Days Inn by Wyndham Geneva/Finger Lakes Geneva, New York, was clean and the area was quiet. The air conditioner was louder than we preferred but were grateful at keeping the room comfortable. Staff were nice. Breakfast was good. I didn't see an elevator. We chose to use the stairs to the second floor. Nice place for the price and one night stay. Geneva waterfront is a great place to visit.

We asked for and received an updated room, and it was quiet, spacious and comfortable. It was on the second floor (no elevator - no problem for us), as a lot of renovation work was in progress on the first floor. Tiny fitness room has working treadmill, elliptical and recumbent bike. Elliptical only good if you’re under 6 feet tall, due to the low ceiling. Co tinental breakfast was straightforward and adequate for all needs. Hard boiled eggs in the fridge with yogurt, milk, OJ. All told excellent value for the money.

It’s hard to completely fault a property that appears to be trying to improve. But there was no elevator and I feel this should have been disclosed upfront. PROS: The low price I paid was a fair value for the stay TV in the room was enormous Good location Nightstands for both sides of bed There was a gym which my wife insists on CONS: Innerspring mattress was horribly “springy” and not at all comfortable Questionable cleaning - the main furniture was not even wiped off - there was a ring there left by a prior guests beverage. Disgusting! And if that was forgotten, made us wonder what else was missed The bedside lamps and outlets did not work. Informed the front desk but nothing was done. The nightstands had USB ports but they didn’t work either. I had to go back out to my car to get a portable charger for overnight Sheets were so thin in spots you could practically see thru them In the end, if I knew the details it wasn’t worth the saving and I would have picked another place. I will be more careful with Expedia rating because in no way would I consider this place “Good.” There was a large dumpster on the property so it appears improvements are ongoing - the mirror in the bathroom was upgraded to a modern side lit unit that was still so new the protective foam corners were still stuck to it - It’s currently much cheaper than other area hotels so give it a try if you like and spend the savings on a bottle or two at one of the wineries.

Comfortable bed. Easy check in. Small dining area made it difficult to eat with the crowd there on the holiday weekend. No elaborate breakfast, just satisfactory. No elevator which was a disappointment.

Old motel sitting back from the road. Room was quiet. I suspect that some renovations are under way, as there were construction dumpsters along the back side of the building. All in all, you get what you pay for.

Hallway and room were boiling and there is no elevator. One good thing was room air conditioner worked quickly to cool room down.

It's a Days Inn so expectations weren't high. However, there appears to be 1 person working the entire place. Towels were a huge issue. Sink was broken, stain on bedspread, no closet just hooks? Front door is not automatic and no elevator?

Was hard to get our stuff through the office and to our room. They need to have a couple of luggage carts. Breakfast disappointed. Had to have key cards reprogrammed to get in the room.

The pillows were horrible! They were the size of couch pillows. There was no iron and worst of all no elevator!

Hotel was decent and comfortable. No elevator and there are smoking rooms. For our purpose (a place to sleep at night) it was good. Beds were comfortable but basic blankets. Room was clean. Outside could use a regular walk through as there was trash out there for a couple days that someone left. Location was great for everywhere we wanted to go.

After staying in a ridiculous bed and breakfast, this was a relief. Clean, quiet, simply but nicely furnished, the check-in staff was very friendly, and the price definitely was right.

Common areas were filthy, dared and threadbare, hvac system made loud scary noises all night preventing me from sleeping

The property reeked of Marijuana. Bathrooms were dirty shower curtain had brown muddy finger prints on it and muddy spots throughout. Toliet was dirty like it wasn't cleaned with a brush at all.

Room felt dirty. Bathroom floor sticky, bedspreads dingy, dirty and torn with holes in them and stains. Hole in window screen. Check out was 11am and they knocked to clean room at 10am even though we had do not disturb sign on door. Housekeeping stood by door until we left. Back door left open with dirty carpet stuck in door. No hospitality information upon check in or any information in room. Bathroom had stains on tubs and toilet. I would never stay there again. It was the worst Days Inn ever! Disappointing.

The Day’s Inn of Geneva is conveniently located on the main highway that passes through this municipality in Upstate New York’s Finger Lakes Region. The facility is clean and well-maintained. The staff was courteous and helpful. The breakfast room was adequately stocked and pleasant. There are several practical dining options one can walk to from the hotel including a Chinese buffet and fast food establishments. Downtown Geneva, which is a short drive from the hotel, is a charming area of shops, restaurants and other businesses located in lovingly preserved and restored historic buildings. There are also parks and walkways offering panoramic views of Seneca Lake. We enjoyed at our stay at the Day’s Inn in Geneva.

The staff was friendly. Room was clean. Parking was close to building.

We actually left. The room smelled, it was run down and hair on bathroom floor. We found another hotel.

The floors were unwashed and the linen was threadbare, Very expensive for the limited amenities. There was someone fumbling around in the middle of the night right outside of our door. Very disturbing.

Convenient location on the main road. Dirty bed sheets though.

Clean room

Hotel was clean, but no closet, hooks, hangers or drawers to put clothes.

Clean room. AC unit was fine but a little louder than usual.

Clean and friendly staff. Mattress was hard. Not comfortable. Smelled marijuana in hallway. Doors slamming shut most of the night.

