Location is fine. Indoor Pool being closed since Covid 19 is not fine. Every room here is pet friendly which could be an issue if you have allergies but in four stays here, we have never seen evidence of pet hair or odor in any rooms. We chose a handicapped room but none were available at 6 pm. I now have to assist my wife off the toilet every single time. Thermostat on the wall is blank and not working but it’s so cool outside, comfortable inside the room, we just need a place to sleep and chose to say something at checkout.

The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, a hot breakfast was tasty, and handicap parking near my 1st level room. The also had free cofee available when I arrived around 3:15 pm near the front desk. Unfortunately, the indoor pool was closed and the ice maker didn't work very well.

Room looked like it hasnt been cleaned for weeks. Dust all over. Dry food on the desk/table. Dirty pillow covers. Sticky bathroom floor. Empty soap dispenser. Bad smell. Not a good expirience. Bed was comfortable though.

TV was not working. Only a few channels worked on and off. Hard to see picture and none of the channels were working. Told it was due to weather, but the next morning it was the same without the light rain from previous night. Next morning we were told it was because they had an outage recently. If that was the case, it would be working now that they are out of the outage. The air conditioning was very loud with high pitch noises and grinding sounds throughout the night. Disappointed that we spend 114 for this instead of just getting a motel. Especially with a sub-par breakfast.

We are frequent visitors of Marriott hotels. Our room in this Fairfield Inn was comfortable overall, with the exception of the pull-out sofa bed. The mattress was in horrible condition. One of my daughters slept on it...a bed of springs. It truly was terrible. And the room smelled musty and humid. Regardless, the room served our overnight purpose. But, if a guest is going to pay almost $200 for an overnight stay, the room should be comfortable for all, and without horrible smell.

A nice, soft bed, a great breakfast choice, nice & quiet. Our shower had absolutely no water pressure, very hard to shower. A 2nd night stand would of been nice, also some charging ports by the bed would be helpful.

The guy at the front desk bragged about how comfortable the mattress were . It turn out it was extra firm with a padded comforter on it. The bed was so hard that we didnt sleep hardly at all. Everything else was good but so many hotels are going to these extr firm mattresses. It is hard for us older people to sleep on them.

Thank you for a wonderful stay! The location was ideal for our last leg of our family vacation. The moment we walked into the hotel we were greeted by the staff and were checked in rather quickly. The atmosphere was very welcoming. Our rooms were exceptionally clean and comfortable. The onsite pool provided my family with the must needed swim to relax from a long day of driving. Breakfast was delicious thanks to Natasha! Worth every penny!

I made my reservation several days in advance . A handicapped assessable room with 2 queen beds was confirmed. I also called to make sure it was handicapped assessable and they said YES. When I got to the front desk to check in I asked the girl if it was handicapped assessable she said yes I checked in and carried ALL of our stuff in and went out to move my vehicle when I got back to the room husband said not handicapped and he had a really hard time getting off of commode, he also hurt his back because it was not handicapped but he had to use it. I went back to the front desk same girl and told her the room was not right she said they did not have any handicapped assessable rooms left. I said I made the reservation days ahead and it was confirmed she said sorry did I want her to check us out? Then she looked again they did have a handicapped assessable room with only one bed so we took that one.VERY miserable stay. So beware if you have to have handicapped assessable facilities because they don't seem to care at all. The housekeeping staff was very nice.

We stayed for 7 nights they clean our room only one time our last day. I called and ask for full service they never clean our room. Upon our arrival they ask if we want full room service and we said ever other day..upon our arrival some tv channels like locals news don’t work. They say they will fix it. Never did. Closet don’t have door.

Booked for double queen bed room but the hotel was overbooked and got stuck with a single queen suite with sofa bed once checked in. Gentleman at check in seemed very uninterested. The sofa bed was old and flimsy and very uncomfortable. The saving grace was the ladies at the breakfast, the ladies were interactive and a pleasure to be around. The choices for food was minimal, but felt welcomed with the ladies checking on guests.

Showed up after a 10 hour drive around midnight last night. The front desk guy told me they didn’t have my room because they were overbooked. Lied and said he didn’t have my phone number to warn me. I had made the reservation HOURS earlier. And since it was after midnight I couldn’t book anywhere else. He did have my number. It’s on the reservation. He was just too afraid to call me. 0/10. Do not stay here.

The location is just off the interstate and you can hear most traffic. The night we stayed there was a lot of wind and you could hear it. The continental breakfast is your normal hotel breakfast. If you just need a night to get some rest on a journey, it’s clean and safe.

The Good: Clean and comfortable stay. The Fairfield Inn meets the quality standards I expect from Marriott Fairfield brands. Easy check-in, great air conditioning, pleasant staff, good shower, and comfortable bed. The location is right near several roads ad highways that interchange through Texarkana. This is a good and a bad thing. The Not So Good: The location entry is confusing. There is only one entrance to the property, and it comes off the service road. You can easily miss the entry as it looks like it could go to the car wash adjacent to the hotel. The parking doesn't seem adequate for the size of the hotel; especially if there was a meeting going on at the time.

Very good hotel. Only problem is that the entrance is not well marked and it’s off the frontage road. If you miss it, you’ve got a mile loop around the other side of the interstate to get back. Watch carefully and slow down when exiting the interstate.

The television picture in our room was very dark, unable to connect to the Internet or Netflix TV channels. I had to move the furniture around and unplugged lights in order to plug in my phone and iPad iPad plugs When I went down to have breakfast at a quarter after nine this morning, the servers were putting away the food already and it was supposed to stay open until 930 and they complained whenever I said that, I wanted the breakfast to another server in the room behind the serving area I heard her whole conversation.

The best interstate hotel in the area for the best price with Hotels.com. I was able to use my credit and it just cost me $22. Wonderful scent in lobby and hallways, comfortable rooms, tub/shower combo, big vanity, fridge and microwave, big screen TV. Breakfast was good with big variety. Scrambled eggs, sausage, grits, oatmeal, waffle maker, yogurts, pastries, pineapple, cereals.
