Elysee Hotel

My sister and I stayed here for 3 nights, part of our 4 city/country vacation in Eastern Europe. The hotel is on a main street, but within a building, so it's quiet within the entire hotel. There's an elevator and a large lobby, including a bathroom, in case your room isn't ready. We were checked in by Lukas, who was the best ever!! We chatted with him a few times and just loved him. LUKAS! <3 The breakfast buffet was incredible. A variety of everything, and I especially loved the Italian wafer cookies with cream in between, which they seemed to have out every other day, so it kind of rotates from what I noticed. As for the room, it was nice, but the bed was a bit soft for me since I like a firm mattress. Probably our softest bed out of our 4 hotels/cities/countries. Our temperature was fine at first, and we adjusted as needed. But then one night when we returned the heat was on and it was HOT. I was told there was no air (but I'm absolutely positive there was, since I had adjusted it the day before), and I finally convinced him to turn the heat off, and we opened the windows to cool the room down. Besides that issue, the front desk was helpful in printing out tickets I bought online for the castle. Out in Prague, we mostly walked, but there is a subway stop a 3 minute walk away for things that are farther away. Plenty of shops and food nearby the hotel. We also walked to/from the main train station, which was part of the reason we picked this hotel and its location.

Frühstück ist sehr gut, der Rest geht. Leider war der angekündigte Parkplatz am Hotel nicht vorhanden. Parkhaus im Viertel ist aber okay.

Rooms are not maintained well, poor equipped. No place to put your cloth. No hooks in bathroom. Everything is too old. Hotel doesn’t invest in room upgrade’s. Breakfast very simple and not many chooses. Online pictures of rooms and other commodities are totally not how it looks in reality. No laundry service in hotel, but it was listed as provided. Not recommending this hotel.

Very big, nice and clean breakfast room. They held our bags in storage for us. Nice room. Would stay again

Great location in the center. Have to walk a Bit in to Get to the hotel. But it is quiet so worth it. No workout facilities. Breakfast is average. Prices Are ok considering location.

바츨라프 광장에 아주 가까이 위치해 있어서 여행 시, 도보로 이동하기 좋고, 주변 인프라가 아주 잘 되어 있어서 좋았습니다. 다만, 호텔이 고풍스럽고, 오래되어, 최신편의 시설을 기대한다면, 실망할 수도 있지만, 에어컨, 엘리베이터, 와이파이 서비스도 제공되고 있어서 크게 불편함은 없습니다. 조식 서비스는 아주 훌륭하고, 분위기있게 식사를 할 수 있습니다.

Stort, rent værelse med alt, man skulle bruge. Morgenmaden var ikke særlig god, og personalet ikke supervenligt, men hotellet lå rigtig godt placeret, og værelset var godt.

The hotel is very well located and the room was ok, just a bit outdated. But looks like it was not cleaned well. There were a lot of long black hairs everywhere on the floor I even had to take some napkins and remove them.

Hotel was clean. Breakfast was good. Excellent location. Close to train station, museum, Wenceslas Square and shopping. It’s right where you want to be.

Zentral gelegen,viele Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuss erreichbar. Zimmer ist sauber und gross.

Die Zimmer sind sehr geräumig, die Lage quasi direkt am Wenzelplatz ist unschlagbar. Obwohl es ein eher älteres Haus ist, sind die Zimmer in gutem Zustand und sehr sauber. Das Personal ist außergewöhnlich freundlich und das Frühstücksbuffet ist sehr gut.

Veldig sentral beliggenhet, perfekt for shopping, severdigheter og kafeer. Vi hadde to leiligheter med god plass, kjøkken og minibar – veldig praktisk. Hotellet er litt slitt. Det var mugg på badet i den ene leiligheten og noen småkryp i den andre. Personalet var veldig hyggelige, spesielt hun som sjekket oss inn. Totalt sett et greit opphold og et godt valg for de som vil bo sentralt til en rimelig pris.

Great location and about 5 minute walk from the Metro. Nice reception area and huge clean room. Also, free breakfast which was good. Would recommend.

Cons: The hotel is really really old. The rooms are ok (but not like the pictures) the furniture is outdated. The bed makes sounds every time you move. The pillows were the worst part of the whole stay. There is no smart TV. The floor of the bathroom is dangerously slippery (be careful). Pros: location is great lots of shops, restaurants and cafes. The breakfast is good.

