I wish they'd get the hot tub fixed. I guess most people don't care, but this is an amenity I look forward to. This was the second time we had stayed there with the two stays separated by about two months, and both times they said they were "waiting for a part."

Great parking, friendly staff, decent breakfast. Only complaints are the thermostat on the hot tub was faulty so it wasn't hot - they said the part was on order to fix, and the water in the shower was just warm on 3 occasions and either wouldn't get hot or started out hot and then turned luke warm. Otherwise was a great stay.

Room smelt like weed but was overall clean besides the pair of shoes left in a drawer from previous guest. Hot tub was broken which is unfortunate as that was the main reason I picked this location for the indoor pool/hot tub combo.

We stay here twice a year. It is very convenient to stay here the nights before we drop off and pick up our son at the The Triple R Ranch. The staff are always super nice. The breakfast is good enough. And the hot tub by the pool is super awesome!

Check in was a breeze. We were 15 minutes from our NYE destination. The staff is wonderful. Breakfast at the Hampton inns are always good. My only qualm is that the breakfast is not always ready at the 6:00 a.m time as advertised and the interior could use a good deep cleaning. The pool was wonderful, heated and clean! Definitely recommend!

Everything was good, except the first room we were in had mold in the bathroom due to no ventilation and the tile peeling due to water damage. We smelled it as soon as we walked in. Due to the hotel being full, we weren't able to change rooms until our last night. Thanks to the staff for accommodating us. If you ever stay at this hotel, DO NOT stay in room 324 (a King Suite) unless it's been repaired and the mold in the bathroom is gone.

We arrived at the hotel midnight, room was dirty there was a used towel hanging in the bathroom door, bedding was obviously not changed but just tidy up there was hair on the pillow and under the comforter, sofa bed linen full of brown stain, there was trash in the trash can. Surrounding very dusty. We called from desk about problem she sent somebody and the guy was caught off guard to find out the problem obviously he jas no idea he said they told him just bring some blanket he just got clock inn for the shift he was so embarrassed and apologetic we help him change all the linens. How ever the front desk shows no care I even went to the front desk in the morning and explain the promblem the response I got was jus ok. Didn't even apologized or anything just ok showed no cares as well. Very terrible experience.

Our check in took too long, for a young man at the front desk was new, and trying to resolve an issue with the guests in front of us. He kept having to leave to seek assistance. In the meantime a line of guests had forned. After 15 minutes, finally, another representative came out to assist guests. When we arrived toour room, the mattresses were thin and worn out. Our sleep was not comfortable.

I was very disappointed in this hotel. I've generally had very good experiences at Hampton Inn hotels. I'm not expecting anything like the Four Seasons, but I'm also not expecting it to look and feel like a Motel 6 or Super 8.Unfortunately, this Hampton Inn had far too much in common with both of those. I was actually very impressed with the service. When I walked in, I was greeted by two people who was extremely nice and polite. I also forgot my key card at one point, and one of those people quickly gave me a new one. The problem with this hotel (at least in my experience from staying there for two nights) is that it looks like it hasn't been updated in 30-40 years. The room I stayed in was small, cramped, and the carpet was very old. The faucet barely worked. The toilet would make loud noises all night long so that I had to close the bathroom door in order to not be woken up. There is virtually no soundproofing, so every noise from the hallway is heard very clearly. The parking lot has a chain-link fence surrounding part of it. This hotel is owned by Hilton. Hilton is a $54 Billion company. They absolutely have the means to make this hotel look much better, so until that happens I would not recommend staying here.

We got there at 11pm, exhausted after a long drive. The nonsmoking room smelled like smoke. It was 78° in the room, so my husband turned on the a/c and set it at 67°. We quickly got ready for bed. At 3am I woke up in a sweat. It was still 78°. I checked, and it was set to cool and air was coming out, but it was not cold at all. If my husband had been awake I would have suggested we switch rooms, but since he was sleeping, I let it go. We both mentioned it to the front desk the next morning. We got an apology and they asked if we were Hilton members. That was it. Breakfast: there were no serving utensils. There was a sign for Mexican omelets, but no omelets. The same for oatmeal. The sausage was questionable, and my husband was afraid to eat the hardboiled eggs. The coffee in the lobby was good and the bed was comfortable. The night front desk clerk was nice, but difficult to understand because he didn’t enunciate. I guess $111 gets you the same stay that $40 got you pre-COVID.

The staff is excellent at the Hampton Inn-Suites Chesapeake Battlefield Blvd. They will go out of their way to listen to your concerns and make you feel welcome. There are also many dining options located in walking distances from the Hampton Inn. You will not be disappointed. The atmosphere at the Hampton-Inn Chesapeake Battlefield is very comfortable. Breakfast is served in the mornings and coffee is available in the lobby all day long.

Arrived on Thursday, by Saturday , came in at 2:00pm. No Clean Towels,washcloths,trash baskets were not emptied,Bed linings were not changed or made up. Went to front desk for room to get towels washcloths ect. for room service, said they would take care of it. waited a hour and told them again. We went back out and came back in at 7:30pm. Nothing was Done! Paid for this service! Checked out early Sunday Morning! Will not be back!!

I traveled from Northern Maryland to VA for a grandsons birthday party. The hotel was way to find. The room was great. The experience was ok. I arrived at 715 pm once I entered the hotel the receptionist was not present I waited for about 7 minutes and she finally showed up on her phone in slippers,not professional at all. She checked me in and assigned my room. Went to my room and it was already occupied. Went back to the desk and she said she does not know how that happened. She was going to put me in the room beside that room but I asked if I could be in a room not texted to children. She said most of the rooms had children in it. She put me on a different floor after all the rooms are filled. Once I got to the second floor it smelled straight up of pool water. The rest was very good. The breakfast was incredibly delicious. We will return again.

Evening staff with the exception of the manager on our first night were unprofessional. Folks at the desk overall were unprofessional. We arrived at 8 pm to check in and our room was not only not ready, but the bedding was stripped from the beds and the beds and bath were covered with towels. One of the couch cushions was completely ripped off the bed. Spa was also closed down and pool looked like it was having issues as well. I'd look elsewhere.
