The side door to enter into our area was broken. Had to enter through the front door and walk all the down to our room. Bathroom sink cabinet needs to be replaced and the shower wall was separating from the wall itself. Floors were very dirty in the halls. However the pool and hot tub were nice.

This hotel looks nothing like the photos and should be taken off the Baymont franchise. Smoke smell, dirty carpet, only two lights in the entire room, dirty caulking and half finished looking bathroom, a drain that was left totally broken and we had to stick it back on to run for the bath for our kids, black mildew in the shower. Did I mention that there is no elevator and the hallways aren’t air conditioned on a 90 degree day in July? At breakfast there was a sign that said no food or beverages allowed back to the rooms or we would be charged the deposit. ***I come from a humble background and since childhood have stayed in very plain, old drive up motels to make trips possible. Even places that looked like they haven’t changed furniture since 1962 were cleaner and more hospitable than this Baymont.***

It was just okay. It wasn’t terrible, but wasn’t great. It was a bit run down. The pool does not open up until 2. You can’t eat your breakfast in your room which was different. It wasn’t a problem for us, just stating.

They did not have any air conditioning in the halls or pool room, no hair dryer in room, toilet paper holder kept falling out of wall. Other minor repairs or updates would help the building look a lot better. And ALL of the doors are EXTREMELY heavy.

We were gonna stay at this hotel because there was a swimming pool and hot tub upon arrival and checking in. We get to our room and I walked down to where the pool supposed to be in this entire building is under renovation, including the pool and hot tub so needless to say I'm out $80 because we did not say!

Never been so disappointed with a hotel quite like this one. No elevators, pool was under maintenance but when I called a day prior was told it was open. There was a mouse in our bathroom which then got lose in our room called the front desk told they would have the manager call me and that never happened.

The entire place was under construction, so it wasn't much to look at. But the pool and hot tub were lovely, comfortable, and had good hours. I was a little bummed that the training room was closed, I had hoped to get some exercise in while I was staying there. Overall, I thought it was great for the price and a great place to stay on a budget. Can't wait to see what everything looks like once it has been rennovated!

Room smelled so bad and come to find out, the carrier was soaked in front of the fridge so the smell was from stagnant water in the carpet. The bathroom was dirty and had what looked like dried blood on the wall and door. Black mold along where the ceiling meets the wall. Bath tub was moldy and dirty. Bath room sink would not drain. Chair in room with nasty dirty stains. Very poor quality room for the amount of money they charged. Will never stay here again. Ever.

The room was DISGUSTING! No lights in the bathroom, when i got them to work they flickered and were not bright (i have a video of them not working) There was RED AND BROWN STAINS all over my sheets. The night stand was broken and there were no outlets anywhere. Then our room key wouldnt let us back into our room when we left for breakfast and came back so we had to deal with that too. Literally so disgusting would never go again.

During my stay, several families asked to move from one room to another side of the hotel. My room mucus on the walls, coagulated urine on the bottom of the toilet, piles of dirt and tons of hairballs and spills all around the toilet, the second room was just nasty. A shame.

The hotel room was filthy & smelled horrible (like a combination of cigarette smoke & a wet dog). There was dust on all the furniture, the carpet wasn't vacuumed, and the bathroom was dirty. We didn't get clean towels and our key card stopped working on two separate occasions. This place was gross!

DO NOT STAY HERE THEY HAVE BEDBUGS!!! The first thing I do is check for bed bugs. Whenever I stay somewhere. I checked the corners of the bed lifted the sheet and all but it looked clean. First night I woke up with 2 bites thought they were spider bites. Last night I woke up itching all over then I felt the welts. I jumped out of bed and started looking thru the sheets I was just covered with and boom its a hugh bedbug full of my blood running. I wish I knew how to post pictures and videos because I definitely have them. I counted over 20 bites. We packed up immediately and left. At the front desk we were told to write a statement for the manager. I had to end out weekend early and drive in the middle of the night. You would think since I didn't finish my stay I could get a refund for a night or even half a night.

Oh man. Should be able to give a negative rating. I’d rather sleep on a homeless street in downtown Los Angeles. This hotel was the worst experience I’ve ever had with traveling. Will never go to another Baymont ever again. Blood splatter on the walls, dirt/mud/stains on all the blankets and pillows. Clearly hadn’t been cleaned in quite a few stays. Cigarette smoke evident.

Dead roaches on the floor when we walked into the hotel room.. Asked for another room, was moved just next door where more roaches were present.. Floors had stains on them.. Garbage piled up around property bins and in exit hallways of building

Holes in the wall, unknown substance on the walls, mold in the shower and on the shower curtain. The hallways smelled musky and not kept. Spend the money to stay anywhere else.

Room Door Very Hard to open. Had to push it with my shoulder. My wife couldn't do it. No bath towels in the room. had to get them Then no towel rod to put them on. Card didn't work on the outside door, had to go to the front desk, still very tricky to get it to work. minimal breakfast, couldn't take it back to the room for my wife. Surprise Rules!?

The beds are very comfortable , their was confusion at the front desk after I had checked in and unpacked my door opened up and it was another customer who was given the same exact room as me with key to my room, lucky I was inside the room and also he was an honest customer and apologized and showed me his key and key folder was for my exact room number. The pool doesn’t open up until 2pm closes at 10pm Breakfast was good and had lots of options, front end staff were very nice and polite when I had interactions with them, they also only take cash for items you purchase there ie: snacks drinks. There are pets allowed here we did not bring. A pet but noticed animals inside with customers , phones in room are fake (not real) so you have to walk to front desk with issues , which can be over 100 meters Walk in half the rooms …overall 7/10.

