At Budget Inn Hollywood, reviews highlight a central location and low rates, but note significant trade-offs, including frequent cleanliness problems, very small, bare-bones rooms, and limited parking in a gritty area that can feel unsafe and noisy.

Stayed 2 nights

This is far and away the sketchiest, dirtiest room I’ve ever stayed in. It absolutely reeked of cigarette smoke and there were burn marks on every pillow case & sheet. Mattress cover & sheets were stained. There was no blanket and only one single towel. No trash can. Paint peeling off the walls. Curtain rod is held up by a pair of wood screws (no rod holder at all). Also there were people right outside my door literally all night partying and having super loud conversations. At 7am someone decided to blast the loudest rap music I’ve ever heard. It’s right by a super busy intersection that is always filthy and populated with unsavory types, so I sort of knew what I was getting into, but it was way worse than I was even expecting. On a positive note, there were no bedbugs or other insects in the room. The A/C blew cold air. And I did not get robbed while entering or exiting (by some miracle, though I felt if I popped out to say anything about the noise at 4am it wasn’t going to go over well). It was cheap and I know you get what you pay for, so I’m not filing a formal complaint or anything, but I HIGHLY suggest dropping an extra $50/night on something better, cleaner & safer. I won’t make this mistake again.

This is not a good place to stay. Too many people hanging outside. Check in is at hotel next door. People canceled their rooms when I was checking in. Room was ok. But someone knocked on door in morning. This hotel should be taken off hotels.com.
