The only reasons i can't give this place 5stars is the RIFICULOUS upcharge for a room with a microwace/refrigerator. Setiously, its like $40 more!! The other reason? The TVs. There is almost always an isdue, either a dark blue cast over it, or it's way too dark, or there are big bright white spots all over. The staff(especially the night staff) are super nice and they are so patient! I have heard them on seceral occasions trying to assist and work with customers even when there isnt anything they can do. As in, suggesting other local properties, or letting someone vent (going full blown Karen) and ive never seen anyone hanging around the office. In kther words, the staff is very proffesdional. So to the owners.get rid of the upcharge, and find some discontinued tvs at wholesale , and to the staff, keep it up!

Checked in very late because we were coming from out of town. Was very easy to check in. Staff was great for check in. Parked under the tiny tree in the single spot. Was very safe. Lots of others cars there, too. Room was great - very nicely done. The AC was ridiculously COLD, like RIDICULOUSLY COLD. This was great. Eventually had to turn it way down. Great price, too. In the morning, a young man was cleaning the pool area and the complex in general. I asked him when the pool opened, and he said 11am. We walked to Macca's for breaky. Crossing the big street was a little dangerous, but just be mindful and you'll be ok. Lots of other restaurants nearby. We started swimming at 11am. Nice pool. For the price, you really can't beat it. I haven't stayed in a Motel 6 in a long time, but I'm glad we did, and we'll be looking into them in the future.

If we could give a zero star smh. This place isn’t in the nicest area the room looked a little run down. Looked in the bathroom and a bunch of little spiders everywhere. They were crawling on the floor, shower, toilet, and the ceiling. We asked the front desk if we can change rooms not even 21 minutes after we checked in. ‘Joe’ and ‘Gustavo’ said we should have told them 10-15 mins after check in they would be able to do something. We also asked about issuing a refund and we only had 5 min after to request one I asked for the corporate number he couldn’t provide one, said go on the website with a smirk on his face. This was 8/31/2024 at 10:33pm

The room was awful. The mattress springs were broken. The bed was sunken in. It was impossible to sleep it was so uncomfortable. I should receive a refund for this night. My back is still recovering from trying to lie in the hole that the hotel is passing off as a mattress. There was hair on the towels. The table was wobbly. There was the smell of weed coming through the vents. The heater sounded like a an airplane engine rattling and nearing explosion. Whenever someone in another room turned on the water, you could hear it gushing through the pipes in the building.

My Partner, our 11 month old and I, stayed at this hotel. The room smelt horrible like smoke , there was a hole in the wall in the bathroom, the floor was disgusting and not even cleaned and the room was infested with earwigs! We found and killed about 20-30 just the night we stayed there. They didn’t even offer soap!!! Don’t stay here. Not worth the money. I wish I could get my money back for this. Never again.

Staff was super lovely. Easy to check in and out. Ice machine easily accessible. Lots of parking options and close to ammenities. The floor had puddles everywhere from the room and the tv didnt work The area is very noisy with bikers passing and pulling into the facility. Not a bad stay all round.

The room was clean but very outdated. The mattress was worn out and noisy. The wood flooring needed repair work. There were pieces missing and it was all scratched up. The desk chair was an old hard wooden chair. And the only double bed with a fridge was upstairs.

The morning service was so rude and had a scowel on her face. Instead of asking me to put my service dog on a leash she put me on the no rent list and said I was rude. The place never slept so loud couldn't sleep and cops were in the parking lot 2 out of 3 nights I was there.

Everything was okay I was very comfortable the room is clean. My only complaint is that check-in was at 3:00 p.m. I even spoke to the lady at the front desk prior to me getting there I wasn't able to check into about 3:45 almost 4:00 because the lady that I spoke to decided to take a break at 3:00 so on the hottest day of the year I had to wait in my car for her to get back there was no apology nothing. It's people and businesses like that that really make it hard people like me there's no one to complain to you have no other option but to get the room you can't get your money back and they know that so they use it to their advantage and I think that's very cowardly.

I liked nothing. The clerk was slow in starting the check-in. She had my driver licence and credit card, when I told her I needed to use a bathroom IMMDIATELY. She responded by an outright refusal to let me use a bathroom until I paid. I could not pay until she finished check-in. I could not leave without my driver license and card. By the time I got my card, I had wet my pants. I wanted to go to another hotel, but did not want to leave before I changed clothes. So, I checked in

My favorite place to stay in the entire bakersfield. well maintained and the staff is super friendly and welcoming. Its also very convenient because its on the california ave. strip so your right near the freeway and so many different restaurants. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This property is like a little heaven in a rough neighborhood. I didn’t go out walking after nightfall. But I felt safe on the property premiss and felt cared for by the loving staff. I also loved the free coffee in the morning

Too many transients buring stuff at night and constant walking around talking loud tappimg on our doors and making noise. One guy was asking for change and cigarettes. As a Combat Veteran I dont like people sneaking up behind me, sonething needs to be done to deter their activity. Saw one guy running around half naked. Just on edge worried about my Jeep. Other than that close to food establishments and rate was reasonable.

I’ve been staying at this Motel 6 at this location at least 2 weekends a month since September for school. It’s walking distance from a Starbucks, Habit and other restaurants!! It’s clean and very reasonably priced. I’ve stayed a different chain that was closer to my school. It was more costly, but had roaches!! I must say Jess has exceptional customer service!! It’s always nice to know that she knows I’m a regular!!

Good price, reservation and check in was easy, it's was a nice clean room and nice mattress, plus there's a Denny's restaurant literally in the next/adjoining parking lot, and a McDonald's next to the Denny's, and other restaurants and an all night gas station within walking distance.

Great location 😃, asides a few homeless people, enjoyed the stay! Doors have triple locks, felt very safe. Front desk/staff awesome 👍, super fast check in, put me right up front. Amazing Aircon, was surprised it (like the light) was already on!! Thanks, the best 2 star ⭐⭐⭐ motel around, will most likely be back in 3 weeks!!
