The hotel was very clean and I appreciated being able to get coffee or tea at any time. The pool area is depressing, but there's not a lot of space to do much about that. The wifi kept going out, which was a problem.

Everything about this hotel is great. It's always very clean and close in promimity to our annual event. The only issue as an EV driver is that they do not have a charger on site. Other than that, it's perfect

Excellent hotel for easy access to Hollywood Blvd.We loved our stay! Breakfast was great each day, waffle machine awesome. Free coffee in lobby was great. Good gym. Pool was good. Beds were comfortable. Very clean hotel. Location outside a little sketchy but not too bad. Overall would recommend!

Mold came out of bathroom sink all of a sudden and front office staff didnt care to explain why and didnt even apologize for the inconvenience. Maintenence guy came and eanes but ddnt provode the reason eirher.

The service was very nice. Friendly staff and easy check in and out. The room could have been a bit cleaner. We did notice stains on the comforters. We did also ask for someone to come change them the next day but that did not happen. We would stay again. The room was extremely tight though. Maybe a little tight for a family of 4. Overall though it was perfect for 2 nights and close to Universal Studios.

We have stayed at many Hampton Inns throughout the US and this was the nicest one we have stayed in by far. Everything was clean and updated. The housekeepers should get a raise! I always clean the room again before we put our things down in every hotel we stay in and this room was very clean.

We were very impressed with this hotel. Never visited LA before and weren't sure what to expect. The hotel was very clean and updated. Our room was spacious. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was hot and well supplied. Couldn't have asked for anything more.

The hotel is nice in general. We stayed in a suite with a King bed and sofa bed. The sofa bed was terrible. The mattress was so thin and you could feel the springs pocking you.

I got this room specifically so my kids could sleep on the pull out bed. Pull out bed was completely destroyed when we tried using it. The best they could do is bring us a twin mattress to sit in the floor. The bathroom set up was super awkward and our door was broken and constantly opened into the sink area. AC kept turning itself down super low to 63 even though we would set it at 71. One nightstand had ZERO plugs while the other one had multiple plugs. Matress wasn't super comfortable either. I'd find another hotel next time I'm in Hollywood.

Great facility and friendly staff, however I would like to comment about the valet parking fee that was added to our bill after checkout. We knew ahead of time about the parking available on site and therefore decided not to use the service and park on the street. I didn't ask for a receipt upon checkout, which I should have. Days later, I noticed the charge on our credit card that was automatically added. Kind of a shame they don't keep better records between the valet and the front desk. We called and they reimbursed the charge immediately, but I was disappointed this even happened in the first place. Could have been a simple mistake, but I usually expect more from Hampton Hotels. :-/

Their key service was down and we couldn’t come and go without relying on security to walk us back to our rooms. My husband had to get something from the garage and got trapped because you need a key card to use the elevator to leave the garage. The outlets were all lose and wouldn’t work. We had to use the ADA room because my son need a bath rub and it looked like the room hadn’t been touched in a while. When we asked one of the staff about the key cards she was annoyed and talked about how it’s effecting them. What about the people who are paying to be inconvenienced?

My father’s stay at this hotel was hindered by the smell of marijuana. When he went to the desk downstairs to let them know they said they would investigate. After he complained a second time he asked for a room change. They told him they were booked solid which was not true per Hilton Dimond Support. When I personally called to speak with the property manager was was created by a ride lady who told me I would have to email the manager for assistance. It wasn’t until I called Hiltons Dimond Support team that the manager was magically available to speak with me. When I spoke the the manager he accused me of threatening the staff, and kept referring to my father as “ your daddy” but said it a creepy way as if he was insinuating something. He didn’t email see to apply Hilton rewards point to my account for the bad experience but not only has that not happened it also doesn’t make up for the horrible treatment my father and I received. This experience definitely has left a bad taste, and has me wondering if I should take my Dimond Status to another hotel chain. Shame on this location and Hilton for not treating your guest so poorly. Especially a Dimond Level Member!

The stay was good. The staff was polite and accommodating. The hotel was clean and secure even though the neighborhood is in a poor economic area of Hollywood. There is a Starbucks within walking distance, but do not walk at night unless you are young, strong, and healthy. The room key lock system was down for 48 hours during our stay, so the staff had to escort us to our rooms and let us in with a master key. This was resolved during our stay. It was inconvenient, but the hotel management and staff handled it well.

The hotel is located in a very nice area. There’s a convenience store near, a few fast food options, restaurants and very near from Hollywood Blvd. The staff was very friendly and in the mornings there’s some breakfast and is real nice. Yes, in the nights probably you will hear noises from the streets, specially cars speeding like they were in the movie fast and the fuirious, but hey, that’s LA! You get used to it! My first time in LA and I loved it!

Hampton Inn & Suites in Hollywood is a convenient location and easy to get to, just seconds off Santa Monica Blvd. The hotel is clean and in great condition. The rooms are spacious. The valet staff is excellent (kudos to Emmanuel for extra-attentive service). Front desk staff is friendly and effecient. One of the fastest checkins I've had in years! The rooms have great lighting, a comfortable desk, a mini-refrigerator that is quiet, and both electrical and USB outlets at the nightstand. The downside: cable TV is limited and the remote control must be used carefully lest you click to change channels but accidently press the main menu button. There are no channel numbers so you can't type in a channel, you must scroll. The only complaint I have is the street noise level. I stayed on the South side of the hotel and it seems like there was a party going on outside with loud music and lots of people. There is an Alcoholic Anonymous meeting center right below the hotel and I thought the noise was coming from there, but I am not positive. It was noisy until just after 3am on a Wednesday night.

The hotel is updated and spotless. The breakfast is fresh every day and very good quality. In my room the beds need a matress rotation or replacement. There were dips in the mattress from wear that made sleeping uncomfortable. Also, the guide for the TV did not populate until my second day there. The hotel is very good but the surrounding neighborhood was dirty with many homeless people laying on the street

Our stay here was pleasant overall. The free breakfast is nice with a great variety. There’s only a minor issue with the room service. We asked for one but came back late at night and found the housemaid never came. Thankfully, the front desk was able to accommodate that after we called.
