hotel... there was birds flying through the lobby area and dining room. Not just one or two but multiple. There are no skylights that open; just birds getting in from what I assume to be the front door. Flying... all over the dining room; hanging out on tables and eating crums off the floor.

The lady at checkout was awesome. Went above and beyond for us. Great personality

It was clean and within walking distance of the park and restaurant.

Since I was traveling to support friends graduating, discovering that the hotel was connected to the Von Braun Center so that was mighty convenient for me and my pals

Breakfast men is unmatched!!! There was a wide variety of breakfast food and it was all delicious. Everything was modern and chic and very clean. Customer service at the front desk was efficient and check in was super professional as well. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here, however the temp in the room was a little chilly and it barely warmed up after changing on the thermostat.

The lobby was beautiful and the breakfast was amazing!

Very nice hotel. Only complaint is that breakfast doesn't begin until 7:30 on the weekends. It was a good breakfast though. Needed more creamer options for coffee.

The one thing I found really disappointing was the breakfast that was included with your room. To start my day off right, coffee and a good breakfast are a must! There's no real coffee at this location included. The gift shop has Starbucks, which saved me a couple of mornings. Breakfast has some great variety and choices for instance the omelets made to order are AWESOME!!! The sides such as the frozen heated pancakes, bacon and potatoes all were horrable for Embassy standards!

Enjoyed the evening reception, and breakfast was great, the hotel was well kept even though it's an older hotel, we travel to Huntsville several times a year but have never stayed at the Embassy Suites but now this will be our 1st choice when staying in Huntsville

The restaurant coop had a big back log of tickets sat for 1 1/2 hrs no food. About 20 ppl left we were late for our show. Came back at 9:30pm to give it another shot. food was great just wish it wasn’t backed up this was our 15th wedding anniversary!
