The hotel is located just outside West Brom, tucked down a side street away from traffic with a shop just across the way. There was plenty of parking in the secure car park. The room was slightly dated and seemed to be awaiting a refresh. Despite this, it was clean, warm (and not too hot), and had plenty of space. Staff were really friendly when we arrived, and continued to be attentive during our stay. Fresh towels were provided when required. Overall, a good place to stay, especially for the price.

Set within a decent looking neighbourhood & a huge car park, free as long as you enter reg details. Room was really clean & just right for a nights stay. Initially thought no tea/coffee making facilities but found them nestled in a cupboard. Decent pressure for shower. Was a little warm but felt couldn’t leave window open overnight as on ground floor with no retainer. That said a decent nights sleep & would recommend.

Same suite as before. The gym was a converted room with some dumbells, a rowing machine and an old treadmill but it got the job done. Good night's sleep. Fantastic shower more akin to a water massage and a good breakfast to start the day.

Room needed an update, clean, however, I stayed in a single room number 111 when I opened the door I was greeted with an overpowering smell of cigarette smoke. It wasn't great especially as i have allergies. I reported it to reception the next morning, they were very apologetic

Checked into the hotel yesterday and was given the room key. When I was walking through the corridor it smelled of of cigarettes. As I opened my room door, there was an intense sneeze of cigarettes and mould. I reached out to customer services at the website and was told that the hotel are willing to offer another room. I declined it because it had twin beds rather than a double bed. I was then informed by the customer service that the hotel will issue a refund after I talk to the reception. I went upstairs but the receptionist only asked if we're changing rooms or checking out, no other questions. I handed over the key and she said that she'd sort the rest out with the customer services. When I chased the customer services today regarding the refund they said the hotel has refused to issue any refund and are not answering any calls from the customer service. Worst experience ever, terrible customer service and unprofessional and rude staff. Totally regret booking them in.

The hotel was adequate for a room for one night, it's definitely in need of an update/refresh. The bath was stained and looked dirty (it wasn't actually dirty, just worn/scratched), some of the sealant was mouldy and when we arrived, I was informed that the attached pub/ restaurant weren't serving food, therefore if myself and my children wanted to eat we would have to order a takeaway from a food app. Breakfast was nice the following morning, lots of choice.

Quick and friendly check-in. Staff had mad up the sofa- bed for my son, which was really nice. They ordered a taxi for us to go to the venue in town and were very informative when I asked questions. Room was very overpriced and smelled a bit musty. Mould in shower and stains on duvet. The window frames were dirty and the whole hotel is in dire need of renovation.

Hotel on arrival looked great ,Friendly staff. Our room was very dated 1980s feel and two single beds pushed together to make a double not ideal as kept falling into the gap. Mattresses very hard too Got woken very early both days of stay .. contractors leaving for work etc A few tweaks and a lower price point would make this hotel better

Enjoyed our stay here whilst visiting family in Birmingham. Parking was easy and free. Room was very spacious with ample sleeping space. No irons in the rooms however there was an ironing room with a an iron and ironing board. Trouser presses are installed in the rooms. Overall we enjoyed our stay, check-in and out was effortless. Will definitely consider again.

Do not be put in 320, its next to the laundry room which houses the boiler or something similar, every few minutes it kicks in and a noisy fan starts rumbling away. First nights sleep was not so bad, but I had several alcoholic drinks, but last night I didnt sleep at all ir my wife, literally laying in bed counting down for it to start again. Rooms are old, one window wouldn't open as the mechanism was broken, lighting was not great as one tub light gone, felt small, dark and dingy, felt even worse as I only managed 4 hours sleep in 2 nights, so if sleeping is your preference I would avoid. Room definitely needs an upgrade. Breakfast isn't that great either to be honest I was hoping that would be the saving grace but sadly not

HEATING NOT WORKING IN ROOMS AND INSECTS IN THE BATHROOM Our family room was freezing due the hotel having a known problem with the heating (not working). We were provided with a portable heater which was not enough to warm up the room. We were promised a second heater by the gentleman on reception but this didn’t come. My wife and son caught a cold from sleeping in a freezing room and have been unwell all week following the stay. Small insects were coming in and out from under the worn seal next to the sink and hand towels in the bathroom. The hotel is dated and in need of repair/ modernisation. Service is terrible- logged a complaint when checking out on Sunday. Heard nothing so we rang the hotel on Thursday and were told by the general manager Jason that he was too busy to discuss and to email him instead. He acknowledged the email saying he was busy all day and would investigate and come back to us asap (Sunday afternoon and still not heard back!)

