Comfort Inn Huntsville Research Park

The pool was really nice, staff accomodated our odd hours, but they were unwilling to provide enought towels and they are all very small, the pool towels looked like rags. If you bring your own towel and soaps, this place is great. =] Thank you! =]

The pool closed at 9 pm. What the heck. Most motels have adult hours after 10 pm. Being on the road for 12 hours it sure would have been nice to take a swim upon arrival at the motel

Room was comfortable. Checkin lady was very nice. Check out guy not so much. Hot tub NOT hot. More like warm. Only one jet was working. Very difficult to get into it. No steps or handrails. If you need something to eat. Plenty of places close by. Chick-fil-A next door.

Went here for my birthday trip and staff was rude the entire time. Breakfast was very limited and tasted like baby food. The day of our checkout staff was trying to enter the room at 10am while we were still in there when checkout is at 11am. Staff told us to come to the front desk to discuss something with them after we had told them we were preparing to leave. Also to add to the experience I booked this hotel specifically for the hot tub and to my surprise it was barely even warm. I will not be staying here again

It was a very nice room especially for the price. The hot tub was nice and relaxing. The beds were comfortable, and the breakfast was nice also. Would definitely stay again.

Staff was great. front desk changed our room easily when first room smelt smokey. Hot tub was only 95 degrees cause it flows into pool so I was told it can’t get hotter. Not a hot tub to me but it was a nice pool for swimming. Very clean, quiet and breakfast was nice sausage could be cooked on skillet to brown more but overall we’d come back.

Curtains were full of nasty stains. Blankets all has holes in them. Ceiling and walls in bathroom were crumbling. Hot tub tiles and wall falling apart. No stairs to get in and out of small hot tub. Breakfast is done at 9:00 sharp. Don't even ask people there eat if they want anything else before closing up.

Everything looked clean. The indoor pool area has no a/c, so it is too hot in the Summer to sit and watch kids swim. As soon as the rain started, the cable went out.

The stay was fine, but the building smelled very strange. It was chemically, like a hair salon, and unpleasant. An average stay.

Brandi at the front desk was particularly gracious and helpful. This property is immaculate inside and out. The room, layout, bed, and conveniences were all just right. For the price, I don’t think anyone would find a better hotel anywhere. We would definitely come back here.

Hotel was clean and quiet a great value for the price

Once we arrived, the lady checking us in seemed confused and barely gave me any information. Our key stopped working twice and had to wait at the desk for new keys. Pool area is mediocre. Hot tub jets didn't work. German Cockroach droppings around the A/C unit in our room so we didn't use the unit as to not risk breathing that in. Breakfast was typical crappy microwaveable rubbery bacon and tasteless eggs. Only stayed for one night so there's not much else to say but I wouldn't book this place for a longer stay.

Excellent stay at a very reasonable price! Check in was smooth and three guy was super friendly and helpful. Hotel owner or manager was very involved in every aspect. I think this was by far the cleanest hotel I’ve ever stayed at! While we were there there was even a guy cleaning the windows to the gym. 2 women constantly cleaning the breakfast area. What I saw was a very well managed and taken care of hotel. You could see a huge level of respect between the owner/manager and the employees. Hot tub was small so definitely not for a big group (4 of us fit in there just fine) . I am in Alabama often and will definitely be staying here again. Highly recommend this one!

I will never stay here again. When I arrived I was told my reservations had been cancelled. I did not cancel it. Was initially told the hotel had no available rooms. Suddenly at a considerable higher rate a room was available. It was homecoming at Alabama A&M so I knew rooms were in short supply and I was exhausted. Checked in and room had a terrible odor and TV did not work. Bathroom floor was grimy . Front desk person was so nonchalant about it all, it was borderline rude . Do not stay here.

The room has great view, there is an empty piece of land behind the building. It is so quiet. I love it. The sun shine is amazing for most of the day. Unlike many other hotels, the room window can be opened. That means fresh air! A true break from AC all day.

It was fine for the price. Clean. You do hear people walking above you, but was otherwise quiet. The eggs and coffee at breakfast are really bad, but what can you expect for the price?

This is much older and outdated property when compared to most others in the area at comparable price.

The toilet would run for a good while after each use but other than that, everything else was good. No complaints here. Wouldn't mind staying again.

Comfirtable room, good breakfast

Clean room, comfy bed, HOT HOT WATER, but bring your own pillows theres were the feather pillows but they were really worn and uncomfortable to sleep on.

Where to begin…. This place was a DOOZY! I have stayed in MANY hotels and I have never experienced the treatment I did here. Literally from the moment we walked in the front desk attendant was sitting at a table barefoot and seemed peeved to help us. The next day management knocked loudly on our door in the morning - with our DO NOT DISTURB sign UP - accusing us of smoking because we had our window open and sign on the door (my girlfriend had just got off 3 nurse shifts in a row). I witnessed a guest get berated by the owner because of his race, and the cherry on top- I was told i couldn’t bring breakfast food up to my friend who wasn’t feeling well because…. Policy? Oh finally the hot tub was cold and the light off when we went. Nope. Don’t do it. Not worth it.

My stay was totally fine till I was waiting on some friends after I checked out and watched the front desk keep working people over for their incidental deposit. The one specifically was painful, the front desk guy had a picture inside their room of sheets on the floor and was trying to say they had 4 people staying there with no real idea of what was happening. Everyone uses the “do not disturb” signs so I’m not even sure it was legal they were in their room, especially to take a picture of their stuff, but then to charge them $150 extra for making unwarranted assumptions I thought was a gross power trip from someone that would gain nothing from it other than “I’m right, you’re wrong” feelings, without any attempt to actual understand the situation. Who knows, maybe a couple got in an argument and someone slept on the floor. The couple was saying they just had friends stop by that were staying down the hall and they were just chillin for a while. Who knows and doesn’t matter, just sucked to be the last energy I saw in the place for what was an otherwise good trip. They were not the only couple I saw the guy get for their deposit as I sat there for only 10 minutes either. Just watch yourselves out there rangers.

It was terrible, and the manager was totally disrespectful. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

The room was super comfortable. Shower had great pressure. The bed was super comfy. Breakfast was great. There was a big variety of foods. The lady that was working the front desk when we checked in was there again in the morning. She was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely plan to stay here the next time we come to Huntsville.

It was a horrible check in $100 hold for incidentals? Ive never heard of that for a Comfort Inn. All hotels have incidentals but $100 for 1 night was ridiculous. It waa double of what the room cost. The vending machine took my $2 and I wasnt reimbursed for it. I wouldn’t recommend anyone staying at this particular property.

Everyone was absolutely amazing and the hotel manager was phenomenal she gave us amazing recommendations and was just an amazing person everyone was great!

This was a very nice hotel to stay at for our day trip to The Space Center. Conveniently located. Friendly staff, clean and comfy. We would stay here again!

The hotel is a bit dated, but very clean and the front desk staff was super helpful. It's in a great part of town near lots of shopping and restaurants. The breakfast was not my favorite, but it did the job. Would definitely stay here again!
