The property is great but no signage or unloading area very easy to miss cause it looks just like the other Brownstones on the street but a very charming place to stay for sure

Nice property. All rooms at the location of the office. Front desk people were very nice and helpful. Elevator to all floors. Room was quite big with a separate living room area as well as separate bathroom from the bedroom. Bed was a Queen, which can feel small if you’re used to a King.

I think the hotel is upgrading their rooms and we just happened to get one that had not yet been upgraded. Although it was pretty comfortable, the carpet had several stains from spills that greeted you when you walked in. In addition there were some mechanical things that did not work and the legs of the coffee table were frayed from many battles with a vacuum cleaner. The front desk person was very helpful even though the front desk is in the basement. The continental breakfast was basic but the coffee/espresso machine was very nice. If you stay here, request a room that has been refurbished and also is not wrapped around the elevator shaft. It makes lots of noise every time someone uses it. The area is very close to the Back Bay train station and Prudential Center and a beautiful walking distance to Fenway Park.

The living area and bedroom were nice and very roomy. Bathroom is much too small and amenities were sparse. Kitchen was nice. Due to lack of parking and inability to use a cart, attempting to bring your personal items to and from your room was difficult.

I loved this Inn. It was so nicely decorated and the staff was wonderful. Tom the manager on the property was wonderful. The room had a queen bed, sitting area with a couch and 2 chairs as well as a small kitchen with a cook top, coffee maker and frig with freezer. Room was also equipped with a safe and luxurious bathrobes. No street parking overnight but many garages close by.

Our studio apartment was quiet, clean, and tastefully decorated. The inn is extremely well located for walking to many of Boston's major attractions and to excellent dining options. The kitchen in our studio unit was small but well equipped, quite adequate for a few days' stay.This is a no-contact facility: You're given key codes for main entrance and apartment doors. No problem for us, but I saw a couple of other people struggling to get in the front door. My major complaint is the somewhat rundown condition of our apartment and the public areas. Half the kitchen cabinets were missing handles--had to open them by grasping the end of the screw that had held the missing knob in place. There were what looked like bleach stains on the carpet of our apartment, down the hall, and in the elevator. Carpets generally looked to need a good cleaning if not replacing. There were some marks on the wall near the desk in our unit; could've used a little touch-up painting. These points weren't deal breakers for us, particularly given the reasonable room rate. Based on location and general cleanliness and privacy, we would return to the Inn at St. Botolph.

Proximity to great coffee shops, sites, shopping, and T were great. The accommodations could use some updating, even if it was replacing accent furniture with resale shop goods to save some money. Bathroom needs venting system to help mold in shower. The hard surfaced floors were sticky likely from cleaning products. Value, absolutely worth it. They have a good thing going if they can reinvest into the room fixtures and carpeting.

There is a lovely small lounge, nice assortment of coffees and teas, and continential breakfast options. The staff are super helpful and friendly. Room spacious. We had a 1 bedroom suite with a small kitchen. Everything you could wish for and a perfect Back Bay location.

Very nice hotel. I would stay again, but would request a room on Floor 2 or 3. Room 404 suffers from a very noisy generator (heat?water?) on the roof (4 floors total) and the volume of the machine made sleeping an almost impossible task.

Spacious room in a well located property. Good bathroom that was not spacious but efficiently laid out. Very good video array. Small but well designed kitchen. Walkable to all Back Bay features and well situated for public transportation. Ample breakfast perhaps best consumed in your suite.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Inn at St. Botolph. The suite was spacious and clean, and the location was incredible (walking distance to transit and key attractions). We are most appreciative to Jordin from the front desk who accommodated an early check-in for our very tired toddler. Her kindness made all the difference and we will be returning the next time we are in Boston.

The front desk staff was especially helpful as our travel plans changed during our stay due to a flight cancellation. Check in was super easy and we appreciated the amenities included in the room. Breakfast was included although the lounge area was crowded when we dined. Front desk was able to hold our luggage to accommodate our late flight. Fabulous restaurants and shopping within walking distance very nearby. Charming little boutique hotel!

Our unit needed to be refreshed. When we advised the front desk that we were locked out of our bathroom at 2 a.m. because the outside handle fell off, and that the shower had been dripping hot water since our arrival we were told by the clerk at the desk, "what do you want me to do, go home and get some tools and fix it". Not quite what one expects. We did say we could manage, but no effort was made to assist us or to do anything. Interestingly when I mentioned it again at check out a different clerk seemed not to know anything about it.

When I arrived there was no one available to open my door. The reception was closed. No one responded to ringing. No one picked up the phone. I ended up booking a different hotel.

The Inn at St. Botolph is very well located in a charming neighborhood near the Philharmonic, shops and Boylston Street. We'll happily return next time we visit Boston. Be aware, though, that the Inn could use a bit of updating and attention to cleaning. That said, the staff was friendly and helpful -- and we were very pleased with our stay.

Key code login in for the front door and room itself was very convenient. The room itself was clean, spacious and comfortable. The building was quiet and the neighborhood was very lovely and walkable. Dining and drinking options only 5 minutes away. The train station was a 10 minute walk, even less for the nearest subway.

Like the breakfast available in morning, wish it was open a bit earlier. Staff is very accomodating. Did not like late night noise from a nearby room. Like the space of the suites and kitchen area. Available free laundry a big plus.

Fantastic location, spacious rooms but could do with some more cooking utensils ..extremely comfortable bed and spotlessly clean. Tea/ coffee facility available till 9pm in reception lounge area for residents. A nice continental breakfast available from 7am. Variety of fruits, yogurts, bagels, juices. Water hydration station available to fill water bottles. Staff extremely helpful and polite . Had dealings with Jordin who was so helpful she dealt and solved an issue immediately for us. She was extremely helpful and so efficient in her role as a receptionist. Was also able to store our Luggage in the reception as we had a late flight home, this was a huge help and greatly appreciated facility.. Would highly recommend staying here.

There is a lovely small lounge, nice assortment of coffees and teas, and continential breakfast options. The staff are super helpful and friendly. Room spacious. We had a 1 bedroom suite with a small kitchen. Everything you could wish for and a perfect Back Bay location.

Spacious room in a well located property. Good bathroom that was not spacious but efficiently laid out. Very good video array. Small but well designed kitchen. Walkable to all Back Bay features and well situated for public transportation. Ample breakfast perhaps best consumed in your suite.

The front desk staff was especially helpful as our travel plans changed during our stay due to a flight cancellation. Check in was super easy and we appreciated the amenities included in the room. Breakfast was included although the lounge area was crowded when we dined. Front desk was able to hold our luggage to accommodate our late flight. Fabulous restaurants and shopping within walking distance very nearby. Charming little boutique hotel!

This was an amazing place. The room was magnificent, Thomas on reception was on hand with all our requests. Breakfast was great ( open kitchen area, self service) The hotel has a washing machine and tumble dryer. The location was very good. I would definitely stay here again.

Location was very convenient. Multiple restaurants to choose as well as local landmarks, such as Fenway Park and Copley square. Staff was extremely helpful, although much communication was digital rather than in person. But it was effective. We appreciated the continental breakfast especially the coffee. The Nespresso and Keurig choices were outstanding. Looking forward to our next visit.

This is a great option, a short walk to restaurants and shopping in Back Bay. The small suite was ideal for a couple, the breakfast was limited but still quite adequate (with an awesome coffee machine for barista-style brews), and a super-helpful staff rounded out this excellent spot.
