Breakfast was good, the beds are comfortable and clean. The rooms are warm and i look forward to returning after along day. I was disappointed about the construction but I do realize that it needs to be dine. I was concerned where they had me park had very large screws that had spilled all over the parking lot.

The St. Charles Hampton Inn is located adjacent to a strip mall for some eating and coffee choices. The property and area is quiet and safe. The hotel is older, but clean and well kept. The hotel staff, especially Kat, was outgoing and professional. Because we were going to arrive to the hotel after 10:00, we chose our room online earlier in the day and checked in digitally using the Hilton app, which was super easy. The breakfast was the usual Hampton Inn buffet, and was very good! The breakfast hostess kept the dining area neat and tidy. She needs a tip jar! The fitness center is okay, but no machines to use. We didn't utilize the pool, but it was open and available and looked clean. We will definitely book this property again when we travel to the area to see family!

It was an average hotel. There were a few hairs in the bathroom but I didn't want to make a big deal about it and have someone come clean the room again (we were only there one night). The swimming pool was so cold! My two year old couldn't stop shivering and I was cold too. Kinda stinked bc the pool was a big fun thing for our 2 & 3 year old. The bfast was wonderful but for the price I wouldn't want to stay here again.

Trying to coordinate 3 families checking in and attending a family Christmas gathering...The friendly staff allowed for a early check in and late check out which relieved a lot of stress of trying to coordinate schedules. Great breakfast and warm indoor pool that looked to be well maintained.

The room was clean but it is getting older. The refrigerator made so much noise I slept with a pillow over my head. The people upstairs were doing who knows what at 3AM so that wasn't the best either. The staff were nice. I wish that the rooms were attended to each day like they used to be.

We stayed here a night for Blockcon to visit wahlburgers. My husband was woken up to bed bugs biting him!!!!!! Staff told us to email the manager and we never got a response! Stay somewhere else to avoid bed bugs!!

OK, first of all they are remodeling, so the room was cold and the thermostat did not work. I called the front desk and they sent a guy up to fix (which he did). The room was very large but dark unless you opened the shades, which was not reasonable because it was freezing outside. It really needed some lamps and the furniture seemed to be in some type of temporary arrangement, but livable.

Do not recommend booking wedding block here . Guests missed deadline and hotel inflexible. Was agreement in writing? Yes. Should guests have been more on top of it? Yes. But because they refused to extend deadline (and had plenty of rooms till last minute) guests booked all over the place consequently messing up shuttle plans, and we paid for one that was hardly used. Organizing contacts were nice, but not above and beyond or accommodating. They claimed people make hotel reservation a year in advance but that’s not true. Everything about wedding was perfect except hotel which left bad impression. Also, unrelated, I don’t know how you mess up eggs and biscuits but breakfast was really dry.

Excellent from start to finish. Check-in was efficient and the desk agent was personable, informative and all-around helpful. Our room was clean, with working everything and clean towels - a huge step above other similar-priced hotels in the area. Highly recommend!

What I was very disappointed to see is that when I checked in they charged me a $15 fee for "incidentals". That was NOT mentioned when I booked the room. That added to the price of the room. Had I known that, I might have stayed elsewhere. If they are going to charge a fee, you should be told ahead of time. That was very disappointing.

Upon checking in Jack didn’t get a last name from the front desk was very attentive to our needs We told him we were there for a funeral. He was very nice. Told us we got an upgrade which the room was wonderful. He also told us that there was fresh coffee And in the evening he asked if he we wanted a fresh pot we told him no thank you, but it was nice to beasked.
