Our stay was ok. The check in person was not very friendly. Our room was so hot and the ac would not work. They did change our room. Breakfast was good. Parking was not the greatest. Work trucks took the front parking. The side door would not open with the key so I had to walk around the building in the dark to the front door and did not feel very safe doing so.

The hotel has gone downhill over the last few years. They no longer have a hot tub, they charged me an extra $10 for a double queen room and they didnt have extra pillows/blankets. Printer was out of ink. Cookies are no longer serve yourself. Breakfast was decent.

I’m unsure how Expedia has excellent ratings on this hotel. It is very dirty, bathroom is moldy and leaks, The entire 4th floor smells like mildew this morning and we woke up to an intense rotten egg smell indicating sewer gas problems or gas leak. Front desk acted perplexed and neighboring rooms claimed they were having the same issues. We googled the hotel and found the same issues that we are experiencing on those reviews. The staff was lovely at first but not accommodating when discussing issues.

When I arrived at my room and opened the door I was met by a wave of warm musty air. There was a dehumidifier in the room working hard. I turned the a/c down hoping the air would dry up but it did not. After the first night, everything in my suitcase felt damp, bed shhets and carpet also. It was not a pleasant experience for a 3 night stay.

Property was perfectly fine. Only thing was our room was dirty on bathroom floor and shower curtain for some reason was stained with a black stuff (eww). However, bed and pillows were comfortable. They offer decent breakfast, not bad at all.

The hotel is that, a hotel. The breakfast was incredible. The only real issue is that the carpet in the room was filthy and smelly. There were red stains everywhere. The room was roomy for the price. Please remove those nasty carpets please.

This motel is fairly new but has not been cleaned or well maintained at all. It smells terrible. We had to change rooms because the smell of mold was so bad in the dust room they gave us. The second room was not much better. The showers have mild around the doors. The sheets looked clean in the 2nd room they gave us but not the first room

The rooms were fairly clean. The heating and air conditioning were confusing. there were 2 thermostats and we never did figure out how they worked. The bed was not very comfortable. It was lumpy. Breakfast had a good selection. No bananas though. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Pros: Check in was a breeze with a friendly greeter. Serve yourself breakfast was a hot meal. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Parking was easy. The room was clean (I think—it was hard to see. See “Cons”.) Cons: Furniture needs updating since the desk chair had an actual hole in it. But my biggest “con” was the lighting. I’ve never seen such dim lightbulbs. The bathroom vanity had some fluorescent bulbs but good luck seeing in the shower.

Hotel itself was nice. Beds and pillows were comfy. Location was a bit isolated. Our room needed the light to be fixed and the fan made a weird sound so couldn’t be used as white noise. Those issues have to do with the age of the property. The breakfast was amazing though. Fresh made food-real food-not prepackaged. My son particularly liked the Texas shaped waffle.

This was a very good Country Inn. The location was excellent - close to the highway but not noisy. The staff was superb - especially Joy, my GSA who checked me in. She was professional, friendly, and very helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was also excellent - both staff and food. I wish every Country Inn was this good.

We live locally, and have had to use this hotel, a couple of times for power outages or utility failures. They are always so gracious, and understanding of our situation. The beds are so comfortable towels are soft, and the staff cannot be compared. I highly recommend This as a place to stay for business or pleasure or just when you don’t have any electricity!

Staff was very green. Didn’t answer the phone when calling to let know would be late, was very impolite stressing a policy that has not been demanded in prior recent visits. Policy of requiring license plate number at check in is very inconvenient where most hotels require make and model and people don’t have their license plate memorized.

Crystal at the front desk was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a notch above the standard hotel breakfast. My only complaint was the sink in our room did not drain well and the little coffeemaker did not grab the plastic piece that holds the coffee. It actually fell out while making coffee. Otherwise it was a great place, excellent location, and superior staff and service.

This is our go-to when we stop in Texarkana. It's right off the interstate, so it's convenient, but it's also surprisingly quiet and safe. Plenty of dining and shopping options within a couple of miles. Room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was pretty standard but good, great customer service. Would definitely stay here again.

We stay at a lot of hotels. This one stands out for many reasons. It was clean both in the room, pool, and common areas. The buffet breakfast was well organized and delicious. The staff was friendly and kind. Check in and out was really easy. It is also located near a lot of restaurants and stores although they are not walkable. Our favorite part was the suite. My husband, daughter, and I shared the bedroom that is separate. My teen son had the living area with sofa bed. He was pumped to have his own space.

Everything was fine — the room Was comfortable and clean. My only complaint would be about the breakfast. It’s advertised as open from 7-10:30 on Sunday. We arrived shortly before 10 to find most of the food gone and the staff beginning to close up. What was left of the eggs and potatoes were cold. By 10:10, everything was put away and cleaned up. Anyone who showed up after that was out of luck. I find this unacceptable.

Check in was very easy and quick. Cookies were available. Room was clean and comfortable. Fridge and microwave in the room. The best part was the breakfast offerings. Biscuits and gravy, eggs, sausages, bacon. Waffles, oatmeal with toppings, even yogurt parfaits, pastries, toast, Cold, cereal, milk, juice and coffee. I was there 1/2 hour before breakfast closed and all items were plentiful. We have stayed here on 3 separate occasions and highly recommend Country Inn and Suites when staying in Texarkana.
