The hotel has been recently renovated. The lobby and eating area were really nicely decorated. The staff were professional, polite and very helpful. We had several issues though; The pool had black mold all around the water line. Our first room smelled horribly musty. The rooms were terribly humid. We saw a cockroach that they tried to say was a water bug and we had chronic room key problems.

Whilst the staff were friendly and the breakfast and breakfast area very good, I could NOT recommend this property. The room, although large, was cold and dark. You can't open the window blinds/shades and the feel of the room was just awful. It was not a pleasant experience, to say the least. I never got housekeeping, either, and having daily housekeeping was one of the reason I opted for the Sleep Inn instead of MainStay. Additionally, the pool was not open and that was a disappointment, especially since it was a hot day.

Great place except only one elevator on other side of property. We took elevator but had to walk all the way around property to get to our room, esay to get lost. People with disabilities should avoid 2nd floor rooms. My wife has cardiac condition and gets short of breath easily. So next time we will get room on first floor.

the room was clean however the front desk and housekeepers refuse to give you towels. We were there for 3 nights and could not get a clean set of towels. The pool area was also a little dirty. There were left over clothing and trash around the pol. The breakfast is terrible, not many choices, the coffee was cold and old and the waffles were soggy when you take them out the waffle iron.

This place doesn’t have a bar like stated. Water pressure sucked. I had people knocking on my door saying they were sent to my room for someone whom I didn’t know. Around back junkies hang out by the door.

The door to our room was open when we arrived. The sheets in one bed was covered in hair/fur and the other had crumbs in it. I had to go ask for clean sheets. The comforter had several stains. I was told they didn’t have any clean comforter when I askes.

When we arrived at the hotel garbage was around everywhere. Got into the room only had one towel and wash clothes. Floors was dirty went to the desk to ask for more towels and they said we only could get 2 like what we had 3 people in the room and paid for 3 people in the room. Pissed me off. How could we shower only 2 towels and before anything is said it was around 4 when we checked in. Also pot was all in the building being smoked in the rooms. Awful never again will we stay there!

Floors were filthy!!!! My son took off his socks and ran around for 1 minute and the bottom of his feet were black. Dirty brown splatters of who knows what on the floor and on base of lamp. White splatter of something on bedskirt and floor. Gross! Stains on lamp shade. Black marks on walls. Hair on pillows and sheets. Stains and holes on comforter in duvet cover. A bug was smashed on the ceiling. Balcony floor diagusting. Toilet was clean but coming off one hinge. Pillows were too fluffy and thin. Lay on it you head sinks to the bottom. Only giving two stars because there was a nice tv, microwave, and fridge, quiet at night, and the toilet was clean. That's it. We checked in at night. When my husband went to get the rest of the luggagae out of the car the man at the front desk saw him walk out to get our things and didn't tell him that he was just about to lock the front doors so my husband had to go all around to the side entrance. Located in what looks like not a very safe neighborhood. Saw lots of cop cars stopping people. I'm glad it was just one night but feel like I over paid. Would not go again. Would not recommend. Couldn't wait to leave in the morning.

Checked in on Friday night. I had called to tell the front desk that I was running later than expected and the person on the phone confirmed it was fine and said "if that's all I need to go" and hung up. It was all so that's fine. When we arrived the entire property smelled like mildew. Everything in our room was moist from the towels to the sheets on the bed. Someone mentioned that they had bed bugs as well in another room. I took 2 showers in my time there and my towels never dried once. It claimed to be a smoke free community but it seems that people read that "feel free to smoke" the entire place smelled like weed from the time I arrived to the morning I left. Morning and night. I won't stay here again even though the location was pretty good.

The room was basic and worked for just sleeping if you won’t be spending much time in the pool. You have to turn in old towels for clean ones, which is a little difficult with children. Found a cockroach in the bathroom. Over all it wasn’t terrible but I won’t be staying here again.

Room was dirty and smelled like an entire gallon of baby powder was dumped in the room and we couldn’t breathe… the fridge was off and warm and the bathroom sink was flooded… the bread and bagels were hard and old and there was liquid all over the floor around and under the garbage can… I witnessed a staff member drip two stacks of cups on the floor and proceed to put them out for customers to use… just disgusting :(

We enjoyed our stay. The place was clean and well kept. Breakfast was simple, boiled eggs, waffles, apple, orange. Two choices of cereal. Orange juice or water. Different bagel options. Our room tv did not work, it was stuck in Spanish. The remote would only turn on and off the tv. Asked front desk, they never did fix it. Wasn’t a big deal as we didn’t mind no tv.

The people were nice. We got into our room and it smelt like cigarettes. They changed our room and the bed was broken. We were too embarrassed to say something since we already just got moved so we dealt with a broken bed. Then the hot water didn’t work, so we showered in cold water. The breakfast was super basic. Definitely did not get our moneys worth. We have better and cleaner service at a motel 6. The place did look pretty when you walk in. But once you hit the corner to the rooms…. RED RUM RED RUM. The end.

The hotel is conveintly located about 12 minutes from Forsyth Park and about another 6 minutes from River Street. It may not be right for some but after making some adjustments and with the staffs help, I was glad I stayed. The staff was friendly, helpful and accommodating. The bed was very comfortable and I had an amazing nights sleep.

Decent stay for the price. The unit we were in had leaking windows and water was coming into thr apartment from a bad seal. It was clean and everything appeared to be in working shape. The bed was old and could be replaced, however it was fairly comfortable.

