This resort is conveniently located just 10 minutes from the beach in Santa Cruz. As well, frequent shuttles are available to the Nirú Beach Club. All the staff at both locations are excellent. Highly recommend as a stay for couples or families. Lots of happy children in the pools!

The staff was helpful and friendly, the pool and gardens are beautiful. They share a beach club with another resort so you have to be aware of shuttle times. The food was fairly good, buffet so not always hot. We saw a great show.

Es un buen hotel pequño, mi estancia general fue muy buena la alberca estaba agusto y el beach club 10/10, solamenete mejoraria el horario para estar ahi. El hotel es totalemnte familiar asi que si no te gusta tanto alboroto en la alberca, etc. no te lo recomiendo. Le doy las 3B. La ubicación es perfecta, hay ligares cercanos para comer y esta a un par de calles de la playa santa cruz, del muelle de donde salen las lanchas y hay un mercadito donde puedes comer algo.

We loved the smaller size of the property. Having access to the Niru Beach Club was fabulous! It is a beautiful facility! This way you can either spend a quiet day at the Hotel Pool or a more adventurous day at the Niru ! BRILLIANT!

Very clean and well maintained. Super quiet and staff were excellent. My only knock on it was at noon sharp you had to checkout and remove bracelet so charged for any drinks/food (very expensive) if you have to wait for a late afternoon flight.

They made us think by the pictures that the hotel was by the ocean which it wasn’t, we had to take a transport to go to another hotel and go to the beach which it wasn’t ideal, also for dinner one time the requirement was to be formal which I totally understand not being with wet clothes and barefoot , but they were requiring HEELS for women and tell me.. do you take to your beach vacation some heels? Because none of my family had heels and they didn’t let us have dinner at that restaurant.

We weren't told that our room was next the evening performance, the music was too loud and had to wait until after 10:30 to go to bed. The deck around the Binniguenda pool was very dirty and was never washed. The wicker chairs in the after 5 lounge were broken down and in need of replacement. Overall the staff tried very hard to please everyone. The Besch Club was very enjoyable. Would recommend this resort only the above comments were addressed

I was shocked when I watched housekeeping wipe the inside of our drinking glasses with the same cloth she used to wipe the bathroom counter and desk with. That is not sanitary. Needless to say, we washed our drinking glasses ourselves after that. Also, most mornings, the caraf the coffee arrived in was splotched with splashes and the handle was sticky and grimmy….not exactly appealing. Staff in general were lovely and helpful. Better English would be helpful.

We spent 6 nights at the resort in early December. The resort was quiet during the day since many people went to the beach club, just a few blocks away. The food was great, the entertainment was really good, and the staff so friendly. The grounds are gorgeous and very well maintained, the rooms are clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Bad conditions in the room: mold in the ceiling and walls, a lot of mosquitoes in the room. They refuse to change the room. With a bad attitude they offered to use insecticide for controlling mosquitoes. If you prioritize amenities over a clean room to rest, this is your place, if not, run away from here. There are other excellent options in Huatulco Pésimas condiciones de la habitación: moho en el techo y las paredes, muchos mosquitos dentro de la habitación. Se rehusaron a cambiarnos de de habitación. This property was one of the first in Huatulco , it’s small but very very clean , we loved the room , staff attentiveness. Our stay was very pleasant, if I have one negative it’s that the only restaurant they have is edible but surely not a higher class , it’s ok , having use of Niro is great , the beach is exquisite and Niro is perfect. Together I’d recommend this resort , if you like a laid back style stay. Note if you like 5 restaurants and all if the big resort things , this resort isn’t for you. If you want a super clean , well run resort that’s relaxing , maybe this is it.

Great hotel! Very friendly and caring staff, especially toward children. We loved the pool and our room was very comfortable. We loved that we could visit the pool and beach next at their sister hotel Niru! 10/10 recommend if you’re looking for a warm, laid back and family atmosphere. Just bring lots of bug repellent because the mosquitos are very much out to get you! PS we highly recommend the 7 bahias tour, the Cascadas (waterfall) tour, and definitely check out playa la Entrega! It’s very close to the hotel, about a 15 minute drive in a taxi.

