Orange Juice was empty at 8:20 am - Front desk lady stated: orange juice is gone and wont be refilled. I was stunned by the comment. Beds were comfortable. However. Waste basket in bathroom was dirty. Pool had bandaids laying around the pool Will not be going back to this hotel.

Online advertised a soaker tub in the room I booked but when checking in, the room I received did not have a soaker tub, there wasn’t even a counter in the bathroom, just an exposed sink, a small tub, it was definitely less than I was expecting. The elevator made ungodly noises when moving and i had to get one of my keys reprogrammed after being locked out of my room. I would not stay there again.

The pool was cold and murky. You must go to the front desk for towels. The place smells like weed on the second floor. Ran out of milk for the cereal. Ran out of waffle batter. Not good for $267 for one night.

Nice place .. side door was jammed open.. would not lock.. breakfast was decent… being served until 10a was a plus. Clean and quiet.

The keys to our rooms didn't work at all and the side entrance door wouldn't work , which was highly inconvenient since there was only parking on that side of the building where our room was. Breakfast was minimal at best and the elevator is about to break .

The place was new, good condition. Customer Service was excellent (Thank you Kim!). The pool was out of service (maintenance issue). There were kids on the far side smoking pot (two nights in a row). Not an issue other than it could turn off people from coming, or feel less safe for seniors.

Excellent service offset the fact that the pool was closed and the room smelled smoky.

First room, the door was broken. Second room was NOT clean and had mold (I have pictures). Third room was ok but there was no remote to our TV. We eventually got one. The pool was a hot mess(Sunday) due to some sort of "party" there and we couldn't use it due to the amount of kids in there(besides mine) and the mess that they left. The front desk staff was great through this all.

Our check in was super fast and friendly. The lobby was nice. The elevator was a bit scary as it shook and made some really loud noises. Our room; WOOF. It smelled so bad of cigarettes as we walked in. There was a sand toy on the floor from whoever stayed before us… so not vacuumed. Our sheets had stains and dirt spots. There was also hair on our bed AND on our toilet!! It was very obviously not cleaned properly at all. We left for our event and came back to our room smelling of weed. Ugh. Never again would we stay here. Just dirty unfortunately.

We booked a two night stay but only stayed one night. It was late and we already had our kids and belongings in the room. The room was dirty throughout. The bathroom was the worse. Dirt, hair bathroom products in the walls. This room was clearly not cleaned at all. There was food and various stains on the walls and the carpet was dirty. When I asked about getting it cleaned the girl at the desk gave me a bottle of cleaner and a rag. There was also no shower curtain and we were told they didn’t have any to put on. The lobby, I tried to believe was filthy because it was the end of the night but was the same when we came down to check out in the morning. Mud on the tile, piles of dirt on the carpet. The pool was small and the water very cloudy. The manager was nice enough to refund our stay but I won’t go out of my way to stay at this brand of hotel again.

So dirty and broken. Room stinks like mold.

First let me say the beds were comfortable, that’s important. Beyond that, I can only surmise the 10 point reviews are fake. The room was dirty, the bathroom was filthy. Hair in the shower, s*** dripping down the wall in the bathroom, no cups, empty toilet bottles, ran out of tissues. Screen on window was completely bent, not a pleasant view through a broken up screen. Oh, and the room had a bad smell. AC was noisy and made obnoxious sounds when it kicked on and off which was constantly. Breakfast runs till 9. We were down at 8:30AM and most of the food was gone and we were told no more food was coming out. Pool area was so toxic smelling we could not stay in there. Definitely would not stay again.

It's basically what you'd expect in a Microtel. The beds were clean and comfortable, which was our primary need. There were clean towels that were a bit rough...also an expectation. The AC worked, there was a microwave and refrigerator, and the breakfast and vending machines were adequate. The hallways were dirty, the walls in the room were dirty, and the the desk and tables were dusty. I was expecting all of this to be the case for $80 a night, but I also don't feel comfortable rating more than a two star for what we got.

Stayed because the reviews all said very clean. The floors in room had not been swept very well. Dirt still on them especially along baseboards and corners. Blood on toilet seat. When you pulled back covers, bed was all wrinkled like it had been slept in. There was NO place to plug in phones by bed. Three plugs in room. One for microwave, fridge and hair dryer.

Our room looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in awhile! I had to wipe everything down! Coffeemaker was covered in dust, there was chicken wings left in microwave, the mattress cover was dirty had stains on it! Bathroom floor was dirty! Won’t be staying here again!