They falsely advertised free wifi. There was none. I was told that there was a problem and a technician was working on it. The next day I was told it was the weekend and they could not get a technician. Days Inn did not even come up as network so I knew I was being lied to. Our room was not swept or mopped. The fridge was rusted. The property was dated. I would never recommend this place.

This is a motel not a hotel, and does not come close to meeting the standards associated with the name "Wyndham. Bathtub floor had crack in the middle of it and when you stepped on it brown material came out, assuming it was some type of padding but it looked terrible. HVAC unit sounded like a Helicopter every time it turned on to go through the cold cycle, imagine trying to sleep next to that. Room only had 1 towel and 1 wash cloth even though 2 of us were in the room, had to go to front desk. When we first turned water on in sink, some type of gunk came out and water was brown. We ran it for a while to clean it out. Maintenance must have disconnected wire to fan switch in bathroom because fan ran entire time we were there, couldn't shut it off. Bad Experience!

The internet was awful

This was a great value for the stay. The bed was very comfy, and the room had a good size to it. The only downside would be limited hanging. There was no closet.

The room smelled like wet dog, and the door required excessive force to open. The keycard system was temperamental, often requiring multiple attempts before unlocking the door. The facilities were not well kept, with utility closets and their unsightly contents left wide open. The air conditioning unit was extremely loud, and I opted to turn it off for this reason. The sound isolation between rooms was nonexistent, and I could hear activity in other rooms with clarity.

Property was very dated. It was clean. Not friendly to the Eye. But serve the purpose and close to the beach.

Ac was very noisy and rattled all night long. Pillows and bed were very uncomfortable.

No do not disturb... housekeeping came in my room even though i did not request. No prior notice of housekeeping protocol... other than that the hotel was clean and safe... loud in the mornings.. they were always vacuuming after 9am

Under comment section for notes I asked for two extra towels and two extra pillows, then after I received the text from the hotel, I also asked for the same two extra towels and two pillows. Never received them ..

Great customer service

Moving in there were no carts to help with luggage. Staff was indifferent on check in. One bedside lamp had to be unplugged to turn off. Security lock was broken off of the door. Both exterior and interior doors did not work properly. Sticking. Air conditioner was extremely noisy. The property was non smoking but people were smoking Marijuana noticeable in the hallway. Property manager was at our room and walked through the smell and did nothing. Breakfast was limited. Not recommended that you choose to stay here.

I took off one star because during our 4 night stay, our room was never fully cleaned, beds never changed, etc. Had to ask for additional towels and toilet paper and that was the extent of it. Finally on checkout morning we got a loud knock on the door a few minutes before our 11 am checkout, like “get out!” We were packed and getting ready to leave and that was just rude. I assume it was housekeeping. I usually leave a tip for housekeeping, but not this time. Other than that, the motel is fine. Appreciated the hard boiled eggs in the morning!

Check in was very slow. Printer was out of paper for person ahead of me waiting for a receipt, but two people behind counter failed to even say hello to me let alone check me in. Breakfast was a joke! Both coffee urns were empty at 8 am. Cups provided were small water cups as the coffee cups were gone. Staff advised me to go get a paper cup from my room! Muffins were the teeny tiny ones from Costco. Entire experience was a disappointment. Won’t ever stay here again.

We pre checked in do we wouldn’t have to wait. It literally took just as long at the desk if wr didn’t pre-check. She then gave us a key to someone else’s room. That was embarrassing. Walked back gave me another set of keys which she just gave to my cousins which I discovered when I opened there door. Walked back she proceeded to give me the same set of keys that I first received. She walked back with me for the third time and it was the same room I started with and someone was in the room. She then saw some man in the hallway and he asked if there was a problem. Dahhh he told her the people in room 126 was a sleepover. Shouldn’t she have know that. Anyway after 4 tries we finally got a room. Was not a good experience at all.

We spent 3 nights recently at Geneva Days Inn and enjoyed our time there. The breakfasts were nice and choices enough for us.-waffles, hard boiled eggs, bagels, bread, mini muffins, cereal, milk, coffee, yogurt and juices. The staff was very accommodating. It’s not new but clean.

We were here for a college visit, and stayed at the Days Inn. It was affordable, clean, and convenient to get around even by walking.

although property appeared dated the room was very clean- had everything we needed-nice fridge, ironing board, coffee maker- great TV- convenient to everything and easy to get to and park- doors opening & closing were loud - especially at night - did not eat the breakfast so can’t comment on that but like that it started early as we are early risers

Clean room that appeared to have been recently remodeled. Room was quiet. Property is a short drive to downtown and is close to conveniences. The free breakfast is very limited. This is not a high end hotel, but has everything needed for a comfortable stay.

The overall experience was good. Two remarks though: 1. The breakfast is a little poor. 2. The fan in the bathroom was really noisy (Room 215).

The place was no frills but clean and comfortable. The breakfast offerings were great! I would recommend this hotel.

This property was under construction...which we were not told about. No breakfast was going to be available..the hallways were dusty from construction and the linen on the beds had stains on them....very cold rooms

Some outlets were not working, room floor was dirty.Breakfast options too little. But overall average facility, average service and got the job done. Area is nice and safe.Facility could be updated more as charges are above average.

Very cold day and upon arrival there was no heat in the room. Undergoing a major renovation, there was sheet rock dust all over the hallway. Would not have stayed there if I had know. Finally, the manager said he would charge me for one night stay instead of two but never gave me the credit. Subsequently, my phone calls were not returned.
