My expectations were higher for a Marriott hotel. The pool was closed, the paint was peeling in the bathroom, and we had no hot water. I was disappointed they couldn’t accommodate my request to move to a room away from the elevator, they said that rooms are assigned by the morning even though we booked a few weeks in advance and specifically requested it.

Truly enjoyed our stay. Breakfast bar had many selection to pick from and. Our room was clean, super comfy beds. The bathroom was the only down side, it was outdated and the water didn’t drain properly. The pool is indoors and needs better ventilation and a good scrub needed for the pool floor.

Everyone on staff were great. They have a shuttle to CSG for free. The breakfast was good, they had a great oatmeal bar and freah fruit salad during the week. On the weekend they had egg and breakfast meats. They helped us with early check in and late check out. The only down side was the pool. They have an indoor pool which was a huge selling point but it was closed all 5days we were there.

OK Honestly, I chose it because of the proximity to the airport and the shuttle being available. Upon my arrival I was met with friendly staff, a clean, good smelling room, and I believe it was the most comfortable of any room I have stayed in. Definitely will stay there again.

Room smelled of mildew, carpet was filthy, bathroom was filthy, tub/shower had peeling caulk, leaky shower curtain and bathroom ceiling was stained and there was zero ventilation which caused the bathroom to be wet and damp on ebery surface. One washer and dryer for entire hotel. Absolutely terrible. Good news is that there is a Holiday Inn Express nearby

It was nice, clean and easily accessible. Bed was cimfortable. Not too crowded with plenty of parking. Had to request housekeeping service and pick up clean towels from the desk. Overall, a very nice place.

Heating fan had bearing going out in fan and made noise when running, mold in tub, went to use ice bucket and there was still water in the bucket with some mold starting where it hadn't been dumped, and lastly towel rack fell to floor. I understand there can be mechanical issues, but there is no reason for poor cleanliness.

Great area. Mall and other shopping near by. The staff was very nice. Property and rooms were very clean. Only thing I disliked was the tub/shower area. It was clean but but just needs some remodeling. I would definitely stay there again.

We always stay here when coming to Columbus--disappointed re: room cleaning this time only--toothpaste in sink, hair in bathtub, makeup on hand towel. Still will return but please tidy up.

Horrible dog smell in the room. Blood stain on the bedsheet. Manager contacted me a few days later with a cold email apologizing for the inconvenience. It was an expensive lesson but I leaned never to come back and to stay with my habitual and preferred hotel chain. Zero accountability. Zero cleaning. Never again.

The bed was not comfortable at all and pillows were flat. It was noisy right beside highway. Breakfast was not good and we actually left to go eat breakfast since not much to pick from.

Our stay was one of the worst @ a Fairfield Inn. When we arrived we were initially told our room was not ready at 3:30 pm. She noted we had reserved our booking through a third party. What difference should that make. We finally got a room which was the Junior Suite we had booked. Their were 2 flatscreen tv’s in the suite. Neither tv showed local stations for news or weather. One tv showed MSNBC and the bedroom tv showed CNN. Each tv only carried about 3 stations. That was totally unacceptable. We’ve stayed at Marriott properties all over this country and have never experienced anything like this. Breakfast the fridge was out of odor the time for breakfast should be extended from 6:00 - 10:00 a.m. They were out of bananas by 8:00 a.m. We will definitely think twice for our upcoming travel rather we stay at another Marriott Fairfield Inn & Suites. Thank you.

The manager was the best! Remembered our names, and just had a great team goal with the staff to have superb customer service!!! Property smelled good upon arrival and was clean! If I have to come to the Columbus area again, that’s where I’ll stay!

We stayed here for our state swim meet, and it was a great location- easy to get to the aquatic center from our hotel. The hotel was clean, breakfast was good, and the staff was excellent. Upon our arrival, we found our TV did not work, and the assistant manager (we did not get her name!) was SO helpful and kind. Though she wasn't able to fix it that evening, it was promptly fixed the next day. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are staying in the Columbus area.

Hotel is situated off the interstate and is 10 minutes from most everything. Staff was quite friendly. Rooms are showing their age, especially the baths. Bed was just ok and the breakfast was mostly pre packaged.

Quick overnight stay to see my son graduate Airborne at Fort Benning. Easy and convenient to the base. The room was clean. Bathroom was clean and the best part about the bathroom is they have full sized bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash! Will definitely stay here again if I ever need to come back to Benning.

This Fairfield is conveniently located and easily accessible. It was one of the quietest hotel stays I've ever had. There is some road noise from I-185 but it truly wasn't that noticeable as it got later in the day. The room was clean and comfortable and the bed was quite comfortable. I'll definitely stay here again if business brings me back to Columbus.

I love this hotel. It smells great when you walk in , the customer service is great. The breakfast was not great, they don’t give people who don’t eat pork many choices. I’ve also noticed ( I stayed here 2 weekends back to back) that housekeeping don’t do a good job at cleaning. There is always hair left around and inside of bathtub and they need to clean the ice buckets. Other then that I love it.