The room was very dirty. Bathroom toilet seat needed cleaned, shower and shower curtain was dirty. The trash can it looked like someone soiled in it. Fridge and was dirty. Bed sheets were stained or hadn’t been changed. This was by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in.

The room was less than stellar. The sheets felt damp as the whole room was humid despite the AC being on. There was tape holding the TV remote together, only two outlets in the room, only half of the lights worked, and the hallways smelled musty.

Workers were fabulous! They are why we will be back. However, the room could use some help. Carpet was ripped up in a few spots. Hair in the shower in several spots. And of all things the Jacuzzi tub in our room wouldn't hold water so we didn't get to use it. Convienant location, decent bfast of waffles eggs and sausage. Walmart is across the street.

This is the first and last time that we stay here! The hotel looks nice and clean but, the room was truly a micro room. The A/C was extremely noisy, the toilet as well and even the refrigerator. The pool was tiny and the smell of chlorine was unbearable. The breakfast area is super small so it was crowd in the morning. I couldn’t sleep well for the two nights due to the A/C noise and the bed was too soft, it felt old. The refrigerator was old and noisy too.

The room was pretty clean, but it smelled of smoke and the furniture was badly stained and terribly outdated. Bed was very comfortable and the air conditioning was excellent. The staff were outstanding!

We arrived a little after 8pm and were given the room 118. We were woken up by the preparations for the breakfast, also the noise was very loud while people were getting their breakfast. Not a restful evening.

While the room was clean and the bedding nice, the air conditioner made an awful racket, the blow dryer was broken and nearly caught fire, and the shower leaked. The carpet was tearing up and the room did not smell fresh. It really could use an upgrade.

The rooms are typical of a microtel. However, my door hinge was broken and it was difficult to open and close the door. The pool was also micro-sized. The room had a tinge of cigarette smoke, but overall it was great service. The ladies at night and in the morning were doing so much.

Stayed here to be close to Indiana Dunes National Park. It's what you would expect from a lower budget hotel. Rooms were pretty small.

Tiniest room ever. Not very clean.

The staff is great but the room smells of cigar smoke. The front desk was going to try to see if there was another room. After spraying the room it seemed to be better so we decided to keep the room. It was a poor decision. Housekeeping should have noticed before we got there.

Worst hotel in the area, horrible staff, rude, mouthy and screaming at her customers, particularly Tanya who refused to give her full name stating” you don’t need to know”! We were locked out of our room for over an hour, the room key was injected into the lock, maintenance was called, his master key was also injected into the lock, only to be removed by pliers. Finally after missing our dinner reservations were they able to open the lock and allow us entry. Next day, locked out again 3 times from 3 rd floor, had to go back to the front desk to gain entry to our room. Tanya claims she emailed manager, no response, no reply toward any compensation. Than Tanya said, take it up with “Expedia”, it’s there problem! Unbelievable service, pool was filthy, no A/C, no lights working in restroom, disgusting floors, black with mold! Avoid this hotel at all costs!

I wish I had went with my instinct and paid the extra money to stay at the location we last stayed at when visiting this area. The staff was overall friendly and helpful but they cannot provide excellent service without support. The hotel was not adequately stocked with any items a guest would expect like coffee creamer and forks. Everything you needed was “waiting on a truck”. Yet everything’s was Sam’s brand. Seems like they knew it was a busy weekend for the event there, and they didn’t want to buy extra supplies. Corporate greed? They have employees living on site with their entire family including a boyfriend who seems to not leave for work. Which made me nervous about leaving anything in the room. Perhaps he had access to a master key or maybe she could make him a key to each room? The room was not clean. Spots on the toilet. Dried pee. Food under the bed. Then the 2nd night I noticed a distinct odor in the restroom. I grew up in a rural area, the smell could not be mistaken. It was a dead rodent in the walls. I assume they had put out poison and the mouse or rat went looking for water. And the smell got so bad we would almost vomit before we left. No sense in complaining. The employees couldn’t do anything about it. They made it clear. No other hotels in the area had any room. I checked. The towels did not smell clean. Neither did the bed linens. Almost smelled like they didn’t use detergent. Gross.