I booked just about 30 minutes before our stay so I got the price $120/night for a room of 2 double beds. There was stinky sewage smell in the bathroom, which I hated the most. The walls were not soundproof at all, we could hear everything from the next doors, also the noise outside (we were awakened by the lawn mourner at 7am in the morning @@) The only credit is the included breakfast: we loved the serve-yourself waffle!

This hotel was clean and one of the nicer ones we’ve stayed at in this area for a decent price. The place is getting some upgrades and has people working. But it was extremely nice. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be staying again if we have to come back for the weekend. The breakfast is great, it’s not just make your own waffles and toast. They actually serve bacon sausage eggs etc. we really do recommend the sleep inn.

They are running a predatory business that will sell a room at a low price and then tell you that they don’t have your reservation when you arrive. But their solution to that will be to sell you the same room again at over double the cost. Shameful!

Should have listened to reviews. The staff was horrible. Asked for joined rooms and got put on separate floors. Never gave us fresh towels so I asked for some from the front desk and was told no. We had mold in the bathroom on the ceilings and lots of bad repairs by the windows which also had mold. The other room had the same issue plus huge cobwebs above one of the beds. The room keys also barely worked on the outer doors. Breakfast was a joke with the food wrangler telling you how much you could have and then no cups for the coffee or other hot drinks. I would never stay there again. Glad the other guest had the same complaints

Terrible front staff lady, if you aren’t happy and have attitude, just do all of us a favor and just quit. No one needs to walk in to check in and be greeted by an unwelcoming person and doesn’t want to answer any question.

First of all, it took FOREVER to check in!!! For some reason, they couldn’t find my reservation in the system. I showed confirmation number and they still wasn’t able to locate it. Finally, he said he figured it out. We missed our dinner reservation because of that situation. Then, once in the room, I noticed a worm crawling on the floor.

I liked that the staff allowed me to check in early. After that, it was down hill. First, while I was sitting on the bed, another guest came into my room because front desk give them the same room with a key. That could have been dangerous. I also realized that I didn’t have any towels. Because there are no phones in the room, I had to walk to the front desk, just to be told that they don’t have any more. She gave me a pool towel.

All in all, was a pretty good stay. We got there at around 1:50 pm, clock in time was 3, they still didn't let us check in, so had to waste an hour driving around. I understand if we were 3-4 hours early, but one hour? Other than that it was perfect for what we needed. About 4-5 miles from the River, so was pretty easy Uber ride

The hotel is conveintly located about 12 minutes from Forsyth Park and about another 6 minutes from River Street. It may not be right for some but after making some adjustments and with the staffs help, I was glad I stayed. The staff was friendly, helpful and accommodating. The bed was very comfortable and I had an amazing nights sleep.

Located in a central area that is easy to get downtown or to the beach. Plenty of dining and shopping options to choose from. Very clean room and super friendly staff. Will stay there again.

Limited food options in walking distance unless you like chucky cheese! Room was spacious but they provided K cups and the coffee maker is for the slide in bagged coffee. A must visit is Fort Pulaski while in Savannah!

This hotel does not have a hot breakfast. No eggs or breakfast meats as the pictures of the dining might indicate. The kitchen attendant was very friendly and customer service oriented.

I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the TV, larger than most other properties that I've visited. The room was a good size and nicely decorated. The waffle breakfast was sufficient, better than no food at all. Butter would have been nice but these are costly times so,, I understand. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Thank you very much!

THE HOTEL WAS NOT AS PICTURED. MOLD AROUND THE BATH SINK. ROOM FOR 3, WITH 2 SETS OF TOWELS. THERE WAS NO HOT BUFFET BREAKFAST AS PICTURED! WAFFLE DISPENSER WAS EMPTY. THE MORNING STAFF OFFERED NO EXPLANATION. THIS WAS VERY DISAPPOINTING.

the tv remote only works from 3 ft away. Breakfast was over an hr late to start, from 7 to 8am. Only waffles and toast and an apple. Even the 1 hard boiled egg was gone in minutes and none replaced. The coffee at 7am was cold and had to wait till 8am for coffee. I asked the night prior for a late check out and she said to ask in the morning , I did and was told no instantly with some attitude, I said that's the very first time I was told no at any hotel ever in my life, she went to ask the "manager" and that took a door open and 2 seconds to say no. Only 2 rags in the room with double beds , none for the shower area, only the sink, no trash bags in the trash cans, and I got an apple juice and 2 waters charged to the room and they must've been $15 bc of the $75 deposit, I only got $60 back. The morning crew really made staying here feel like I was ripped off. I did not have a nice stay.

The walls were not soundproof at all, we could hear everything from the next doors, also the noise outside (we were awakened by the lawn mourner at 7am in the morning @@) The only credit is the included breakfast: we loved the serve-yourself waffle!

The hotel was very nice about removing the feather pillows and feather comforter, but they had no pillows that were non-feather. I had to go to JCPenney and buy a couple. First time I’ve ever had to do that. They did provide fresh pillowcases for them. Nice that they have a breakfast. It’s not extensive but what they have is good.

Helpful staff and clean breakfast was good. But only had one elevator was not on hotel side. My mom has to use a scooter for getting around sometimes room was other side of hotel. Pool closed early cause of lightning problems. Beds was nice and room was clean.