Can't really fault anything Only stayed for 1 night business trip so didnt see or do much ! Staff were helpful in getting a cab booked . Breakfast was good, staff were friendly. Very clean overall

The hotel is located just outside West Brom, tucked down a side street away from traffic with a shop just across the way. There was plenty of parking in the secure car park. The room was slightly dated and seemed to be awaiting a refresh. Despite this, it was clean, warm (and not too hot), and had plenty of space. Staff were really friendly when we arrived, and continued to be attentive during our stay. Fresh towels were provided when required. Overall, a good place to stay, especially for the price.

Set within a decent looking neighbourhood & a huge car park, free as long as you enter reg details. Room was really clean & just right for a nights stay. Initially thought no tea/coffee making facilities but found them nestled in a cupboard. Decent pressure for shower. Was a little warm but felt couldn’t leave window open overnight as on ground floor with no retainer. That said a decent nights sleep & would recommend.

The staff were very courteous and helpful and provided a good fan to help me getting sleep without feeling too warm. The setting for the hotel is in a residential area and I didn't have to go too far to find a lovely riverside walk next to the Tam. My room was quite spacious and I liked the vanity mirror set up in the bathroom. Breakfast was a lovely dining experience to get the day off to the right start. I would certainly look to book here again

All the staff were really friendly and helpful. Very nice atmosphere. The room was clean and comfortable. The food at breakfast was really nice. The bar meal in the evening was pretty poor so I’d advise not eating there in the evening but everything else was very good.

One night stay, good night sleep in comfy bed, room is a good size, clean and tidy but a bit dated. Staff are polite and welcoming, restaurant serves good food and cold beer. I would stay at this hotel again if working on the area.

The hotel was adequate for a room for one night, it's definitely in need of an update/refresh. The bath was stained and looked dirty (it wasn't actually dirty, just worn/scratched), some of the sealant was mouldy and when we arrived, I was informed that the attached pub/ restaurant weren't serving food, therefore if myself and my children wanted to eat we would have to order a takeaway from a food app. Breakfast was nice the following morning, lots of choice.

Nothing was too much trouble for any member of staff who all would go out of their way to accommodate any requests. The room was neat and tidy with all the usual facilities for hotels of this type. Also the food was excellent from the fresh and plentiful breakfasts to the home-cooked cuisine on offer in the Oak Bar in the evenings. Parking was plentiful and the location is near to major transport links. The hotel is set within a nice, quiet residential area which was ideal for my needs as I was able to read documentation and write reports in my room. I will definitely stay there again if my work takes me back to the north Birmingham area. An excellent stay and I heartily recommend it!

The photos on the website make it look amazing but when arrived it looks run down the hallways and bedroom smelt musty, toilet seat broken, and when having drink in the bar I asked for hot chocolate and was told they don’t have it even thou they list it and couldn’t have tea or coffee as the machine was off and took too long to heat up which isn’t the end of the world but when asked for menu for food we were then told they don’t do evening food at weekends which was stated to us when booking the only thing that was ok was the breakfast

We were very Disappointed that that the restaurant was not open at the hotel, it was advertised that there was a restaurant but we only found out when we arrived that the restaurant would not be opened, we had to go out and find a restaurant to get something to eat which cost us to get to a restaurant, it wasn't good for my wife because she had a sore hip

Same suite as before. The gym was a converted room with some dumbells, a rowing machine and an old treadmill but it got the job done. Good night's sleep. Fantastic shower more akin to a water massage and a good breakfast to start the day.

This hotel was in a quiet location. The staff were really helpful. There wasn't a fridge in the room and I had some medication that needed storing in the fridge, so they stored it in the kitchen fridge and bought it to metas required.. The decor is a little 'tired' but it wasn't a problem. Air conditioning was not available but the windows opened quite far, which helped.
