Nice hotel for the area, definitely on the smaller side. The front desk was intermittently left unattended but if you stood there they would eventually come up. The pool was really clean and heated. The “convenience” store lacked variety and was underwhelming.. We ended up just going to Wawa. Good distance from a few chain restaurants. Would stay again.

We were really impressed with the overall quality of this hotel. The room was exceptionally clean and the beds and pillows were very comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast room offered a nice variety of choices, and the warm cinnamon rolls were so good! The entire hotel was well appointed, and well-maintained. The pool was small, but very nice. We would definitely stay here again!

The bed was not properly cleaned. Seemed they used the same sheets from prior guests. I brought my concern to the front desk, and they quickly changed my room. Hotel is ok to get in and out. Breakfast was ok. Staff was nice.

I went to check in a little early and said there were no rooms available. It wasn't a problem, I waited and sat down. Only to see two new customers go to check-in counter and be checked in! I went into the elevator and the floor was soaked with coffee, and all they way through the lobby. The lobby area floor looked like it hadnt been washed and had food stuck to the tile. The room carpet was not cleaned. Overall stay was very unsatifactory.

Cleaning staff did not replenish tissues.box empty x 3 days. Didnt vacuum corners or wipe surfaces. Kind of a hit and run cleaning attitude. Beds were not good. Breakfast was decent but nothing wonderful. Would pass on this if in the area again. Traffic noise is terrible.

The property is right next to the highway and is noisy. The room we were first given was not clean. There was hair on the bed and some of the lights in the room did not work. The pool was closed and drained and there was construction going on after 8:00pm.

Our first room smelled like smoke so we requested another . It wasn’t a problem but our second room wasn’t great. AC was spotty (it was so hot in the hotel in December we needed it) , pull out bed was a disgrace - broken and horribly uncomfortable, and main bed sunk down considerably in the middle. We were on the second floor and I could hear conversations in the middle of the night in the lobby due to an open air vestibule that looked down on the lobby. Do NOT recommend !!!

Our stay at the Holiday Inn Express in West Chester was really great! All the front desk staff members were personable, helpful, and knowledgeable. Our room was clean and was serviced promptly and thoroughly. We had all the conveniences we needed...plenty of hooks, storage, and luggage spots...and the bathroom was well-apportioned with shampoo, conditioner, hand soap, body soap, body lotion, and plenty of linens. Our room was on the 3rd floor right next to the elevator which concerned us, but we heard absolutely NO NOISE from it at all. :) Breakfast was delicious; the coffee was great; we loved the pancake machine. The only suggestion, and the only reason for 4 not 5 stars, is to provide pillows of varying support. We had 4 large bed pillows, but they were all very very soft and did not provide enough support for me, a side-sleeper. Since there are 4 pillows, it would be great for some to be soft and some to be firmer.

The heat didn’t work in our room! Contacted front desk and the person could fix it and told us it didn’t work! We had to sleep in a cold room all night. Ask the front desk to just my bill and he couldn’t said the manager will be in the next day. Unacceptable, even thought we stayed for 1 night

The place was very clean but the bed was so hard I felt like I was sleeping on a piece of wood. There were people running up and down the halls at midnight. Someone banged on our door and tried to open it around midnight. I would never stay here again

I would like to commend Brittany assisrant GM from the front desk, what an exceptional customer service, she help us change our room and even called me back to update us while we were out. She went above and beyond. The breakfast buffet is not good, no meat, food was barely warm and when the pancake machine run out of batter, the guy couldnt figure out how to replace it.

We arrived late and had friendly check-in. The weather was terrible (rainy). We were in town for a sport clinic at WCU... they were able to accommodate a late check out so we could come back and shower after the clinic, which was so appreciated

The girl at the front desk, Shay, was friendly and helpful. She reccomended a restaurant and chit chatted with us as we went out or came back through our stay. Asked how our outing was etc. Seemed generally interested in My friend and I always stay at Holiday Day Inn Express if we can find one near where we are visiting.

Front desk people were friendly, rooms were clean, hotel was quiet, bathroom was well stocked- what else can you ask for?? Very close to restaurants and shopping. Not far from colleges, if you need a place to stay while doing a college tour with your kids. We would stay here again if we were in the area.
