The motel was not bad. However they charge you $15 to park in their parking lot. Ive never had to pay to park in a normal hotel parking lot before. There is no reason to make you pay, other than to increase profit. You dont even notice the paid parking in the description of the hotel unless you are really paying attention.

When I reserved the hotel I wasn't advise about the parking fees... The hotel rent their parking lot to a third party company and you have to pay for parking...the bad thing is that you don't know how much you will be charged until check out...you have to provide your credit card info and then get charged... This is unbelievable, how in the world a hotel rent their parking to a third party company to get their guest charged for parking... There are plenty of good and better hotels in the area w/o parking fees or some charges just 10 dollars per night.

For the money, the front door is an automatic door that should be fixed. There was a sign to manually open and close that looks to have been there a while. And the ice machines didn’t work on our floor and there was plenty of room for more than one ice machine. And the breakfast area is apparently too small, and need some other drink options other than coffee or milk.

We selected the hotel for the indoor pool, and upon arrival found out the poolheater wasn't working and the water was icy. Booking through Expedia meant we couldn't cancel and go to a different hotel.

The room could've been a little cleaner. As soon as we walked in, there was a stench; the smell of mildew. The mattress had stains on the side that were very visible. the bathroom was not as clean as it could be and the refrigerator was nasty. Other than that, our stay was good.

Had to change rooms due to room being filthy and had an odor. Moved tk secondroom and it was still dirty but not as dirty and it didnt habe an odor. Some staff was a little unsettling but they workedhard and tried to keep everyone happy

The room was dirty especially the floors! Hair etc in the bathroom floor and you could tell the carpet wasn’t vacuumed! The shower had a constant drip! The staff seemed confused, even gave a guy the key to a room that was occupied already!

The rooms was clean and comfortable. We were disappointed that we had to pay for parking which should be provided if you are a guest. Breakfast was good. A bit of road noise as it was close to a highway but good for getting back on the road.

The hotel is located next to a very busy street with a lot of loud truck traffic. Our room was on the street side instead of the parking lot side, so we did not get much sleep. Additionally, the air conditioning in the room sounded like a jet engine taking off every time it started, so it kept waking us during the night. The furniture in the room was sticky for some reason, and the bathroom did not have any soap or towels when we arrived. The breakfast was fine and the staff was friendly. This was a disappointing experience overall, as we really like most Holiday Inn Expresses.

Super close to downtown, free breakfast, but pretty outdated. There was a trash bag on the smoke detector in my room. And I could hear the road all night and all day. Super noisy. Also could hear someone out in the hallway on their phone at 2am.

My husband and i stayed here the first week in December the only 3 complaints I have is 1 the shower head was broken so we had to hold it up when we took a shower 2 the bed was extremely hard 3 I still haven’t received my deposit for the room back the lady at the front desk said 2 weeks at the most and it’s been 2 weeks

The hotel was nice enough. Not overly fancy. The gym area is a joke and the continental breakfast wasn’t great the first morning. Everything was empty (food, napkins, utensils, creamer) had to wait 20 mins before anyone started refilling things. Not much seating so guests were having to stand to eat. The tv in our room was messed up. The picture was coming in blue and distorted.

Service and cleanliness are great. Unfortunately the walls are paper thin and the room doors automatically slam so loud that you are woken up several times throughout the night. The could hear every conversation very clearly that the guests were having on either side of me even with the tv on.

Enjoyed the great location, friendly staff, heated pool and the breakfast in the morning. The only issue we experienced was that Air conditioning would not cool the room. While it was very cold weather it was very stuffy in the room and the a/c would have made it more comfortable during the night. Still overall a good stay for our family.

My first impression was very nice and clean. Had to wait for the front desk person twice and say hello loudly to get her attention from the back. She put both me and the couple behind me in the same room. Luckily this was found out as we both stopped in front of the same room. We went back down and she didn't seem to bothered even tho I checked in first let the other couple take the original room. This could have been really bad has we already checked in. She offered no compensation at all. Room was very nice though. Comfortable and clean.

Overall great stay! In a great location for exploring Chattanooga. We didn’t spend much time in the room so it was a great place to lay our heads. Provided breakfast was really good! Everything worked in our room and it was comfortable and clean. Our shower was on a constant drip but that didn’t bother us, I’m just worried about their water bill, lol. The only complaint I have was our room keys were apparently “programmed” for one night so every day we went to get into our room and were rejected, had to go down to the desk, and re-activate our keys. Minor inconvenience and no worries on our end but just some feedback for the staff! Thanks for everything!

We reserved this place but when we reached the location around 11:30 PM local time, we were denied the room and was asked to move to a different location at 434 Chestnut St, Chattanooga. We waited for 2.5 hours to get a room. It was really a harassment for my me and my family. I would strongly recommend to stay away from this location to avoid any inconvenience for you and your family.

Not walkable to the city without walking in the roadway. Breakfast was okay; good variety and fresh. Bed and pillows were comfy. A/C was very loud. Furniture was streaked from poor cleaning and our do not disturb door hanger was very sticky. Paid way too much to stay here for 2 nights given the quality of hotel, however there was a festival that I’m sure inflated the price. This is a nice hotel for $100- 120 a night, anything more is just too much. Not sure why the reviews are all so high.

The hotel itself is fine. It was clean and comfortable. The only issue I had with it is it is labeled as being located downtown. I’m sure if one were to draw a circle around downtown Chattanooga it would probably fall within that circle. But be aware that it is not actually in the immediate downtown area and not close to restaurants or shopping. To walk downtown (to the areas where restaurants and shopping is) you have to cross a four-lane road and crossover a couple entrance and exit ramps to the interstate.

Hotel was very clean and the pool was nice.We enjoyed breakfast and the coffee.The only downside to hotel was how far it was from all the downtown activities and even how far one had to walk for a shuttle.
