I loved this beautiful property and the convenient location right in the heart of everything. The breakfast was good in a beautiful, spacious location, with eggs, meat, cheeses, and bakery items. Our room was beautiful but was around a lot of corners and up and down stairs; the elevator did not go to our floor. We took the elevator and then had to walk down or up stairs to get to our floor. There was no view, and there was a slight musty smell in the room—only slight, but present. We did not ask to move rooms, so that is on us. Water was provided free each day, and there was a refrigerator. The bed and pillows were comfy after a long day of touring and walking around. The staff were courteous and helpful. There was a laundromat around the corner from the hotel, which was convenient for us since we were on a three week sojourn using carryon luggage. We were able to put laundry in the washer and then walk around the area shopping, eating gelato, or sitting by Santa Croce church. I found my favorite pottery lady only 4 doors down from the laundromat, which was fabulous. I definitely would stay there again. PS. There’s a nice leather shop, Lorenzo’s, across the street towards Piazza Della Signoria.

We stayed six wonderful days in this beautiful hotel. We ate dinner at its restaurant once, and the four of us loved the food. Every day we had a glass of wine at the lovely bar, met the friendly servers as well as other travelers. We stepped out the door every morning and were just steps away from the Duomo and Da Vinci museum and stores and fun outdoor places to eat. Real linen bedding! Chocolates on our pillows!

This is a true 5 star hotel. Beautiful interior, clean and service oriented. The location is perfect for walking to see the Statue of David and Ponte Vecchio. Shops, restaurants, statues and Cathedrals are abundant in this area. There was parking for our rental car and the stay was just perfect. I would highly recommend!

Très bon choix pour visiter Florence. Ville magnifique. A voir ! L’emplacement est vraiment TOP ! Tout est accessible à pied et pas loin. Bon rapport qualité prix par rapport aux autres établissements 5*. Personnels agréables et professionnels. Breakfast complet dans la moyenne des buffets qu’on trouve en Italie. Chambre agréable avec vue sur les toits et calme. Service valet parking 45€ la nuit. Attention à l’arrivée en voiture , le GPS (Waze & Google map) se trompe et vous emmène dans une impasse. Un peu stressant car en zone ZTL piétonne avec beaucoup de monde. Bien étudier le parcours avant ou demander à l’hôtel de l’aide.

Excellent location in the middle of town center and very friendly staff, very clean and rooms were spacious,but..., although there is a lif, it does not reach all floors,, the 3rd floor only reachablevia steps from 2nd or 4th floor, all other floors also there is some steps to reach the rooms. Not a wheelchairfriendly.at all. This needs to be highlighted in expedia before booking .,

Definitely not a 5 star hotel or experience. Bathroom hadn’t been cleaned properly - pubic hair on the floor and a discarded toenail on the edge of the bath. Had to ask for replacement shower gel, conditioner and loo roll. Seal at base of shower door needed replacing. Coffee provided in room temperature as Nescafé sachets. The relationship between keycard and room lights was incomprehensible- lights randomly switched off. Coffee provided at breakfast was really weak - top tip is to request strong coffee! Location is very central and excellent. All major sights max 20 - 30 min walk

This hotel is in a great location. The staff were very nice. The room was spacious and bathroom was big and modern with double sinks and lots of counter space, but there were no drawers in the bedroom except in the two tiny nightstands . The closet is a wardrobe with a shelf across the top to put some clothes on. We had to leave a lot of clothes in our suitcase. Good air conditioning and breakfast.

Excellent location for tourism (and safe for a solo female), friendly and helpful staff, very clean, lovely foyer/bar area. My queen bed room was fine for one but would be quite small for two, and bathroom was spacious with bath and shower over. Everything worked, but there was not enough space to put things ... insufficient hanging space in wardrobe, only one shelf and no chest of drawers, no chairs.

The location was perfect and within walking distance to everything we wanted. Service was excellent. The only issue was the noise. Our room was right next to the dining room/kitchen so all we could hear were the stacking of plates and the constant noise from the dishes/cooking. The smell of the food and coffee was also very strong in our room.

Hotel was decent but felt underwhelming for our honeymoon stay in Florence. We booked a superior room but we were put in the very back of the hotel and our window faced a dark alley. What an amazing place, from the building to the staff! The hotel is beautiful and located within walking distance of many attractions. The service was the best I've ever experienced in any property. The breakfast buffet was excellent, and the one dinner we ate at the Bernini Palace was very good. My only small complaint is that the basic double room was fairly cramped – we would opt for a larger room the next time we visit. Highly recommended!

The staff are excellent. Special mention to LORENZO who did an extra mile of service for us as he helped us find a shop for an authentic leather jacket and jewelry. He looked for us amongst the crowd at the square to update us on the status of the store that he recommended for jewelry. He also directed us in person to the leather store and introduced us to the store manager. I haven't seen s front desk person do that to me in any of the hotels i stayed in , even at the Bellagio and other 5 star hotels in Las Vegas. The Bernini hotel treated us like royalty. They also prepared the bed for us prior to bedtime. They seem to know when we're out and time the bedtime prep prior to our arrival. I highly recommend this hotel.

We had an amazing stay at the Bernini Palace. Lorenzo was the absolute best!!! He helped to make our stay so special, and checked in on us throughout our time there. Location is good, however it is Florence most lodging is close to anywhere you want to go. The overall condition of the hotel experience is not 5 star, thus not justifying the price. My major complaint was the staff at the desk. This was not and isolated employee as I dealt with different attendants. As we arrived we were asked what we were going to do, I said firstly we will go next door to the Bargello. The employee said I can call for you to see if there are tickets available. I said fine he did book them for the cost of the tickets and I gave him a tip. He said you pay as a room charge upon check out. Very typical situation. However open checking out it was demanded that we pay the fee in cash and surprise 10 extra Euro for calling. We were on our way to the airport out of country and did not have anymore Euros. I have never had a legitimate service at such a hotel demand side cash. They held our luggage and demand I go pull cash in 41c temps. Tired of fighting I did to get the cash but promised this review. The "concierge" service appears to be a sleazy side hustle by the staff. The entire situation was not honest and aggressive.

The Bernini didn't miss a beat during our two stays in late September. Compliments to the General Manager, Concierge, Front desk staff, Bar& Restarurant staff, Housekeeping who all exhibited highly professional and welcoming performance. The location of the Bernini is perfect, in the center of the city of Florence within walking distance of most key sites, many varied cafes & restaurants, and many shopping opportunities.

We truly loved our stay at Bernini Palace. The service was exceptional. The staff at the front desk were always ready to assist with directions, recommendations and reservations. Truly a pleasure. The daily breakfast buffet was just excellent. So much variety and beautifully presented. The rooms were just stunning. The decor and service levels added to the enjoyment of our stay in Florence. The hotel location was wonderful. Close to everything to see, just walk out of the hotel, and within a few minutes, you are at all the top sites. The staff was great, and helpful in every way. Rooms are very nice and facilities top of the line.

Excellent hotel and stay. We had a very nice welcoming and an informative presentation of the room. Staff was efficient and friendly. Room beautiful and quite spacious, bathroom as well. Breakfast good, while not fantastic. Hotel is perfectly located, with a few minutes walk to all the sights.