Shower and curtain made ALL the water come out, leaving a soaking wet, dangerous bathroom floor. Food was just ok. There's a party bus that comes by every night every hour, make sure to request a room that doesn't face the front of the property or you won't get any rest. Club was amazing. Staff was exceptional. These two things make everything else worth it.

Our stay at Binniguenda was pleasant overall, though check-in policies are very strict. Because of an early flight, we arrived before check in time, which we were aware of. We weren’t allowed to use amenities until after noon or access our room until 3pm, the initial contact receptionist was very rude about it. Another receptionist, more willing to help, offered an early check-in for 1,200 pesos. The hotel is older but clean, with comfortable beds and good AC. Alcoholic drinks were definitely watered down, but the food at Palapa Chahué was delicious, cleanly prepared, and offered good variety. Service there was excellent, especially from Noemi and Armando. At the bar, Axcel, Lorenso, and Angelico also provided friendly, attentive service. The beach club Niru was also very pleasant. The pool area is great and there are plenty of beach chairs, easily accessible, and the food at Xhadani was good.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our 10 day stay at the Binniguenda Hualtulco & Beach Club in late March 2024. We recognize there are higher end hotels in the area but it is the staff at this hotel that we love and really make the difference. Plus the beach access at the Niru Beach Club, an extension of the hotel, was outstanding and so beautiful. This is our second stay and we made it a point this time to watch all the evening shows. Great performances by the dancers! So talented! A special call out to Sylvia, our omelet cook; Freddie, the Niru Beach bartender; Oliver, the main hotel bartendar; Ulysses and Rosa, the wonderful hotel lobby receptionists; Jessica, the dinner greeter and food server; Raul, the manager who went the extra mile for arranging breakfast before our early plane departure and Jose, Carlos and Santiago too. And especially, Julio, at the front desk, who upon arriving remembered us from last year and was always so hospitable, friendly, and courteous. Such warm and loving smiles by the staff. Our thanks to you all!

The buffet although delicious was repetitive. The surrounding area and resturants were DELICIOUS. The website was slightly deceptive as it appears that Niru is the Binniguenda. That is the beach club and a 10 minute walk to the beach from the Binniguenda location. I would definitely come back to this location without hesitation. For the price its perfection.

El trato del personal fue excelente en todo momento, incluso nos entregaron nuestra habitación antes de tiempo. La habitación muy bien, el clima funcionando excelente y la presion y temperatura de agua también. El show de la cena también muy entretenido. Respecto a la comida ( al ser un todo incluido) en recepción nos entregaron una hoja con los horarios y había que poner atención y que no se pasaran estos horarios porque no sirven alimentos todo el tiempo (ejemplo, el desayuno termina a las 11:30 am y hasta la 1 pm es la comida y no hay disponible ningun snack en este tiempo, de 1 a 5 pm es la comida y el servicio de snacks también termina a las 5 pm, habia que esperar hasta las 7:30 pm para la cena), además los snacks no incluyen opciones dulces, todo es salado (hot dogs, hamburguesas, alitas y nuguets) y no te permiten comer en la zona de la alberca. Los alimentos muy bien (nos pareció mejores los desayunos y cenas que la comida) pero también sentimos que todo muy controlado, te piden # de habitación al entrar a comer (aunque traigas puesto el brazalete de todo incluido), tu seleccionas lo que quieras que te sirvan (no se puede servir uno mismo), esto se entiende por lo del desperdicio, pero pues si es extraño.

Beautiful hotel. Gorgeous grounds . Efficient and friendly staff. The beach club is beyond excellent. Gorgeous view with infinity pool. Plenty of chairs. The food overall was not so good. Cold sometimes. Repetitive. We ended up eating out most nights. Not sure if we would return to hotel but would definitely go back to Niru.

The staff at the hotel are top shelf! Too many awesome people to name. Only negative was the dinner. So different from lunch which was outstanding! Give the pool a paint touch up and improve the dinner options and you will have a 12/10 property.
