Really weird that the back doors were never locked and we were told that we would need our room key to get in. Need to update the shower/tub, can tell it’s old and has been patched up.

The bathroom flooded shortly after our arrival. Water was pouring from the ceiling. No phone in room to call front desk. Quickly ran downstairs to alert them. We packed up and moved to another room only to find there was no phone in the room and the safe was not working and not repairable. Decrepit conditions.

Everything was great as usual since the renovations, however I did just happen to notice and this is probably of a corporate issue, while everything is clean no complaints the rug/carpet really needs to be steam cleaned, and I wonder if the cleaning crew mops the tile floors too?! my socks and feet were black when I did too much walking..Also I am quite certain this is an industry issue, I will bring my beach sandals for the room next time..I'll continue to stay there when the prices are reasonable..

Bathrooms were disgustingly dirty. The bathroom floors need to be scrubbed, toilet and sink cleaned. Have your employees do a better job. We pay all this money to stay at the hotel and this is what we get. And what happened to front desk etiquette and professionalism? One of the employee at the reception area had poor personal hygiene and the other one was rude. I should have left that place as soon as I saw this but decided to stay because it was very late and I knew I was not going to find anything else. Worst decision ever and worst Valentine’s Day ever.

Conveniently located to downtown, the highway, dining, etc. I stayed with my son for a stay over at a local hospital. Staff were very friendly and helpful when I had to extend my stay. Wish there was a fan in the bathroom but the Dove body wash, shampoo, and lotion was a great touch. The sink located outside the bathroom worked for us although I can see where it might not work for others. The room was clean and the beds were comfy and well made and TALL.

The tv was old school and not a smart TV so you couldn’t stream anything. All were fine except for the breakfast time and check out time. When having breakfast Saturday morning, everyone was rushed out even though we had 10 minutes before it was closing. The workers were announcing over and over that they were closing and many of the hot food choices were gone. They were cleaning up so that we had to wait til they were done and didn’t get much time to eat. I took my time because they were rude and we couldn’t really get to the food. One woman stood at the door while announcing breakfast is over and staring us down to leave. It was rude and unnecessary. Also at checkout the next day. They knocked on the door one hour before check out. I have never had that kind of service where they are rushing you out of the door. I will never return.

Stayed one night-easy check in and out. Very nice staff and super clean. My daughter forgot a bag there and the front desk called to let us know. We are back home now but they are going to hold it for us until next week. I would recommend.

I call two days prior to cancel my reservation, I was informed that nothing would need to be done and it was taken care of. A week a later I see a charge on my account and when I called the property they claimed they didn’t receive any notice even after giving them the name of the person I spoke with I was told there was nothing that could be done since the room was not canceled and the man forgot to cancel the room due to him being extremely busy and I needed to pay the one nights stay with taxes. Very unprofessional and would not recommend this property due to their staff.

The Hotel was very convenient for our three day weekend. If you’re touring the museums and historical sites this is perfect. Hagley, Winterthur, Brandywine arts museum and Longwood gardens are 20 minutes away. There’s plenty of restaurants around for what ever you’re looking for! We chose to go to an Italian restaurant in Chadds Ford! Also close by!
