Hotel was clean, comfortable. The only negative thing is that at check out, they charged us $14.00 for parking. We had not expected that and we have NEVER paid for parking. They told us it was because we booked through Expedia and parking was not included! We checked in at 11 pm and we were out by 8 am, but we were still charged to park in their lot for 9 hours!

It was very convenient for our appointments at Mayo Clinic! The hotel is very nice, well kept, great staff, bar and music guitar entertainment in evening. Very nice spread for free breakfast each day. A great place to stay especially if you must be at Mayo.

Best choice if you are going to Mayo Clinic. They have a shuttle to the 3 Mayo building which made the whole process so much easier. Nice gym and pool. Great breakfast.

The hotel is fine but charging $14 extra to park in their lot is pathetic. This is not located in a city where property is at a premium it's in the desert!!

I liked the extra space in the patio around the pool, including a fire pit and comfortable seating. The pool had some cabanah or cover options over the pool furniture, which is great. I didn't like not being informed of the $15/night parking fee, which was never communicated properly to me. Otherwise, very nice stay and hotel all around.

Reported to staff room had dried vomit on wall and head board. I also have pictures. Dried mucous on wall too. They did not clean had to ask second time. First staff member instructed to notify manager. Manager unavailable. After 3rd call staff came up to clean and scrap off wall. Beware. Of course no discount or refund due to this and hotel. Room was dirty. No lotion or anything stocked on counters, shower was dirty and had hair in it. The cabinets and couch had filthy splatters. The bed was comfortable but we couldn’t believe the condition of a room so close to Mayo Clinic. People start there during treatments and in would expect cleanliness.

Melinda is the manager of the property and was okay with the way our room looked. There was hair every where, no vacuuming for the WEEK we stayed there. We complained every day with nothing done! If you want dirty this is your place if you want clean STTAY SOMEWHERE ELSE

I’ve stayed here before and it was great, this second time was alright. The first room we got into the air conditioning didn’t work. It’s the beginning of July so it was 112 degrees. We waited almost two hours to get a new room. The pull out couch was not sleep able. It was too uncomfortable to sleep my mom had to share the bed with me. Other than that the hotel was nice.

The hotel was in the process of being remodeled with the doors open so the lobby was a bit warm. This was my third stay at this hotel so that didn't bother me. Rooms are nice with a kitchenette that was convenient. The elevator is really, really slow. Overall we enjoy the stay and will stay again on our next trip.

I had reserved an accessible room but there was only 1 grab bar in the bathroom and I felt the shower in the tub was not very safe. I could not adjust the ac very well and it really blew hard and was very noisy. The room was very nice and the kitchen will come in handy on our next stay. The young lady who check me in was great. I forgot to get her name. It was nice to learn that dinner and other foods are served there later in the day.

At about 7pm, we returned to the room from dinner. I was excited to have a few beverages and watch the nfl game on television, while my wife went to sleep. She is a mayo patient and very tired in the evenings. I tried everything imaginable to get the TV on with no luck. I called the front desk. After 20+ rings, someone answered. I explained the situation to her. The response was to try and unplug it and turn back on, followed with - I don't know what you want me to do? I asked that she send someone up to look at it. She said no repair people were on site, but she could send a wait staff up. Not knowing what that meant, I said ok. 8:30p and still nobody showed. Called the desk again, 30 rings this time with no answer. Extremely disappointed that no effort was made to change rooms, switch TVs or anything. More of a, better luck next time reactivate approach. Additionally, we were charged $14 for parking and that was never disclosed on this hotels.com app or during check in at hotel.

We met a young man, Pierce, who made our stay very pleasant he was polite, informative, and went the extra minute to make our stay more comfortable. The breakfast staff were helpful and there was plenty of attention to cleanliness and keeping things stocked. Check in and out were excellent. My husband is employed by Ritz Carlton/Marriott and was so proud of the standards upheld by this Residence Inn

We srayed here simply because it was the closest hotel we could find to get to our destination the next day. We greatly appreciate the folks at the front desk, management and staff who made our stay comfortable and easy. We highly recommend this hotel. It's clean and quiet.

A tired property. Being renovated, I guess, but slowly. That wasn’t mentioned in the description. Parking fee not mentioned either. Staff was very nice, though sometimes hard to locate. Short handed, in other words. If not for the convenience to Mayo, I would not have kept the reservation.

I nice hotel for someone or a family being treated at the Phoenix Mayo Clinic. The front desk staff was average due to them yelling and and joking. They have very little training when compared to nicer hotels. Could definitely improve front desk customer service. There was construction going on during our stay which made getting around challenging. For the money of $325 which included taxes, I would say it was way overpriced. Only because it was the closest hotel to Mayo would I recommend staying there for this price. Average hotel, awesome location next to the hospital. Mayo’s staff volunteered to bring my wife to the hotel on one of their hot carts. The hotel staff never even considered asking or offering. Just a young, untrained staff. Marriott, you can do better.

My wife had 3 appointments at Mayo clinic so on a whim, we got a room. Dana was so nice to accomodate us since it was early in the morning. They were able to shuttle us to all of our appointments and back again. We sincerely appreciate Dana and all the staff for going above and beyond. Thank you so much.

Also the fact they want to charge you to park there when there is parking all around. We were there due to a visit to Mayo and could park 50 feet from hotel. Breakfast items limited, coffee, after drinking, had sludge in bottom of cup. Watched attendant take a tray to trash, take the napkins off the tray and place them on top of the new,unused napkin dispenser. Makes you wonder what else is reused. Why a parking charge? You pay $14 a nite on top off the room charges?
