Breakfast had many options to choose from. Our room was very comfortable! The location is idea - almost everything you can imagine is walkable, even the train station! The patio bar on the top floor, was a plus! If we come back, we will definitely stay here again. Thanks for a great stay! Location!! Location!! Location!! Can not beat this hotel for being close to everything in Florence. There is an attendant at night by the door to monitor which made me feel very good. Check in went well. We were upgraded to connecting suites. Rooms were clean with nice amenities-shower gel, shampoo, cream, robes. Water in the mini fridge. Breakfast offers a nice variety with good service. Staff is wonderful!! Bar upstairs on roof has good drinks -expensive. Lots of good things to say. Cons: the rooms are very odd. We were in their new section which required two elevators. Limited storage in the room -no drawers and on closet with attached hangers. Odd. Bed is HARD as are the pillows-sleeping on bricks!! Staff in bar is professional but not friendly. There is a feeling of trying to be a 5 star but not knowing what that really means in terms of service so it comes off as cold. Saw the head of the restaurant only one time during our 4 day stay. Food is tasty and pretty but not hot. Walking to the room is a struggle after a long day.

This property is the perfect location for touring the attractions in Florence and for walking along the streets exploring the city. The breakfast is the best we have ever seen at a hotel and the service was impeccable in all areas of the hotel. The only somewhat negative thing would be the elevator is a bit tricky but we used the stairs most times so not a huge issue for us. The view from the restaurant and bar was amazing. Our room easily accommodated the three adults and the bathroom is super huge and well done. We look forward to visiting this hotel on our second visit to Florence in the future.

We had an amazing stay at Hotel degli Orafi, the location is good the breakfast is amazing! The only thing to improve is the elevator that is slow and at some times they use it for some service hotel things like taking out the trash.

This was a great property for its location in Florence and where we wanted to visit. Driving to the property required patience and not running over pedestrian. It was awesome that we were able to drop off the car and have staff valet it for us. They told us upfront it would require an hour notice to retrieve it and we didn’t need it until the day we left. The property is older so some of the carpet has full. But it was clean. The closing the room door does require a little force making but once inside I don’t hear other people “slamming” their doors. Small room as expected and reflected it’s age. Very accommodating with their amenities including a bottle of wine and feee t shirt as a personal touch. Of course they had disposable slippers which are awesome! Would say this is a spacious bathroom compared to another hotel. Interesting lack of shower door but understand the design was needed. The bed was stiffer than our usual but that’s more a personal preference. We had a great view and didn’t feel enclosed. It was pretty quiet, no outside/environmental distraction. No noise around us from neighbors. Felt safe. The property was so convenient right next to the Piazza Della signoria (5-10min away by walking). Plenty of stores and restaurants around. Te best part was breakfast! Staff was very attentive. The cappuccino and expresso was heavenly. Plus the options for breakfast was awesome and better than the US. Absolutely would stay again.

The hotel is an old monastery. There is a grace in staying here. The staff are wonderful. The breakfast room is a delight, frescoed ceilings and chandeliers. Good variety for breakfast. Tables overlook the Arno. The library on the second floor is beautiful, with portions of old frescos on the walls and it is full of leave-one take-one books. The rooms are spotlessly cleaned, beds comfortable, bathrooms updated. The fifth floor bar is a great spot to unwind after a day of walking and museums. It is an old building with a perfect location; it charmed us. It isn’t a modern hard lines and vacant spaces hotel. The rooms are comfortable, windows open to the alley. We just loved it and would stay here again and again.

Amazing location along the river, sandwiched between the Ponte Vecchio and the Uffizi, and a short walk to many of Florence’s highlights. We were in the new building which was very nice but lacking the charm of the original building. Breakfast was great and the staff were all lovely.

Lovely, lovely place. Location is 100% perfect for solo women traveler. Beds are hard but when a mattress topper is put on, they are very comfortable. The only downside is that rugs and upholstery need replaced as they are worn out, and faded. But it was immaculately clean and a robe, slippers and mini refrigerator are supplied. All staff were incredibly accommodating. I hated to leave but want to return someday, and I plan to stay there again.

