The stay was good with exception of the pool experience where it was unclear and challenging to use the facilities due to the poor service. When the main reason to book for us was the pool it was disappointing how poorly managed it was: unclear swim times for kids, told when we showed up st pool desk at 4:30pm on a Wednesday that the pool is at capacity which it was not, no alternatives or solutions to make up for the poor service.

Exceeded expectations, Alek checked us in, so friendly, excellent customer service. We enjoyed the thoughtfully decorated rooms. Great location! We loved the pool/sauna. We didn’t get a chance to use the bikes, we hope to next visit.

Wonderful stay at this hotel. Beautiful facility at a fantastic location on the River Cam, steps from Queens College and the historic backs. Great bar area with seating area on the river. Would stay here again and would highly recommend this hotel.

My boyfriend and I had a great stay in this hotel for 2 nights over the Christmas break. The room was very spacious, and the spa facilities were fantastic. Just a short 8-10 min walk to the city centre too. Downside is you are charged per day for the car park which we weren’t aware of.

Good hotel but certainly NOT worth the extortionate rates for it. The hotel is decorated well and had a comfortable room but we had much much much better service at Hampton by. Hilton in bath the week before for half the price Here 1) pur room was NOT cleaned during our stay 2) we had stayed here rather than abroad as I was unwell and my nap was disturbed in the early evening by staff knocking on the door 3 times so I had to get up 3) there was a fire alarm in the middle of the night so very disturbed sleep 4) Nreakfast we had to wait 10 minutes to be seated and several food items were missing including apple juice and avocado We did say something and were let off the parking fees which are also extortionate at £26.50 but the hotel still cost £278 per night. Poor poor poor service for that. Such a shame as the hotel has everything and a good location but all the above means it is worth about £100 per night £150 at a push. I have NEVER been in a hotel where my room is not cleaned but particularly one this expensive and to not take money off such an exprbitant reare for all these problems is astounding. If needs sorting out then it will be a great hotel

My stay at the graduate was excellent. Luca was the perfect host. I was graduate of the day so I was upgraded to a room with a view. 5 stars for cleanliness, comfort, friendliness and location.

The hotel has a lovely location and polite staff and we loved the reception and room decors. And the swimming facility was lovely. However the room was not cleaned properly for a very long time. There was dust and fluff all around the bedroom floor. And on the third day, they change our bed cover with one that was clean but was ripped in the middle. Also, at breakfast apart from vegetarian sausages, all the meat options were pork products, with no chicken or turkey important if one doesn’t eat pork. And it was all the same during our 4 days stay.

Start off with the positive. This is a lovely University of Cambridge themed Hilton hotel, with themed key cards, university mock memorabilia pictures etc. and replica antique furniture such as a captain’s desk. it is situated in a brilliant location to explore Cambridge and overlooks the river Cam, giving it pleasant views. We stayed in a premium room which was a good size, clean (excluding below), comfortable bed, spotless towels, great bathroom, good amenities and importantly, quiet, I never heard a thing once in our room. Reception staff are polite, welcoming and make an effort to help. The negatives, housekeeping is somewhat lacking. It’s not that the towels, bedding or room were not clean, they were, excluding cobwebs which we had to ask to be cleaned twice before they were. Housekeeping failed everyday of the five nights we stayed to properly top up the tea, Nespresso pods, biscuits and water bottles. One day they only left one towel (two guests), another day they did not leave any toilet roll when there was only a few squares left on the final roll. Having to call / or walk to reception every day after getting back from a long day to have these basic things provided was rather irritating. They also never topped up the body wash in the shower despite this being requested. Something else I would note, there is no liquid hand soap in the rooms, which every other Hilton location I’ve stayed at for 6-7 years has. I would still recommend this hotel, but it’s not perfect

We paid much more money to stay here because of the location which was walkable to everything we wanted to do. The outdoor area by the canal was very nice and the bed was very comfortable. 3 out of the 7 nights we had no housekeeping at all and we were gone all day sightseeing. I complained after 2 days in a row and things got better and then on our last day no service again so my husband complained and they offered free drink tickerts. We had already been to dinner and wanted a clean room not drinks. Will not stay in any Hilton hotel again.

Wasted lots of time getting our room… service is mediocre and the amenities is subpar… there is no coffee maker (just instant hot chocolate and tea)… oh and there is no fridge in the room… so a Hilton room without a fridge or coffee maker…

I love this place! It’s beautifully peaceful, but for one night when they had a wedding with music well past 23:00. Still, worth it to stay here right by the water. They have the best views I’ve found in Cambridge. The high tea offering sadly is only a teapot with a tea bag (which makes the American high tea I’ve experienced far better!) but the sandwiches and pastries are certainly tasty.

The hotel is perfectly located within two minutes of the historic centre and all the colleges. At the same time it’s in a quiet cul de sac by the fields and on the bank of the river Cam. Staff are all very friendly and helpful. It genuinely feels like a boutique with careful design, pretty furniture. Only the breakfast reminds you it’s part of Hilton with its cheap cereal, pre-made fruit salad and plastic looking eggs. This is the only negative. In every other way this is a perfect choice to visit Cambridge. Very conveniently located. We had been upgraded to a very spacious room with a balcony. It’s very sparse on bathroom amenities (nothing by the sink other than soap). But otherwise great value for the price.

