I liked the hotel. The staff was just great. The breakfast was very nice. And I did feel safe in the area though it is an area with many businesses. I didn’t like that there's no driveway to the property. Was dropped off and had to walk about 150 feet tp and from the hotel for a cab. That really wasn't an issue but inconvenient with heavy luggage.

Sehr schönes Stadthotel, zentral gelegen, sauber und freundliches Personal. Frühstück war sehr gut und das Highlight ist die Dachterrasse mit Bar und einem unbeschreiblichen Ausblick.

Tbis hotel was fantastic. The breakfast was delicious with lots of variety. You can get free coffee or tea at the self serve coffee bar until 530 pm everyday. One downside is roof bar was noisy and lights on the side of the building were hard for me to sleep. Thank goodness for sleep pills and earplugs you may need both. Will stay here again next time in Athens;)

Nice hotel located a really short walk from to Monastiraki square and only 20 minutes walk from the acropolis. Essentially this is a great location for sightseeing. Staff are friendly an helpful and the view of the Parthenon from the top of the hotel is great. We paid a little more for a window view and it was worth it.

The rooms were very clean and beds comfortable. They had a wonderful buffet breakfast. Plus, the staff was wonderful. There was a very very nice woman at the desk when we checked in and she took the time to take us to our room and explain everything.

Stayed at ACS for the 5th time. Spotless clean rooms and courteous staff. They paid attention to my requests at the booking and I was glad to get a room accordingly. Breakfast was as fabulous as ever: rich buffet featuring lots of fresh local products and traditional pastries. Optimal location right at the central market halfway between Monastiraki and Omonia metro stations. Would book again.

It was my sixth stay in the last eight years since I keep visiting Athens. Every time they paid attention to my requests and preferences. Bed- and bathroom were spotless clean as ever. Bathroom really cramped, however it was functional and fulfilled my needs. Breakfast buffet offered a rich spread of fresh local products and was delicious. Walls seem to be somewhat thin, so you can hear your neighbours and they can probably hear you too. On the last day got kicked out by phone call from the reception at 11am. They stated that the international standard for check-out would no longer be 12am. Not an elegant gesture, but that being the Balkans, what should I have expected? Otherwise the staff was courteous, helpful and efficient.

The highlight was the professional and friendly staff who assisted in getting myself and my old dad to Athens airport after a taxi strike was announced without warning. Everything else was good: nice breakfast, clean rooms, comfortable beds and pillows! My room was a bit small, but not a deal breaker. Location was great.

Stay for 6 nights. Very comfortable room . Great house keeping and the breakfast was excellent . The breakfast ladies were the best , keeping all of the breakfast foods topped up and fresh.The front house are super helpful and friendly. .The hotel is walking distances to all tourist sites,shopping and restaurants. We both will happily stay at hotel on are next visit.

This hotel is basic so if you’re looking for luxury this isn’t the right fit. Rooms are clean, showers are powerful and there’s a fridge in the room. Just off the Main Street so reasonably quiet (Saturday night was quite loud but you’re in a big city so no complaints) Tea and coffee facilities are currently not in the rooms however this is meant to be happening by the end of the month (March 2024) Breakfast is decent, orange grapefruit juice or water, variety of tea, coffee machine (cappuccino espresso hot chocolate) bread, cold meats and cheese, yoghurt, fruit pastries and cakes. Alternate days offer sausage or bacon and beans are always available as well as scrambled and boiled egg. Great stay in a superb location for a few days in Athens.

We could walk by foot to the acropolis and we hat a beautiful view to acropolis from our room. And from the roof top of the hotel we had a wonderful view over Athens.

Staff at the property are outstanding. View from the room was amazing. Rooftop was chilly but the view was worth it. Would be wonderful in warmer weather. Breakfast was good. Lots of choices and I liked the Greek options. They had lots of seats but it did get full. good wifi. Room was smaller but fine for our needs. We enjoyed the area around the hotel and felt mostly safe but others may not. Lift is extremely small. Busy times were a wait. Temperature control in room was bad. Often times it was too hot. Room had street noise. Price/performance was good.

Breakfast was as fabulous as ever: rich buffet featuring lots of fresh local products and traditional pastries. Optimal location right at the central market halfway between Monastiraki and Omonia metro stations. Would book again.

It was my sixth stay in the last eight years since I keep visiting Athens. Every time they paid attention to my requests and preferences. Bed- and bathroom were spotless clean as ever. Bathroom really cramped, however it was functional and fulfilled my needs. Breakfast buffet offered a rich spread of fresh local products and was delicious. Walls seem to be somewhat thin, so you can hear your neighbours and they can probably hear you too. On the last day got kicked out by phone call from the reception at 11am. They stated that the international standard for check-out would no longer be 12am. Not an elegant gesture, but that being the Balkans, what should I have expected? Otherwise the staff was courteous, helpful and efficient.

The highlight was the professional and friendly staff who assisted in getting myself and my old dad to Athens airport after a taxi strike was announced without warning. Everything else was good: nice breakfast, clean rooms, comfortable beds and pillows! My room was a bit small, but not a deal breaker. Location was great.

The lady at checkin was exceptionally helpful and let me know that the cafeteria was open earlier than posted when I told her what time I was leaving. I have to say that breakfast blew me away as to how good it was. I could recommend the hotel just for that!

My initial reaction when the cab pulled up was "uh-oh" but I quickly learned this hotel was perfect for us. The street it is located on has a food market on one side of the hotel and a flea market on the other side. The hotel is located alongside a main street with stores and restaurants which lead you directly to Monastraki Square which is a convenient location for anywhere you want to go in Athens. The hotel was clean, the staff very helpful, and had a nice roof deck to enjoy the Acropolis view. An affordable hotel close and walkable to many Athens' sites.

Had an excellent stay at hotel. Well-maintained room and property, staff very pleasant and helpful, the included buffet breakfast very nice. Neighborhood somewhat of a negative, location in the food market area unattractive, but I was already aware of that from Trip Advisor reviews, and accepted it. Location very convenient to a major Metro station, and an easy walk to really get a good feel for the Athens city.

The property is very centrally located in the heart of town just next to the Plaka area. You have easy access to everything. There is a fruit and vegetable market selling wonderful dried fruits and nuts right on the side walk of the hotel doors which is very convenient.

Nice hotel but on a uncommon and little scary street. However inside is nice and the staff is nice. The elevator is really small and can only maximum 2 people. Close walk to the main area and the Acropolis. Overall a nice hotel for a nice budget.

Stay for 6 nights. Very comfortable room . Great house keeping and the breakfast was excellent . The breakfast ladies were the best , keeping all of the breakfast foods topped up and fresh.The front house are super helpful and friendly. .The hotel is walking distances to all tourist sites,shopping and restaurants. We both will happily stay at hotel on are next visit.

Amazing breakfast! The best we had in hotels so far. Room was small but comfortable with a view of the acropolis. We enjoyed being a little out of the city centre and the noise while still being within a 15min walk radius.
