What guests think

AI-generated summary based on recent guest reviews

At Hollywood Hills Hotel, guests praise the sweeping city views and roomy suites, but repeatedly note contactless check-in with no front desk, an aging property, inconsistent cleanliness, frequent pool closures, many stairs, occasional nightlife noise, and tricky parking and access.

Stayed 5 nights

Okay I don't write hotel reviews but here we go. I stayed 5 nights. Great location, $40 scam per night on parking. Despite the outside looking dated, the inside of the rooms are fairly modern. Cool pool right on the cliff, as deep as 12 feet, good for diving. FLAWS: 107 has bed bugs. I got bites on my back. There was lots of trash around the pool. Cigarettes, bottles, etc, looked months old and not kept up. Customer service sucked, nobody on site, nobody picks up phone. You have to text for response. I'll be disputing my stay because of the bed bug situation. DONT ACCEPT ROOM 107.

Hollywood Hills!! What a treat!! Secluded with a beautiful view of the city. Hotel was a short Uber ride to the Bowl to enjoy a night of Smokey Robinson! Will definitely come back to enjoy the speculation and the views 💜

We stayed in Room 203 and the upstairs neighbors made noise all day and all night. It really ruined our stay and this is one of our favorite hotels. People were also running up and down the stairs at all hours of the night.

Amazing views from the room- that was definitely the highlight. Pool was enjoyed (although there was no place to sit.) The room was very spacious. The staff incredibly helpful when I needed things. For those choosing this for it's proximity to Hollywood...while probably walkable for some...it is down a hill and the directions are not clear how to best walk (we thought we locked ourselves out of the gate but managed to get back in). I was concerned about the walk back after dark (with my child) so we decided to drive to Hollywood Blvd instead.

The balcony views were great, but……. The bathroom was our main issue. There was no outlet in the bathroom so drying and curling hair had to be done in the bedroom. However the outlet in there was nowhere near a mirror. There was also no ceiling fan/vent in the bathroom. There was mold all over the floor from the moisture from showers. They also showed photos on the website of the bathroom having a window with a view. I’m sure some unit may have had that, but ours did not. The description said sound proof walls, but the ceiling was not. We could hear every word from the upstairs tenant’s tv. Our TV was not visible from the bed so we couldn’t enjoy a movie or show at night from our bed.
