This was a refurbished hotel and it definitely looked and smelled like it. The room smelled like wet mildew, the air cinditioner wouldnt get cold, the elevator didnt work, and breakfast is overrated!. Booked 2 nights, only stayed 1... the internet pic definitely didnt mat h the actual property. I mean the hotel sign was literally taped up with duct tape..

Check in was easy. The hotel was clean. We tried to swim before leaving but they had just put chemicals in the pool at 9am so it was closed. I was confused as to why they wouldn’t have put the chemicals in the pool when it closed at 8pm the night before instead of at 9 when it opened back up. My kids were excited about swimming but we weren’t able to. Other than that it was fine

We checked in, first room, our key wouldn’t work. Second key, we were sent to a room where someone was already staying in. Finally got a room on our 3rd try. The pool was closed all weekend. We were out from 7am. Got back to room at 10pm. Our room was not made up. I inquired at the front desk and was told daily housekeeping is optional and has to be requested. The parking lot is a mess with reno equipment thrown everywhere on the ground. I was told some money would be taken off the final bill and wasn’t when I checked out. The lady at the front desk said nothing could be done.

When I go rat walked in the room there was a molded smell, in the bathroom the drain in the bath tub was broken mean when we showered the tube would full up instead of going out. I had to manually release the water. When I booked the room it was because of the in door pool which I was told was opened. But that morning when I went down to swim it was close unto further notice. I only booked with them because their pool was open. Also there was construction work going on at the property at the front of the building where we enter in. I felt was in safe.

I booked two rooms, double beds. First room, there were white stains on one of the bed skirts, empty paper bags around the bottom of the bed underneath the bed shirt. Long black hair on the towels folded in the bathroom. The floor was dirty and had trash/debris on the floor in front of the stand where the TV, microwave and fridge is. The A/C unit sounded like a freight train coming through the wall. Second room, there was a child's t-shirt, white tank top and a black sock left on the floor underneath the bed skirt. Refrigerator did not cool properly. Overall horrible experience and I will never rent there again.

Due to Jan. 1st, staff said she was off for holiday. We had breakfast thursday. My 3 yr old daughter and I came down for breakfast Friday, no breakfast. Front desk said she was sick and went home. There is a sign posted saying no breakfast served this weekend. No other breakfast options offered.

I was not totally disappointed but I will not be staying there again. They did not have a smart tv. The pool closed at 8 pm. They only clean your room upon request. I called the front desk to ask for them to bring some face towels to our room and they informed me that I would have to come down and get them myself. The breakfast was disappointing they don’t have much at all on the menu and the only fruit they offered was apples. They have a pancake maker, but apparently it was temporarily out of service for all 6 days we were there. The breakfast cook was so nice, she is the reason that I rated the hotel so high. Her customer service is impeccable. She suggested different attractions to go to each day.

It was Great. The front desk staff who checked us in was a little attitude ish. When we asked if the hotel was been renovated she replied back with an attitude. But hey her day probably was long. But the hotel was good lots of place close by for food and shopping. Also they had breakfast between 6 and 9 am if I am not mistaken. The bed was comfy, the shower was great had force to relax you from a long drive. Overall pretty decent. I believe once this hotel gets renovated it will be superb

The rooms was clean only problem is bed was so hard it was like sleeping on a rock. Got no sleep because of bed i have back and shoulder problems and need a soft bed. Would be nice to have a better bed. Hot breajfast was great 5 stars for that. Was updated inside was clean and pretty. Yes i would stay here again. Going back in oct will stay here again unless i found one with better bed.

The hotel is under renovations, but clean and maintained well. The staff was efficient not overly friendly but they were polite. One of the problems were the noise from above us, we couldn't decide if it was kids running or horses? It's was both nights until about 3am. We could also hear continuous loud talking all night. The TV also did not have continuous service, it would lose signal about every 30 minutes, we assumed it was due to the construction. We did not say anything to the front desk about either issue to be fair, we just didn't feel it would be well received. Even with these two issues it was good for the price

You go to a hotel to sleep so the most important thing is the bed. These beds were the worst I've ever slept on. When you got on them they creaked like an old set of stairs and they were lumpy as hell. Like I said the worst I've ever been on.

Convenient location and check in was easy. Room was clean and right across from the pool. The tub had a dip in it so I’m glad there was a safety bar. The water pressure was perfect. The bed was a little too soft for me. Please know you are required to wear shoes when you come down for the free breakfast.

At check in they didn’t tell us what time check out was and what time breakfast was served. By 9:02am breakfast was put up. There wasn’t a do not disturb door hanger so at 8am the housekeeper opened our door and tried to come in our room. When I reported that to the front desk she was very rude about it. Do not stay here!!!!!!

I made a reservation over two months ago. When I arrived to check in, around midnight, I found that the hotel was closed for construction. I was never notified that the hotel was closed. We were in town for a concert and a college football game, so available rooms in the area were almost non-existent. Needless to say we were pretty upset to find the hotel closed. The room was average, a little out dated. The property has construction going on, so I guess updates are coming. My biggest beef is that they advertise a hot breakfast from 6:am to 9:am and at 8:15 when we went to breakfast there was no hot food left. I asked the attendant if she was putting out any food and she said no. I told my wife that they where not putting anything else out and we started walking out and the attendant said she would heat up some biscuits and gravy. We went to the front desk and the attendant followed us there and started telling us she would cook more food (everything). We had already decided to go to breakfast at Cracker Barrel. Very disappointed that we paid for breakfast with our room and it sim like a hassle for the Baymont to accommodate their guests. If breakfast is served til 9 there should be food available til 9.

The Baymont is very clean and signing out. The rooms are beautiful except my room to 11. Had the bathtub drain slowly and the morning breakfast. They say it's a full size breakfast. It did not have yogurt juices. It only had powdered eggs turkey sausage that was burnt with gravy and cereal. Comparable to like Holiday inn Express does a full breakfast and the ruins are the same price. Next time I will stay at the Holiday inn Express because of the breakfast
