SpringHill Suites Hartford Airport/Windsor Locks

This was a bad experience overall.

Breakfast was ok

The hotel was clean and smelled nice and the first night was nice. HOWEVER, the second night as an absolute disaster. We were woken up by people knocking on our door repeatedly and running away at 10:50pm. Loud music was playing well past 1am. Doors were slamming every 5 minutes for 3 hours straight. The noise in the hallway was obnoxious. The heavy smell of marijuana was throughout the hallway very strongly at night when I went downstairs to complain about the noise and smell, so much that it still smelled it the morning. The person at the main desk assured me on the 11pm phone call that he would check the noise level and end it. When it continued past midnight I actually got out of bed and went downstairs and he told me he checked but ‘saw nothing’. I asked him about the noise policy and he said ‘10pm on Saturday’ hesitantly, knowing full well it was after midnight at that point. The noise continued and nothing changed. I had a 5am wake up the next day after getting minimal sleep. This was a disaster and I will never stay there again.

The room was nice but the door handle to the bathroom was broken and we could hear every door open and close repeatedly (there was a softball tournament and a wedding). Our beds were not made up nor our linens replaced.

Our last night was the worst. Noise all night by young kids using the N word and make noise like they had a party or something in the room. Could not get any sleep at all. Called the front desk several times and nothing was done. People are tailgating outside the hotel using up the pool couldn’t even take a swim. It was horrible.