Hotellet i sin helhet är helt okej, frukosten var okej, sängen bekväm och läget centralt. Däremot är det riktigt dåligt vattentryck i duschen samt att AC inte fungerade under vår vistelse, rummet var således väldigt varmt. Personalen i receptionen sa att detta inte gick att lösa och därav blev det lite svårt att sova.

Travelling with my daughter and needed 2 single beds. Beds were very soft, maybe too soft for me. Also, the beds were bowing in the centre so not great for comfort. Excellent air conditioning in room. Bathroom is of European standard. Shower particurlarly small as is normal in the EU. Location was excellent and very easy to get around Prague. They had a mini bar available. The fridge in 201 not functioning properly though.

Over all great hotel and staff service. Only think what could be better is the shower presure, and due to this imposible to have constance water tempeture.

We got upgraded to an apartment which was very spacious and clean. Staff were professional and helpful.

Die Lage der Unterkunft war sehr gut. Leider hatten wir ein Zimmer zum Hinterhof, wo die ganze Zeit eine Klimaanlage des angrenzenden Geschäfts lief. Wir dachten es käme von der Klimaanlage im Zimmer, da wir es am Anfang nicht zuordnen konnten. Zum Schluß erfuhren wir, dass es, wie gesagt das angrenzende Geschäft war. Die Sauberkeit war gut. Auch das Personal war höflich und zuvorkommend.

in general everything was OK, but I did not like the fact that I ordered double bed but got 2 separate beds as well view trough window was not that great (other buildings wall)

The staff was friendly. I needed 2 bandaids and they gave them to me at the reception desk. The hotel is clean and there is lots of dinning options!

Lucas at the front desk was very friendly and welcoming. The hotel location is great, only a few minutes walk from the Museum and the Muzeum metro station. Lots of shops, restaurants and bars around and not far from the main touristic attractions. The room was very comfortable and although I asked for a room with a bathtub and they kindly gave me one, there was no bath mat and it was very slippery. I even had a fall and hurt myself. Nothing too serious though. Bed was really comfortable, there was also a very useful fridge. I highly recommend this hotel but would suggest asking for a bath mat in case you get a room with a bathtub.

Zentral gelegenes Hotel, gut vom Hauptbahnhof zu erreichen, großes Zimmer, 2.Stuhl oder Sessel wäre schön gewesen, Frühstück gut, wird schnell aufgefüllt, Personal diskret und freundlich. Ich hatte Geburtstag während des Aufenthaltes, es gab eine Flasche Sekt als Überraschung aufs Zimmer.

This is my 2nd time to Prague and my 2nd stay at Hotel Elysse. The front desk is so helpful and the chamber maids are so polite. It’s a great location and the breakfast is phenomenal even by American Standards. Next time in Prague, I’ll be staying here again.

Great location, just a few minutes from the main railway station, in the heart of Wenceslas square. Friendly, helpful staff. The room was quiet, clean, spacious.

Elysee Hotel is in a good location within walking distance of the station and Ol Town. It includes bteakfast which is goodand thw rooms were afequate for our purpose.iwould recommend this hotelto others

Direkt am zentralen Wenzelsplatz in einem Hinterhaus lässt sich ganz Prag zu Fuß erkunden, keine 5 Minuten vom Hauptbahnhof.

Great place to stay. Close to all attractions and restaurants. Was very impressed with breakfasts which were phenomenal Particularly appreciated brekky to go as we had an early flight. Highly recommended. Also loved the Christmas market and the delicious food were were able to try👌👌👌

Enjoyable and comfortable stay, the room was clean and we had a good nights sleep. The breakfast was very good with a good choice.

Very nice hotel with spacious rooms. Everything was clean and the staff is very friendly. Unfortunately I didn't get a room with a double bed and the single bed was pretty narrow but still OK. The main point of critique is the breakfast. The selection was limited and the food was only average.

Bom hotel. Quarto grande e espaçoso! Embora simples entrega tudo que prometeu. Café da manhã excelente! Ficaria em mais oportunidades.

General condition of hotel is aging but OK. Bathroom was nice. Breakfast was good, if you remember its a European hotel. Well stocked and service very good. Reception were efficient and friendly. Position of hotel in Wenseslas Sq. is good and nice little Diner for drinks too excellent just outside the lobby in the arcade. As well as Asisn Raman place.
