I picked this holiday inn because it has a pool and hot tub. The hot is not working. We asked the lady at the front desk she said she did not know about hot tub because she had not been in pool area in a year. One of the doors to get into the pool room was not working. Out of order signs on water fountain in pool room and ice maker on 3rd floor. The shade in our room was not working and no wash clothes in our room. No hair conditioner or lotion in our bathroom. One regular coffee in room. This is the worst holiday inn I have stayed in.

The pet fee was very high. The room didn’t smell good. The door to the employee work room was open that we could see workers hanging out in the not-so-nice room. The pool and jacuzzi were “closed until further notice.

The room we were in at this hotel was very clean, and breakfast was available in the morning and was very good. The pool was strongly chlorinated but very cloudy and there were no towels available in the pool area. When we arrived there was a party, complete with loud music and alot of people, nearby the entrance. Fortunately, we could not hear it in our room but our room was not quiet. We could hear talking, stomping, and slamming doors until at least 2 am.

The pool and hot tub were in rough shape we booked for hot tub as we were on a long road trip all the jets had been broken off and kids were using them as diving sinkers to find in the bottom of the hot tub which truly was like a bathtub a dirty bathtub

The pool was closed and we stayed here because we have a 4 year old that was cooped up in a car all day and we thought he’d be able to get his energy out. There was a huge stain on the ceiling room 323 that looked like the roof had been leaking. Spot by bathtub had been half fixed looked awful. For $178 a night it definitely was not worth the price.

The first room had been obviously used by someone but not cleaned- and only one towel and one wash cloth and no soap! The bath and sink had human hair all over them!The second room that we occupied on the next two days was expand. The breakfast was excellent and the people taking care of that operation were courteous and helpful!

The main problem with the stay is that the shower didn’t work. When you tried to pull the stim up for the water to go into shower head it wouldn’t work. So we couldn’t take a shower and that was very frustrating. I told the front desk lady and she said sorry!! I’m not sure if she contacted anyone or not. We have been staying at Holiday Inn’s for many years and this is the first time the shower didn’t work.

Room size was nice, having a actual closet was nice, reading chair was comfortable, cable tv was great. Very noisy with truck traffic from trucks in parking lots. Door to all the rooms close very loud, so you hear just about everyone coming in and out on your floor. I suggest you've definitely bring your own pillows. and

We did not reserve a handicapped room, but that's what we got. We did not like the small vanity with no place to store items and the shampoo, conditioner and soap in a wall dispenser that was hard to reach from the shower. The air conditioner was not great and the pillows were too hard. We did not like the lounge couch/chair, hard to use.

The room and breakfast was great, would stay again. only complaint and it’s kinda a big one is that after driving 11 hours I stood at the front desk for 15 minutes waiting for the only guest services representative to get back from getting towels for another guest.

In our first room the toilet seat came off in my brother's hand. In the second room we were assigned the toilet ran all the time. We were gone the entire day and when we got back at midnight, the beds were unmade and the trash cans hadn't been emptied. The reservation was originally for three days. Our plans changed and we checked out early. We were told at the desk that since we didn't give 24 hours notice it was company policy to not refund the amount of the third day. So we paid for a room we didn't use. I will be calling to complain, and will not be using Holiday Inn again.

Went there for the Buffalo Trace tour and the hotel wasn’t very far away. Several good restaurants within walking distance as well as a grocery store. We ate the free breakfast every day while we were there as it was decent. Actually plan to go back for the remaining Trace Tours and will probably stay there again.

Quick check in. Clean and friendly. Pet friendly. Breakfast was great both days we stayed. Pancakes, sausage or bacon, omelette or scrambled, biscuits and sausage gravy. Oatmeal, cereal, muffins, fruit, with a few little extras to change up the taste. Yogurt, milk, chocolate milk, juices. And I didn’t mention coffee, indoor pool,…… We will be back!

It was a nice day. Not much to do in Franklin, Kentucky unless you come to go to Kentucky Downs. We had the hot tub and pool to ourselves and it was nice accommodations. Staff was pleasant. But it was a very noisy night sleep because there were people running in the halls and slamming doors between 2 and 4 AM. Not very nice when you pay good money to get a good nights rest. At this time, no plans to return.

I picked this place because of its reviews by other people. It was nice not to have the hustle and bustle of a lot of people, although they were booked up. Everyone including the patrons were helpful. Our room was clean and the air was blowing. We had the king suite, it is nice not to have to sit on your bed to watch tv. I love the couch. It did have a microwave and fridge in the corner, The t outside was 95degrees and humid. The breakfast was delicious; you need to try the pancakes!! They had a great flavor and good. The biscuits and sausage gravy were also excellent!! By the way, they have sugar free syrup for those that are diabetic. The pool; I was expecting it to be cold…my husband insisted it was heated. I went to the blower under the water…it was warm. The hot tub after was just what I needed for my bad knees. Easy check in and out.
