Good experience especially there’s three free EV chargers with type 2 plug. Downside is the majority of people parking at the EV spots were not electrical vehicles. The room is large enough but slightly aged and could be cleaner. Great hospitality from the staff with great food.

Clean & spacious rooms with 2 comfortable queen beds. And quiet Staff very courteous and helpful when requests were made for extra items Good location to lake and bus routes to sightseeing or tours. We would Recommend One note: The outdoor pool area is small so don’t expect a large lounge chairs area etc.. But nice to have the pool for anyone wanting to enjoy a dip or a beverage in the outdoor sitting area

Clean and tidy. Excellent toiletries. Fantastic Air Conditioning. I was really surprised. I thought it was going to be one of those hotels with a bunch of amped-up reviews saying how great an older place was. This place was surprisingly nice. Parking is VERY TIGHT. Breakfast is an additional $19 NZD. Laundry facilities are a single washer and dryer which needs $2 coins.

It would be greatly improved if there were clear signage and additional temporary parking spaces reserved for guests checking in when driving into the hotel. The location of the parking spaces reserved for disabled guests is somewhat inconvenient and could be better positioned. Rooms located behind the reception desk are easily disturbed by the movements of the front desk staff, affecting the guests' rest. The play area for children is not ideal. It obstructs other guests' movement, and small toys like balls can easily roll through the railing into the lobby

Booked at last minute just needing a place to sleep. Got that and much more. The bed was super comfortable, the room was immaculate and the access was convenient. The EV charger was a nice bonus. Will definitely stay here again next time I'm back in Rotorua

The bathroom had hair all over it. The bed also had a long hair next to the pillow which any inspector would’ve seen. We reinstated one day of housekeeping to which they didn’t vacuum the floor. There is only one washer and dryer for the complex and the washer doesn’t wash well even with a smaller sized load. Not a 4/5 star property as advertised.

When I wanted to prepare some tea on the first night, I noticed that at least two of the four cups in the room (and the two spoons) were still dirty from the previous guest. I then sent a message to the hotel using Expedia\'s messaging feature, in which I asked for the cups to be cleaned on the next day. When I returned to the hotel on the next afternoon, the cups were still dirty, and I also had not received any reply to my message. I sent another message, to which I also received no reply. I then went to the reception, where they finally read my messages and said they would take care of it. When I returned to my room after dinner, I noticed that the "taking care" had consisted of just removing the two obviously dirty cups and spoons, without replacing them. I also noticed that at least one of the glasses in the room was also dirty. When I mentioned this issue again during check-out, I was offered a free soft-drink.

We didn’t stay for breakfast, but walking past it looked absolutely delicious. All the staff, including the cleaning team, were courteous and genuinely lovely. The hotel’s location is ideal, a supermarket right across the road, and the mall and city centre just a short stroll away. We’ll definitely be staying here again!

Good hotel in a great location for central Rotorua. We did not realise it was a pet friendly hotel (may have changed as we booked nearly 12 months ago) but the staff were very sympathetic and upgraded us to a family room not usually used for pets. So 100% for customer service. Would certainly recommend

Quick & easy check in. Ample parking. Close to shops/attractions (if you have a car). Room was clean & large. Bathroom was great with great shower pressure. Staff lovely. Overall excellent stay. No outside noise heard from the room.

Disappointed on arrival, very run down, wouldn’t want to go in the pool or hot tub… The person who was possibly the manager who was on reception was not particularly friendly, answered the phone in the middle of checking us in and made us wait. Breakfast was ok but not great, overall the place could do with an upgrade.

2 x fire alarms in 1 over night stay, whilst pouring with rain. Staff had no clue when it came to the fire panel and what the procedure was for evacuation. As a chief fire warden myself, I shouldn't have had to ask questions to trigger some sort of reaction from them. House keeping staff were rude. Maintenance man and reception were brilliant as were the night staff in the kitchen and reception. Heard from others there have been a lot of issues of late ie water pipes bursting etc, so as flash as it looks, maybe time for a full overhaul

The service at this hotel was incredible. I made a huge mistake with my booking (wrong dates) that Expedia refused to help me with, but the staff here were incredibly helpful, especially the manager. They corrected my error, including upgrading my room (since I was already there), providing excellent service that went above and beyond. They know how to run a business and are actually customer focused!

Receptionist very helpful and friendly. Room was clean and spacious. The fire alarm went off and everyone was professional in vacating the hotel. Everything was dealt with quickly and the fire service arrived promptly. Good to know it worked! The breakfast was good. Easy parking.

The property was easily situated in the road in to the CBD and easily walkable to main shops and restaurants. Around a 20 minute walk to Eat Street and less to the Polynesian spa. We had a large room, with amenities. Breakfast was suitable with continental options. Great for a Nespresso pod machine in the room. Staff were friendly and helpful. A great stay. Parking filled up but we didn’t have issues finding a space.

Had to wait between 5-10 minutes to get checked in. Stayed here for 2 nights. Certainly wasn’t worth the money I paid for it. At breakfast there wasn’t scrambled eggs or hash browns. The pancake machine ran out of the batter. Did tell an attendant but wasn’t replaced until almost 15 minutes later.

Okay hotel near the center. Only minus is the breakfast - or the lack thereof. There's breakfast but is quite poor. Both in terms of the food but also in terms of the area in which it's served. The rest of the hotel is quite nice with a small pool for the kids.
