The hotel was under construction and we were not aware of that ahead of time. We were told we had to park at the McDonald's next door, which completely surprised me and was inconvenient. There was a sign in the elevator that stated the water would be shut off daily from 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. due to construction. This information needs to be available to the guest ahead of the stay, as a refund was not available. Very disappointing!

We couldn\'t pull the room darkening blind down so when I told the young man who had greeted us at the front desk I asked if he knew how, his response was, "I don\'t know either". Also of note, the toilet paper holder was hanging from the wall with one screw; while not a big deal it stuck out because the rest of the room was so pristine. Last, there was a dark area on the perimeter of the building from which you could access the hallways and I ran into employees who had slipped out to smoke both times I tried to go through there. The staff who prepared and set up the breakfast were outstanding, friendly and helpful.

I stayed at this Hampton Inn on the idea they had a hot tub. This is more likely on Hotels.com and not the hotel itself.hotel was clean and everyone was friendly. HOWEVER THIS HOTEL DOES NOT HAVE A HOT TUB!

Online it was listed as having a hot tub which was my main reason for booking - it does NOT have a hot tub. Also there was dirty wash cloth on the floor in the bathroom. The AC was not working well, even on the lowest setting it did not get very cool in the room.

Hotel was convenient and clean, but under construction. Close to restraints and ft Moore. Parking lot is not the safest. Stray German shepherd followed me into the hotel. Quite scary. Had free breakfast but so bad we ate out every day

I’m sorry to say but it was the dirtiest Hampton I had ever been in. The bathroom was dirty. Hair in the tub and floor but the worst was the black mold on the shower curtain. I always stay there because I have never experienced that condition so now what.? The staff was great. No complaints there.

My room was not cleaned. I didn’t get fresh towels at all durning my stay. My treat was emptied, but no bag was put back in the trash cans. The desk chair was peeling and I couldn’t use it to sit. I had black all over my legs when I stood up. My bathroom shower was repaired and just painted over. It wasn’t feathered in. The tub was stained.

It was not bad. Not fully clean and room alittle run down. Also this is the first hotel where there was only one towel in the room. I had stated there was 2 adults in the room so shocked we had one towel.

chair in room was torn and worn - mattress worn out - uncomfortable - air conditioner didn't work - great repair person came and it cooled the room about 2 hours later then next night it was hot again. Didn't have any other rooms to move us or any other rooms in the city.

This is an outdated property. I was on the 3rd floor, blinds and curtains falling down, drywall clearly has issues with moisture and it was falling down, carpet is from the 90's, and elevator probably from the 80's. It is close to restaurants but that's about all that is a plus. I will not stay again.

The A/C unit was confusing. It was mostly cold, tried to make it warm but it took forever to understand the functionality considering it was easy to use but no heat was initially coming out. Then after a few random button pressings, the heat was on, but was loud in the room, was able to finally go to sleep but the temp dropped on its own while we slept so I woke up with sinus issues. I didn’t voice it to the front desk because it was already late in the evening when we noticed the temp problem and we’re gonna check out the next morning anyways.

Room was VERY dated. Peeling wallpaper, yellowed jets and aged stained jacuzzi tub with 2 completely different handle styles on faucet, poor lighting (80’s brass dual candle sconces (?) in restroom. Room decor looked like it was purchased from a thrift sale - lumpy rust color chair, worn yellow carpet squares, blue geometric patterned drapes, burgundy “grannie” decor…thermostat from the 70’s with stick controller. Bed was nearing replacement time with ultra-cheap pillows. Such a disappointment from the flagship name. It wasn’t even mediocre. For the price (and name), I was expecting “more”. Strongly consider not using Hilton moving forward; very disappointed.

After this hotels remodel everything is miniature sized. The sink is like an airplane bathroom size. The toilets are designed for children and are unusable by anyone over 5 feet tall. I have always stayed here but will not agsin. They only changed the sheets once in four nights (only after I asked) and never made the bed. Horrible service.

My digital key was not activated until the next day. The toilet was clogged and when I called the front desk I was told “we have a plunger down here if you would like to come and get it”. I disconnected the call and she called back a few seconds later and sent someone up to fix it. The faucet was leaking upon arrival and the employee said he would put in a request. I’m not sure why they would rent the room as I’m sure housekeeping was aware of the severely leaking faucet when they cleaned the room, last but not least, the parking is limited at night. There were cars parked in front of the entrance due to this.

Very dedicated to cleanliness. Good breakfast. In a very good area with lots of excellent restaurants and shopping nearby. In process of remodeling. . Shampoo and conditioner were not pumping and wall mounted. Facial tissue was out. Brought to front desk attention. Someone dropped off these but did not remount them which required a key. Also if staying multiple nights they only clean room and make beds every other day.

1-multiple cars were broken into. Including mine. Stole my gun. The security cameras look like they were 20 years old and was to low to the ground. Need to add at least 2 more cameras. 1 would be on a light pole on the right side of the building were the pole is. Staff didn’t even offer a discount on the room after they found out. 2- the beds were horrible. Old and like laying on the floor and the breakfast food was like room temperature and not much to choose from. Place needs a new overall. Out of all the yrs of staying in Hampton Inn. This one was disappointing.

Arrived at 3:05pm, begger in parking lot was asking for $. No rooms were ready until 3:25pm. Pet fee of $75 was excessive. Bathroom door would not lock from inside. Breakfast was good (for hotel-style), Requested room near elevator and got it.

The staff was very friendly when I arrived. I had called ahead to let them know I was running late but would still be coming in. They were amazing and made the process easy... which is always a comfort from the Hilton Brand. We have decided to make this our regular visit in Columbus when we have to come for my son's doctor appointments. Also, my son said breakfast was chef's kiss which is high praise from him. All the way around a great experience.

The first room we were put into had the most horrible sickening sewer stench! We told the staff and they did move us. Although it was much better there was still a hint of that odor. When I booked it advertised free breakfast. We went down in the morning and there wasn’t even any coffee. When we questioned they said no breakfast until next Tuesday due to renovations. But not even a cup of fresh coffee! And they didn’t even ask if I was a rewards member so I did not get any points for this stay. To be honest it was not a good stay at all!! The desk clerks were very nice and helpful.

Room and hallway leading to room was extremely cold and even though we set the HVAC unit to HEAT at 75 - 80 degrees, the room never warmed over 60. Otherwise, room was clean and comfortable. Very large television with a really great picture. We were not aware that dining area was under renovation and were disappointed that no breakfast was available, aside from a few cold bagels and muffins. Desk clerk stated that Hampton website advised that, but we booked through Expedia and were not aware. Frankly, we would have stayed elsewhere had we known.
