Dreams Huatulco Resort & Spa

The location is stunning, the most beautiful beach that s clean and so uncrowded, so private. The staff were nice and helpful. There is not enough room around the pools for the number of people. To get a chair in the area of the infinity pools, you need to be up and at the pool before 6 and be prepared to stay until past breakfast. If I’m on vacation, I’d rather not get up that early. The one day I attempted that madness, I was there from 5:15 until 6:15 then went back to the room to get ready for breakfast and the staff removed my towels and belongings. There are some spots at the less sought after pools (no view) and sometimes the beach. I was frustrated by the process. The Portofino restaurant was very good but otherwise the food was rather bland and seldom warm or freshly prepared. But honestly, I’d stay again for the beautiful beach and view.

The facilities were spotless. The staff were always helpful. The food was excellent.

Room was great, staff were incredible, food was ok but trying to get a seat near pool anytime after 8am is impossible. Was very frustrating. People actually get up at 5:30am and reserve their seats for the day with towels. It seems that there are more guests than chairs.

Everything was wonderful. But i could never afford to go there again.

Very friendly and helpful staff, nice location and amenities. Using the Hyatt Inclusive app to request services or to resolve issues makes for an easy experience. Only negative was that the à la carte restaurants don’t take reservations.
