After working all day then driving 4 hours. This is the worse Red Roof I’ve ever been in. The outside was not kept up. There was Huge holes in parking lot. Entered room and the smell of bug spray hit me in my throat. Proceed to go over the room as I do with all! First pulled the sheets back. Why do they put this even on beds. Stains on sheets and comforter. Then to pull all the way back to mattress that has stains all over! The room had lint and dirt in corners. Shower area was not cleaned. 1 of the towels had a huge stain. Needless to say stepped back out and brought front desk to room. Asked if he would sleep here. His reply was No. The bug spray smell flared my Asthma up. Moved to a Hotel ended up having to pay even more due to me getting on site last mint again to find a place to go. Peace while sleeping is important to me. Be careful if you stay there. I wouldn’t let the chickens outside stay there.

Let me start off by saying that the staff was really friendly, and we had no issues with them. The place was only about a 10 minute drive to lake Michigan so that was really nice. The room was dirty and had a strange smell to it. I went to make a bag of popcorn in the microwave, and the thing caught on fire luckily it went out as fast as it started, which is a good thing because the smoke detector never went off.

This was a $70 room at best not $170, which is what i paid. The bed was comfortable and there is a nice desk. Lots of dust. The bathroom was so poorly maintained, it was difficult to tell if it was clean or dirty. Ick. The facilities were filthy. Evidently, they haven't heard about power washers and paint. The trashcan was overflowing. Not only will i never stay there again, i will never stay at another Redroof.
This was a $70 room at best not $170, which is what i paid. The bed was comfortable and there is a nice desk. Lots of dust. The bathroom was so poorly maintained, it was difficult to tell if it was clean or dirty. Ick. The facilities were filthy. Evidently, they haven't heard about power washers and paint. The hotel is in need of upgrading. Yes there was building construction going on; however the rooms need upgrading also. The room smelled of smoke, the window curtains were old and had burn holes in them, the flooring was worn, stained and water damaged. The shower continued to run, could not turn off water all the way. Bath tiles were missing along the sides of the tub, tile below faucet was loose and covered in black mold, tub was stained, rusty and moldy. Shower curtain was stained, moldy, and had paint on it. The bedding was very thin, had holes, and stained; no blankets were provided, just a top sheet, older thin bedspread and then another bedspread on top. The platform bed did not hold the mattress in place, it kept sliding off.

Upon arrival, the entryway walk to the lobby smelled like marijuana. I walked into the lobby and was greeted with friendliness. He was to the point and had me checked in rather quickly. I drove around to get to my room and saw a pickup parking in the back that looked like it had been there for a while. It had been broken into and had flat tires. Maybe a police ram. It wasn't good. Liter and cigarette buds all over the ground. I was seriously rethinking this location choice. The previous reviews made it seem like a decent spot. I entered the room, and someone had been smoking in this nonsmoking room. It was very strong. There was dirt and build-up all over the floor. Crumbs in the sitting chair were very obvious. Walking up to the bed, I noticed that the duvet was soiled or stained, maybe, but it was gross. The white sheets were in the same condition but had hair all over them. It appeared like someone slept in it and made it back up. The bathroom sink was clean. I have stayed at some tremendous red-roof locations and love them, but this one was pretty rough.

The room was dirty, ketchup on the blow dryer, the mirrors were cloudy and the doors and door jams were filthy. I could see through the sheets and the blanket was super thin and did not keep me warm on a 5 degree night. There was a huge red stain on the chair. The bed was very uncomfortable, sunk down in the middle. I was up on and off all night and did not sleep well at all. The toilet seat was spongy and sticky. There were no tissues, very few towels, which were small. The shower was so old and outdated, I did not even shower. . . I just wanted to get the hell out of there!!

Typical Red Roof Inn. The room was clean and mostly comfortable. The TV was old and didn’t work very well and the bed was squeaky but pretty comfortable. Bathroom was clean and the overall experience here was good.

We had an unfortunate experience with an Airbnb place, and we had to leave in the middle of the night. It was very bad, and we are not picky. I was able to get right in with Red Roof Inn, and check in with ease and at 1:30 in the morning everyone was kind and courteous and helpful and empathetic.

The staff was kind and friendly! BUT, we changed rooms twice to supposed "non-smoking" rooms. Spraying a fresh scent doesn't fix the walls which absolutely reek of smoking! Either they need to fine smokers heavily for use of those rooms, which by the way they say they do, or not call them nonsmoking. It was horrible and difficult to sleep. We are double washing our clothes to hopefully remove the odor. Stay away from this place!

Let me start off by saying that the staff was really friendly, and we had no issues with them. The place was only about a 10 minute drive to lake Michigan so that was really nice. Upon arrival, the entryway walk to the lobby smelled like marijuana. I walked into the lobby and was greeted with friendliness. He was to the point and had me checked in rather quickly. I drove around to get to my room and saw a pickup parking in the back that looked like it had been there for a while. It had been broken into and had flat tires. Maybe a police ram. It wasn't good. Liter and cigarette buds all over the ground. I was seriously rethinking this location choice. The previous reviews made it seem like a decent spot. I entered the room, and someone had been smoking in this nonsmoking room. It was very strong. There was dirt and build-up all over the floor. Crumbs in the sitting chair were very obvious. Walking up to the bed, I noticed that the duvet was soiled or stained, maybe, but it was gross. The white sheets were in the same condition but had hair all over them. It appeared like someone slept in it and made it back up. The bathroom sink was clean. I have stayed at some tremendous red-roof locations and love them, but this one was pretty rough.
