This stay was far less than ideal. Having to dodge water dripping within the pool area while watching my kids swim was ridiculous. This should be noticed provided informing of closures (i.e., fitness room) as some people seek out this amenity when choosing a hotel. There were so many hairs found within the bathtub that it looked like it was never cleaned. Overall appearance was not appealing whatsoever. Would certainly never stay there again. Very disappointed.

The property, main areas, and room were SPOTLESS! The reception upon arrival was VERY friendly and helpful. The people working at the breakfast area were amazing, helpful, clean, organized and lots of variety offered for breakfast. Love the 24 hr coffee/tea station. The bed was super comfy and the room was VERY spacious. Only ONE suggestion for improvement: the fitness room has great equipment albeit smells VERY moldy. Noted 2 large water stains on the ceiling. This issue should be resolved. Would definitely return again to this property!

The location is convenient being right off I_81 near gas, food, and Walmart. It was very quiet and clean. An excellent Hampton experience. Microwave, frig, breakfast, and fitness center.

The property is a bit "dated" but the staff where very helpful and nice. Do not use the vending machines. One machine did not work and the other took my money and I was unable to get a refund. Many people have been complaining about the scammy vending machines.

We loved the pillows , room was as described and clean! Pool was gross, had 2 , two year olds and I was grossed out with the amount Of yuck I could see float around me! I had to get out and take my grandson with me! We had come to fort drum for a conference and were looking forward to our little bit of time with the children ! Was definitely a huge disappointment!

We loveee staying at the Hampton when we come over for some cross border shopping. Pool is great for the kids, staff are super friendly and breakfast is a huge bonus !! Will be back…. Eventually !

Our room was dirty. We had hair all over our bathroom, our chair had a weird stain on it and the beds were extremely uncomfortable. The staff was nice but they definitely didn’t clean our room. I am not one to complain but next year we will be booking somewhere else. Outside was beautiful and clean. The two men at the desk were wonderful to us. We loved them and Breakfast was good but Pool cut my son foot in the shallow end and the gross rooms it’s not a place I would recommend.

This property was everything you would expect from a Hampton. Very Clean. Only a couple issues, the elevator swayed back and fourth when getting to the third floor, even with only one small person on it. The staff wouldn’t allow my 15 year old to buy a candy from the front desk, which meant at night after I was already in my pajamas I had to go down to the lobby to allow my 15 year old to use cash to buy a snack. It was ridiculous and not family friendly.

Cleaning could be improved. Don’t like the smell when you come in the main entrance. It smell like something old or not well-ventilated, almost mildew. Pool is not really clean theres like a brownish colour all around the inside or the pool. Mildew up the ceiling where the shower is. I have never been to a motel where you can BARELY take a normal shower. There is NO pressure at all. Takes forever to take a decent shower. Calle the help desk to complain and hime answered there wasn’t much he could do. Almost felt like in the 70’s. Will not return. I will pay the extra dollars and go To A Hilton

Room had a strong musty smell. Shower curtain wouldn’t stay closed because shower rod isn’t bolted into wall tightly (wobbles up and down), floor around toilet had urine not cleaned up and flushing the toilet was usually loud

The bathroom was not the cleanest. There was hairs in the tub. Some kind of splatter under the toilet and the shower door had some build up around the frame. Otherwise the room was ok. However, both nights that we stayed the room phone kept ringing at 2 am. When we would pick up, there was no one there.

The staff was friendly and engaging! Kudos to Jim at the Front Desk for being so welcoming and pleasant when we arrived. The room was quiet and restful. The bedding was firm and comfortable.

I always stay at Hampton Inns and am usually very happy. This time, the thermostat and air conditioning in my room weren't working. Even after maintenance came and "fixed it", it didn't work. By then it was late, so I let it go. But I spent a very hot night and slept little.

It was a terrible night. The Air conditioner was broken and I sweated through the night. At 10pm a serviceman came and rebooted the room's A/C. It then worked for 20 min and then went out again. The fan was on all night but no cold.air. Terrible and unacceptable at these prices!

Room and hotel was clean. The morning desk clerk was rude as I had asked how I could receive my points from a previous stay at Hampton Inn just a few nights before. He informed me in a condescending tone that I was not eligible for points since I did not book directly thru Hampton. So my next stop I booked a Choice Hotel for 2 nights. Comfort Inn and Suites. I have to say it was a better all around experience and equal quality and price as a hamton Inn.

There were some cleanliness and upkeep issues with my room. The shower curtain was ripped and couldn’t keep the water in. The fridge froze our food. Some areas were not as clean as I would like. Not deal breakers but I did mention it as I was leaving. The person at the front desk did not care at all. Just said that was a housekeeping issue. Didn’t apologize, nothing. I wouldn’t have written this at all if he had acted like it mattered to him AT ALL. In contrast the girl when we checked in was excellent.

Checked in during a bad snowstorm that forced me and hundreds of others off the road. Staff was clearly overwhelmed but handled it very professionally and well. They were accommodating to any needs we had. Special shout out to their maintenance staff who were working all night to keep the floors clean and dry!

We have stayed at this property many times. The property is very clean and well maintained. Staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast is excellent. The location is excellent, just off of Arsenal Street. It is easy to get to all the shopping and restaurants on Arsenal.

We just stayed one night for a cross-border shopping trip. While Watertown isn't the most exciting place to be, it was much cheaper than nearby Syracuse and they had all the things we needed for this trip. The hotel was clean, easy to find, comfy bed, friendly staff. Free parking is always nice. We opted to walk to dinner, since we were consuming alcohol. I guess no one else does that, as the sidewalks were fragmented and it was not a pedestrian friendly area at all.

This is the second time that we have stayed at this property. The property is very clean and safe which is extremely important to us. There are numerous restaurants and food choices in the area. The location is also great. My only recommendation we have is an expansion of the breakfast food options for increased consideration for those who do not eat pork/ham. The western omelet and maple bacon limits the hot food options greatly to just potatoes.