First, we were told to go to a particular room, 3rd floor. They only had one key available to create for us and told us they were out otherwise. Went up there and the key didn't work on the room. The room door was slightly ajar so we pushed on it and it was locked by the safety lock and someone was in there. Went down to fix problem. Confused look on the face of the clerk but she gave us another room and fixed the one key. Went back up to 3rd floor and this time, the new room was propped open by the safety lock. Once we were certain no one was inside, we were ok with the room but the overhead lights in the window area, the foyer area, and the overhead in the room did not work. Only bedside lamps worked. The thermostat was off and also didn't work, but the under window unit did. Slept ok. The breakfast was disgustjng. We had to leave. The juice dispenser had standing waste in the tray, trash was full, the sausage was green and the eggs were rubbery. We went onward and chalked it up to a bad experience, but not the worst we've ever had.

I called the hotel at 8:30pm to let them know I’d be checking in as late as 2:00am. When I arrived, earlier than expected, they didn’t have a room for me. My room was already paid in full. No help was offered to find a room for me at another hotel.

Had to ask front desk where plug ins were, had to get on my hands & knees to even see it, then there was only one! Opening my door was difficult, had to retry key fob at least 6x to get the door to open. Desk attendants were friendly and helpful. Other worker sat on his phone in front of a tv and only helped out when asked by the desk clerk. It was very clean tho

The lady at the front desk was amazing! She was super busy, and knew her stuff! Took great care of us! Room was clean and atmosphere was perfect! I would suggest staying here!

Upon checking in, the front desk clerk was no where to be found and I had to wait at least five minutes for her to show up at the front desk. She was very rude and abrupt with her check in questions. When she was finished with me she disappeared again and other guests came in and were left unattended. Not a very welcoming experience to the hotel.

Facility was clean and close to transportation. Shopping was in the vicinity. Many restaurants were available available.I

Wish the bed was a little bigger, but very clean hotel. And very nice staff. And walmart right across the street lol

Well situated for just about anything. The front desk clerk gave great suggestions.

Good location close to I-94, and best price I would find for what was offered. Quite a few restaurants nearby. Plenty of parking space.

It was ok. The staff was nice and the area seemed safe. There was plenty of parking. The hotel itself was a little run down; old carpet, older wall mounted acs... My wife did not like that.

Comfortable, close to restaurants, stores, and easy access onto the highway or interstate to get you on your way.

Terrible. If you are planning to stay here in order to avoid having to buy your family breakfast in the morning— don’t stay here. We paid $25 more for our room than we would have at other hotels in the area in order to not have to buy breakfast in the morning. The breakfast had no waffle batter for waffle irons, no fruit, no milk, no muffins or pastries, no milk for the cereal (after asking they DID bring out about enough milk for one bowl of cereal). Had to ask for sugar for coffee. 2 bagels total (no cream cheese tho which is fine because they were hard as rocks) and half a loaf of stale wheat bread. HOWEVER, oddly enough—- the 2 vending machines in the breakfast area were STOCKED fully. No ice. No water pressure for shower. Just—- save yourself the headache and book one of the other hotels in this exact same area. Response from management— very poor. I felt bad for the girl working the front desk—- she was as nice as she could be—-but, her management team isn’t providing her with the things needed to do her job. —- value your employees and don’t leave them to take the heat from unhappy guests. I’d have walked out if my management team falsely advertised a breakfast buffet— and I had to handle/assist the upset guests. It is unacceptable —- and pretty sad that management doesn’t care enough to fix It.

Honestly they should stop serving breakfast here and the South Bend location as well. I get it’s cheaper brand but most of the food is such low quality and stale, just reduce the price by $5 and skip breakfast.

Breakfast area needs cleaning. Debris (old pancake and other stuff) in the bottom of the hot tray for eggs and sausage.

The air conditioner was excellent (loud, but kept the room nice and cool). The room was pretty quiet, the beds comfortable, and we got good sleep. Unfortunately, we found two crushed cigarette butts under the coffee maker tray. The room had a strong smell of cleaning products that were likely used to cover up the smoke smell. The bed spreads were dirty, and one had a cigarette burn. The TV could not connect to WiFi, but we had lots of channels of cable programming. The soaps are tiny. The shower was decent. The breakfast area was very crowded, but the basic food was decent (cheese omelets, sausages, white and wheat bread, bagels, yogurt, cream cheese, bananas, cereal, juice, milk, coffee, and a waffle maker with fixings). Plenty of outdoor parking.

Not so clean bathrooms. Bathroom doors didn't lock. Breakfast was terrible
