Very nice, clean and new hotel. A bit out of the way of central Cambridge but have many buses going through so you’re about 10-15 mins from central Cambridge. Cafe next door is amazing so don’t bother with hotel breakfast

Unfortunately, our stay was disappointing for several reasons. The parking situation feels extremely misleading. We drove into the car park and moved the car again less than an hour later, yet were charged £20. The charge applies per 24 hours, but this was not made clear when I booked the hotel. You only find out after entering the car park, by which point you've already committed. I have since noticed that this information now appears on the hotel's details, but it wasn't there at the time of booking. Hygiene standards in the eating area were also concerning. While guests were eating, a cleaner was vacuuming around the dining area and even using the vacuum on the tables. The tables were not wiped down afterwards. I raised this with staff, but nothing was done. Given that the hotel is dog-friendly, this lack of basic cleanliness and potential cross-contamination is unacceptable and raises concerns about the overall hygiene standards throughout the hotel. Breakfast offered a very limited selection and was overpriced for the quality and variety available. The rooms were uncomfortably hot, with no air conditioning, making it difficult to sleep. To make matters worse, the bed was very uncomfortable. Overall, I feel the hotel represents poor value for money and falls short in several key areas, including transparency, cleanliness, comfort, and guest experience.
