When we arrived on a busy Sat in the early evening the valets informed us they were full and directed us to the self park garage across the street. It was a very safe, clean and convenient garage at a fraction of the cost to valet the car at the hotel. The check in was the quickest I’ve ever experienced at a hotel. The television wasn’t working properly but maintenance was knocking on the door within minutes of expressing our concern to correct the problem. The concierge Angelique was one of the most knowledgeable and sweetest we had ever encountered. Every place she recommended and set up reservations at was exceptional. It was our first trip to Montreal and we passed many other hotels while exploring the city but I would not hesitate to book at Le Westin for our next visit. The location was superb as well!

Our room was very nice, clean, and modern. I thought the shower head could be replaced as it seemed to spray water in a weird kind of way. But this is a minor detail. The gym was excellent and the staff were great!

When you drive into the check in or drop off of your car is when the fragrance hits you. They pump in this scent that’s amazing. It carries into the lobby making you feel calm. The room we had was on the fourth floor. That floor is where the pool is with a see through bottom into the car entry and there’s a warm and cold plunge along with a sauna. The gym is bigger than most with more options than you may see at a normal gym. The hotel is centrally located to old Montreal, maybe 7 minute walk and the metro too. You may find others places less expensive but don’t. It’s worth the money. Plus a bar and restaurant. This hotel connects to other locations. So go explore. One persons opinion you do you.

Close to old town Montreal. Great location. Beds comfy and rooms fairly clean. Only issue was cobwebs in the bedside lamp and the double hook in bathroom broken so couldn’t hang both housecoats. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

Wonderful stay at the Westin. Close to Old Montreal and walkable to all the shopping at St Catharine street. Check in was super easy and fast. We would have preferred a room with a view but our room was fine. Clean and comfortable except for the shower. The tile floors need a good clean. Overall I would return.

The shower had visible pink scum lining the corners. The shower head was brutal. It did not distribute water evenly just shot out at you with force. No tub. We loved the pool, sauna and computer to play on. The common area was nice to sit and have coffe and relax before going for supper around the hotel. The staff were very freindly and helpful all 3 days we were there.

Nous avons été placé dans une section, on dirait dit pour employer nous n’avions aucune vue, nous avions le mur du face de l’autre côté de la rue : tour Saint-Jacques. Les chambres n’étaient pas rénové. Vraiment sans style. Pour le déjeuner et le lunch c’était parfait, mais pour le lounge pour le soir, il n’a pas de table style salon, ce sont tous des tables pour manger ou assis au bar . La chose la plus positive, c’était que le lit était très très confortable . La piscine était agréable . Le staff au déjeuner et au lunch était extrêmement accueillant et gentil au restaurant.

Staff were wonderful. Rooms are larger in size which is nice but outdated with stained carpets. Not very accessible and our view was of an alley with dumpsters and concrete wall. Location was convenient.

Great place to stay. Super friendly staff and very helpful concierge. Super clean, comfortable room. So easy to park and retrieve the car, and fast. Friendly and talented bartender at Gazette made delicious drinks and the food was very tasty. Location was good. Walkable to shopping but just enough out of the way so it was a bit quieter. I would certainly stay here again

The hotel was excellent, but they have contracted a valet parking company that lost my car key, damaging it since they towed it with another vehicle from the underground parking lot. In order to program a new key, our trip was affected since we couldn't do anything that day because we waited for them to fix the problem. And worst of all, they charged us for two days of parking. Now I have to waste my time asking for permission from my job without pay to take the vehicle in for repairs. They should change that company to one that takes responsibility for the damages they cause.

Great location just on the edge of the old city. Easy walking distance to new Montreal as well. Hotel is clean a works extremely well for both business and family. Second floor doubles as a convention centre which means you can access the business workstations and have an online meeting outside of you room when travelling with family. Staff is top notch, Claudia the Manager is noteworthy in her response and service. Stayed there twice so far and looking forward to our next visit.

Two issues I have during my stay. Firstly, I reserved three rooms and paid for all three of them at arrival. I informed the front desk at check-in that one of my guest will be arriving on a later flight and will check-in around midnight. I gave the front desk the name and was assured that everything was okay. When my guest tried to check-in, he was denied the reservation and have to book a new room while the room I reserved sits empty. Secondly, when we return from an outing, we found housekeeping has propped our door open while we were out. When I enquired with the front desk, the only answer given was that maybe housekeeping meant to bring something back to the room. Housekeeping never return to the room. This is the worse security breach I have ever experienced at any hotel, motel, air BnB, hostel.... I can't express how unsafe I feel for my and my travelling companion's safety.

First contact with hotel personnel is the valet parker. He demanded my keys, but I was not using the valet service. He made a big deal of this and insisted several times that I give him the keys. Meanwhile, about 30 minutes later, the car that entered the driveway after me was still sitting there. So what was the urgency? The rest of the stay was uneventful, the room was clean and comfortable. Front desk was excellent. Still, the first contact was enough to make me look elsewhere.

Beautiful, clean property in a convenient location in Old MTL. Didn’t have a chance to use the gym/pool or go to the restaurant. Room was very spacious and overall hotel was quiet and comfortable. I would rate the valet staff 5/5. Unfortunately check in and check out were a bit of a challenge. Our room wasn’t ready for check in time and the front desk person offered no apologies or sympathies. We asked how we’d know when the room was ready and it was our responsibility to come back and ask. We were going to go to the hotel bar for a drink but there were no restaurant staff around despite being open. Check out was a bit chaotic to get an elevator. Otherwise, we didn’t have any other interactions with staff.

Went to Montreal for a weekend and it was absolutely lovely. Not only was the hotel very clean and the staff were so welcoming, its location is so perfect. Everything was in such a walkable distance and anything that was a little further was an easy commute away as the metro station is right across the street.

L établissement est vieillot mais luxueux. La piscine et la salle de sport est de très bon niveau. Cependant, les pratiques marketing sont douteuses. La mention petit déjeuner buffet dans l offre, sous entend que cela est pris en charge et quand vous demandez confirmation à la réception , on vous mentionne que oui. Mais en fait, il vous charge le petit déjeuner d une valeur de 36 euros par personne sans vous le dire et vous prenez une facture supplémentaire de près de 120 euros avec les pourboires sans comprendre ce qu il vous arrive. Pas d excuse de leur part… et vous devez payer ! Des pratiques de crapules!

Stayed with my husband and kids. We all loved this place. Food at the Gazette was incredible and we ate there both nights. The desserts were amazing. I know some people mentioned it being pricey. We found the prices typical of any nice restaurant, nothing over the top. Service was in the hotel and restaurant were both great. Room was clean. One thing I noted was that many of the reviews mentioned a heated pool. The pool is not heated. It’s not freezing, but regular cold pool water. Then there is a hot tub, and a cold plunge both beside the pool. Pool is great otherwise, and was not too busy. The kids actually commented on how clean the pool was, and there were more than enough pool towels for everyone.