The lobby entrance is dark and uninviting. Once inside, the lobby is clean and updated, but we weren't sure they were even open until we got inside. The first room they gave us didn't match the pictures, as we were hoping for a couch to lounge on during our stay. Also, the fridge was very loud, and upon examination, was frosted over and had food frozen to the walls. So, we requested a different room. The 2nd room was tidy, but not really clean. The floor hadn't been vacuumed, and the bathroom was falling apart. There was a dust collection in the toilet paper dispenser, the tissues were empty, and the floor was cracked and sharp. There were cobwebs in every corner of the room, including by the beds. The nightstand outlets didn't work, so we had to plug our phones into the TV outlets to charge. And the breakfast... was inedible. The eggs were rotten. The sausage was burnt. There was no orange juice at all. And the tables were so close together that we all felt smushed. Tables like that are meant to be spread out, with ONE chair on each side, not 2, with walking room in between.

It’s an older hotel but the bed was clean and I loved the hotel set up with balconies. Staff was nice. The tv was a newer tv so you can stream your streaming services. The power strip was over loaded imo. The room does have a fridge and microwave in it. Over all good stay

On our first night, we were put into a room that was unfit for occupancy. It had only one working light (the bathroom), the phone didn’t work, I had to repair the toilet to use it, the bathroom drain plug had to be propped open to drain, and it was dirty. Thankfully, the staff switched us to another room (right next to our original) and it was totally acceptable.

VERY kind staff! Couldn\'t get TV to work due to too many extensions plugged into one outlet. There was maybe just a couple of outlets in the room. When you\'ve got phones/laptops to charge it makes it very inconvenient. Fridge was VERY loud and kept "kicking in" during the night, waking us up each time. Staff was kind, price good but won\'t stay there again.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay! We were taken cared of very well; we had our room transferred in order to have a better WiFi connection. Simply ask them anything and they will do their best. The rooms are clean. It was wonderful to have the hot tub that made our evenings so relaxing. There are many places nearby that we were able to go during our stay. There are many restaurants around and interesting spots like the Lake Michigan, Indiana Dune Park, Washington Zoo are just few minutes away. Awesome!

Still a great stay all in all! My room was unfortunately really close to the pool area, so it was just rather humid throughout the entire D corridor hallways, prompting me to kick up the AC quite a bit. No big issues, small stains on some sheets and TV connection wasn't too great (would shut on & off sayibng 'no signal'). I attempted to use the wifi as well, but with it being a public wifi with no password necessary, it wasn't running smoothly and cellular service was running quicker than any wifi within the building. Perfect for a ONe night stay to lay your head down

Don’t recommend. The room was not clean and there was not enough seating in the dining area. There should be more tables and chairs. And the chairs should be kept down on the floor if they don’t allow food in the rooms. Also still haven’t received my deposit for “incidentals” back.

I had to wait over 10 minutes at the front desk before someone showed up to check me in. Manager was on a cell phone the entire time and didn't pay much attention to me. The hotel's decor was a mish-mash of different paints so it looked dirty, the lobby, halls and rooms smelled of mustiness and dampness. The A/C in our room didn't work well and other issues as well. WE DID NOT STAY. I dropped the keys off at the desk just over an hour after we checked in (4:15 PM). Tried to contact manager, but he was out to lunch. Called back an hour later and he was still out - was told it would be hours. I need to get a refund for this disaster of a reservation. I called this morning to discuss again and no answer. Corporate needs to get involved in this property!

There was a mistake at check-in an additional $265 was charged to my card problem was rectified but took 4 days to get my money back. Beds were comfy but I did see a roach in our bathroom and the shower handle was broken off. Towels and sheets were supposed to be replaced on day three but were not.

Our checking was really good. The hotel is in sad condition. Kinda looked like they were remodeling but it is a sad condition. The room was clean but desperately needs repairs. The chair was broken and badly stained. Bathroom needed repairs. Hairdryer was broken and they had no replacement. Are people living there? Patios were full of empty liquor bottles and trash?? Checkout was awful. Worker was outside on his phone and never acknowledged us or came in to help. We gave our keys to someone jn the lobby. We stayed out of necessity but I’d never stay again. It was a little sketchy. I expected more from Wyndham.

The property is right in the middle of everything which is so convenient!! Me and my youngest daughter stayed for 4 days and really enjoyed it! We went shopping, ate at a few of the local restaurants, rode the train to Chicago, and went to the beach! It is an older hotel so there's no elevator so keep that in mind if you decide to stay here, staff was great and the place was clean!! We will be back!!

3 day stay. Great access to both the National and State park-decent price for a holiday weekend. Kind and patient staff. Felt safe, though very dated building. Old building, they never took out our trash. Very limited breakfast. The sheets were stained and had a cigarette hole in them but were CLEAN. It was par for the course with Baymont by Wyndham-I’ve stayed with them in other cities.

The reviews where back and forth about it being good and bad so I wasn’t sure but we just tried it out, front desk was amazing got to the room it’s very clean very nice got the king bed we booked, pool and hot tub was great , was close to everything restaurants stores. Breakers was regular scrabbled eggs sausage cereal waffles juice milk coffee. Great overall experience will definitely stay again.

It is ok for a night. The indoor pool can only be accessed from 2 - 10 PM. So we missed that. The exhaust fan in the bathroom was not working. The breakfast choices were limited and they ran out of several items with more than an hour left in the breakfast window. The staff were polite and helpful.

We had to unplug the refrigerator is was so loud. The hot tub and pool need a deep clean. There was brown scummy foam and algae in the hot tub and buildup all around the edges of both. Out of coffee and fresh fruit and breakfast. Food was look warm at 8 am on Sunday

We chose this hotel, in part because of the Baymont name attached to it. We'd promised my son a chance to swim in a pool, and it was closed both days. In the morning, we found out there was no milk for the cereal. Yes, they put out cereal and had no milk.
