For a motel, it was slightly less than I expected. One of the main reasons we went there was for a pool but it was barely swimmable due to their heater being broken. They said you can still swim but it's not enjoyable. The hot tub is fully shut down. There's huge amounts of construction on the road making it one way, so you have to do u-turns to get anywhere. The room itself had a stain on the floor but otherwise was fine. Staff was nice.

This place needs a DEEP CLEAN. Dust, dirt, etc. all over items in the room, carpet, and bathroom. I will avoid this place in the future. I don't mind paying $350 a night at an economy hotel for a football weekend...but you better spend that money on getting the place clean. I am glad I was solo, guess my wife would not have stayed. Also the pool is closed, and looks like it has been for a while.

Awful. No cups or glasses in the room or bottles of water for sale or gratis. The TV never worked. The advertised pool wasn't heated and the hot tub permanently closed. And it was crazy expensive. Never again.

Hotel advertised to have an indoor pool and hot tub. When we got here and checked in, we found out the hot tub is permanently closed and the pool was having trouble with its heater. We attempted to swim but the water was way too cold. Hotel was average for its price range. The bathroom in our room is literally the smallest hotel bathroom I’ve ever seen.

I went for my grandmother's funeral. My family and extended family took up four rooms and each of our rooms had a number of nasty problems in it. One of them was actual feces on the blanket, another was red crusty gunk on the blanket, my room had mold in the fridge, sink, tub and on some of the walls. And that's not even everything. This place was a disaster and I recommend you steering clear of it

Found dried blood on the wall when I told the front desk she said ok I’ll let someone know Bathroom had hair and dirt all around Sink had nose hair or facial hair around the lip of the sink Smelled musty, moldy like Spa is no longer in use but was left with water in it and things floating on top. Called about the pool but was never told the heater isn’t working. So pool temperature was freezing and no towels in pool area.

It's as good as you would expect in a budget motor hotel, except for one thing. The bathtub didn't drain properly while taking a shower. Even though the water flow from the shower was not strong, the tub started backing up immediately to where water was ankle deep in just 5 minutes. That's unacceptable IMHO.

The room was really big but the bed was really tiny for being a queen and the bathroom was small could hardly shut the door. I tried to call them to see rates and book directly with them to see if they would match Expedia website and they did not. So thankfully Expedia had better deals.

Check-in was fine and it appeared they had a decent breakfast in the AM. It was just not in great shape and was inconvenient. a) No cups in the room, though there was a small fridge and a microwave. b) outdated fixtures, etc, and as we were leaving, we noted a cockroach on the ceiling of our room. Look, I get it - it's a Super8 so we weren't expecting the JW Marriott. It is what it is. A decent place to crash for the night if you don't want to spend a ton of money.

Basic accommodation with very welcoming staff and convenient parking even on a busy (graduation) weekend. Convenient breakfast area. Not for light sleepers due to state highway right across and some car noises going through blasts. Noisy but powerful AC unit. Not very comfortable beds but definitely standard for hotel category.

The rate of $200+ per night is way overboard. This "hotel" has not been updated since the 70's, and it feels cheap. It is NOT a hotel I would ever bring my wife to, and she is not fancy. I would say $70-$80/night is appropriate...$220? No way.

I had the unfortunate misfortune to have my car break down and a fix that was supposed to take 1-2 days took almost a week and a half. When I had problems with hotels.com Super 8 was so accommodating and understanding. They were on the phone with hotels.com going over and beyond what they needed to. Words can’t express how nice they were and helpful. From everything to restaurant recommendations to where the closest store was located! I just absolutely loved my experience and if the winds of travel ever sends me through Bloomington again I will definitely be staying there and stopping in to say Hi!!

We attended graduatiion at Indiana University and was greeted with a gift bag including a welcome letter to the graduation. Very thoughtful and of course a bottle of water is always appreciated. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

The property is conveniently located near the Indiana University campus. Very affordable. Room dated but clean. Pleasantly surprised that I received room service without asking. Staff very friendly and helpful. I would not stay there for a vacation, but perfect to move student out of their dorm.

The motel was clean but outdated. The staff was very friendly. Breakfast on weekends should last until at least 10. It was really hard to get in and out of motel because the block on highway in front of motel. I didn't get to try the pool but it looked very clean.

Listen, no Super 8 is ever worth more than 3 stars. They’re always about 1/2 to 1 step above a Travelodge or Motel 6. From busted lamp shades and stained armchairs, to less than mediocre breakfast, haphazard heating/cooling units, you know you’re getting something barely functional for the price. I mean, they can’t even be bothered to have queen size box spring for a queen size mattress. Everything is as cheap as possible. And for Bloomington, Indiana, the location is about as inconvenient as possible. It’s close to the football stadium and interstate, but you can’t make a left turn out of the property (though this could just be a result of current road construction). It was barely manageable for a short stay on a budget, but would not be acceptable for a longer stay with more involved business in town or at IU.

I am usually not a complainer but this hotel is pretty bad. There were multiple red spots on the carpet in my room. Not sure if it was blood or red paint but it was pretty gross. I wore shoes in the room at all times and didn't even dare to shower. Other than the waffles, breakfast was pretty bad too. It it was almost unedible. The coffee was probably the worst I've ever had.

Mediocre. Access to hotel isn’t the best, design of hotel rooms has doors swinging into bathroom. This make it impossible to have any more than 1 person at a time in there. Also, you have to shut the door to stand at sink or use toilet. Breakfast free, but eggs were rotten. Same breakfast daily, no change.