Wonderful hotel with great service. But, our room was on the street side (River Arno side), and there was loud noise from vehicles and loud talking late into the nights (2AM at least) and then again early morning. I’d suggest asking for an interior room away from the street.

The location is great. I was able to walk to every tourist attraction, even Pizzale Michaelango was walkable. The hotel provided both modern convenience and sense of renaissance history. I had a room facing the river, the music at night was nice. The loud level is bearable to me and I loved to see and feel the party energy from a distance. The staff are efficient and friendly. They were able to accommodate my requests before my visit. They arranged for me a little surprise for my daughter’s birthday and started our weekend perfectly. Def will stay again if visiting Firenze in the future.

The hotel was in an excellent location for exploring the best of Florence…just steps from the Uffizi, Ponte Vecchio and Palazzo Vecchio. Staff was wonderful, friendly and accommodated my request for an early morning airport transfer by taxi and even had a boxed breakfast to go upon checkout at 4:30 am. Rooftop bar views were magical!

The hotel was kind enough to store our bags but one was damaged so badly that we had to buy another. We should have taken a photo of each of our bags prior to storing. When we showed the hotel manager he claimed we arrived with bags already damaged and refused to compensate us. It was an unfortunate ending to our stay

The Hotel Degli Orafi has been a home away from home for my 2 weeks solo trip. As you can see I made some friends while I was there, especially Nicolette. This place is a perfect location to explore Florence and day trips. I will definitely return to this hotel when I go back to Florence. All staffs were very friendly and helpful!

Check-in was initially dreadful. It took 15 minutes with 3 people manning the desk and only one other client. The room was unclean so we were offered another room but a downgrade from our suite but then eventually a beautiful room with a terrace overlooking the Ponte Vecchio. I didn't like having to assert but the outcome was an absolutely beautiful room.

Fantastic location! A bit busy with Ponte Vecchio right outside the door, but being able to enjoy the bridge or historic skyline at any time stepping right outside the front door, or from the restaurant, or from the rooftop bar, was spectacularly convenient. Easy access to sights and neighborhoods on either side of the Arno was wonderful and we especially loved the feel of Piazza della Passera where a trip down an alleyway just off the main roads (Borgo S. Jacopo or Via de' Guicciardini) seemed to teleport us to a different place! We were unaware that this was the actual property featured in the movie, A Room with a View, and that was a very cool connection. Maybe we will stay in that room next time around! Grazie mille!

Excellent location for sightseeing in Florence. Hardly a stones throw from the end of the Ponte Vecchio. Very clean and comfortable with helpful and friendly staff. Nice rooftop bar with views of the duomo and bell tower. They also gave us some free gifts as it was our 30th wedding anniversary.

The included breakfast was amazing. Was expecting a continental breakfast of coffee and rolls. They offered a full buffet of cereal, yougurt, a variety of fresh fruit, pastries, charcuterie, smoked salmon, choice of bread, eggs, bacon, sausages. Too many things to list down here. You are at risk of total loss of dietary discipline.

Loved all of it, location is beautiful, and the view from my window was awe-inspiring. Very kind service, nice rooms and amazing hall where the breakfast is served My only complaints: The rooftop bar was nice but you don't see a lot of the river and it is very small. You see the duomo though. The breakfast isn't anything amazing (which some reviews made it seem like). It's nice, and good perhaps for being Italian. But I had expected a lot more. There is wine as well as a hotel t-shirt put out in the room, like as if it was free. As far as I understood, it certainly wasn't and that feels a bit weird to try and trick people into buying something...

Friendly staff. Absolutely delicious breakfast with tons of choice. Lovely bar area. Best thing was it's proximity to the Ponte Vecchio and central position for the other tourist areas. The Ufitzi gallery is next door.