Rooms a bit dated. In need of abit of tlc. For a four star hotel I expected better. There was a wedding party right outside our room that none of the staff mentioned and when calling reception about it I got a rude person telling me there was nothing they could do about it. Just a forewarning would have been nice. It wasn’t even good music!

Although the hotel was lovely I would not recommend this hotel due to our experience. We were placed in quite a small room and it was far from reception and a lift, so quite a walk for access. It also had a co joining room which although locked, we could hear the other room chatting. The front of hotel is bare, not welcoming. The location is good but I just felt this was not an ideal hotel and wouldn’t return.

My husband and I stayed in Graduate Cambridge firstly (July 2023) and the experience was all chaotic. We booked one of the highest room categories (large balcony with river view) and upon arrival they clearly allocated us to an inferior room. When complaining, the staff insisted that the room was correct. During the first stay we tried the seating area over the river but there was no service there, you have to go to the bar and grab/order your own food and drinks. There is a lack of training, no service and long queues there, so every time you spend half an hour to place an order. We found the hotel interior nice so we gave a second try since my husband is doing an MBA and we plan coming back to Cambridge once a month. This second time we booked 2 rooms and brought the family. Such a mistake! The service was again completely chaotic, we book a table to seat outside by the river to have dinner and we had to ask the staff to clean the table over and over until a moment that we cleaned ourselves. It took more than 1 hour for my husband to place an oder and when it arrived wasn't even good. Very standard poor taste. The rooms were okay, but the TV in one of them wasn't working which we had to try to fix ourselves. If you call the reception, they will never pick up the phone. The staff is clearly not trained and there is this felling of chaos from the beginning to the end in all experiences. Please avoid if you are used to reasonable hotels!
My husband and I stayed in Graduate Cambridge firstly (July 2023) and the experience was all chaotic. We booked one of the highest room categories (large balcony with river view) and upon arrival they clearly allocated us to an inferior room. When complaining, the staff insisted that the room was correct. During the first stay we tried the seating area over the river but there was no service there, you have to go to the bar and grab/order your own food and drinks. There is a lack of training, no service and long queues there, so every time you spend half an hour to place an order. We found the hotel interior nice so we gave a second try since my husband is doing an MBA and we plan coming back to Cambridge once a month. This second time we booked 2 rooms and brought the family. Such a mistake! The service was again completely chaotic, we book a table to seat outside by the river to have dinner and we had to ask the staff to clean the table over and over until a moment that we cleaned ourselves. It took more than 1 hour for my husband to place an oder and when it arrived wasn't even good. Very standard poor taste. The rooms were okay, but the TV in one of them wasn't working which we had to try to fix ourselves. If you call the reception, they will never pick up the phone. The staff is clearly not trained and there is this felling of chaos from the beginning to the end in all experiences. Please avoid if you are used to reasonable hotels!

My stay was for two nights with two friends. We had a family room and wanted to sit on our balcony, but no chairs. Requested chair's and were told it wasn't possible as it was a family room, even though there were 3 adult's only in the room. We requested an ice bucket with ice. We received it but the ice bucket inside was very dirty. I rang down for a replacement and was given another. Also I don't appreciate a service charge on drinks when I had been at the bar to order, it was not communicated to me. I only found out later when my friend went to get a drink and took her receipt. On our check out I received an email of the bill and a extra breakfast had been added. I spoke to the young women on reception and she told me basically that we had an extra breakfast, we did not. She repeated again that we had. I at first didn't hear what she said and asked her to repeat it, she spoke to me like I was a child. I do not expect to be treated in such a manner, she was not sincere in her half hearted apology. I will say the lady on the desk in the breakfast room was very pleasant and I suggest she goes onto the reception. Our breakfast was lovely and staff in The Garden Room were excellent. Unfortunately for myself and my friends the issues we have we will not return to The Graduate we will continue going to The Hilton on Downing Street where the staff there are excellent. A little chaotic, room wasn't ready after check in time had passed. Had to wait another hour until they changed my room. Staff seem undertrained, not the staffs fault. Breakfast was poor considering cost. Garden area by river was lovely the highlight of the hotel. The hotel could be great, but staff, cleanliness, and overall chaos let it down.

The hotel is perfectly located within two minutes of the historic centre and all the colleges. At the same time it’s in a quiet cul de sac by the fields and on the bank of the river Cam. Staff are all very friendly and helpful. It genuinely feels like a boutique with careful design, pretty furniture. Only the breakfast reminds you it’s part of Hilton with its cheap cereal, pre-made fruit salad and plastic looking eggs. This is the only negative. In every other way this is a perfect choice to visit Cambridge. Very conveniently located. We had been upgraded to a very spacious room with a balcony. The hotel was generally good, some cobwebs in some of the corners of the bedroom, the hairdryer was old and substandard for this type of hotel. Considering that this hotel has a spa, the lack of bathrobes in the bedroom was a disappointment. The breakfast left a lot to be desired, whilst it was a buffet style affair the food was left too long under heat lamps and the bacon in particular was inedible and hard. The car park was charged for at a rate of £25 per night , and gratuities were added to the restaurant bill, although I had given a tip already. In all not a plaid re-visit.

Very nice hotel in a very nice & clean city. Loved our stay here & the swim & sauna every day was a boost. Only downside I felt was the bar was a bit chaotic when the hotel hosted events. Didn’t seem that this part of the hotel was run as efficiently.
