You had to ask the desk worker to even be able to use the pool and be able to unlock the door to it. There were people just hanging out drinking all in the parking lot in the middle of the day. I would not return. Unsafe and sketchy.

Found a small spider in the baby crib. The high chair in the breakfast area was dirty. Disappointing that the pool was out of order but I guess that happens. Otherwise quiet and fine.

The overall property could use some upgrades. They also have limited parking. While convenient for visiting LSU, this wasn’t my best experience with a Holiday Inn Express. The bathroom needs a total overhaul - I am grateful that I brought my flip-flops.

Place was clean and easily accessed. The only issue we had was the swimming pool did not have working lights in the pool or above, which is a safety factor that needs to be looked into. The pool was one of the reasons we booked the place so that our grandson's could have some pool fun while we were there.

Actual room was fine but as we were checking in, a pimp and his girls were coming in. They are clearly regulars by the way the check in guy treated them. Parking around the facility was sketchy as well, felt very uneasy leaving anything from our 10 day trip in the car.

Breakfast was great. The front desk was very polite and helpful. The area around the hotel didn’t offer a lot so it was a quiet stay. The room was clean and the pool area was clean. My only complaint is the air in the work out room was not working and it was too hot. 85 degrees.

There were giant dead bugs under the bed, dead lizards in the night stands, the tv did not work, and there was mud and grass coming out of the shower.

We were placed in a first floor handicap room which is ok but the following wasn’t. Our sheets had holes in them. The bathtub was dirty and the drain was super slow so when showering you stood in water. The bathtub was also very slippery. Whatever was pit down had worn off and was dangerous. We ended up putting a towel down to keep from slipping and then with the slow drain it wasn’t a pleasant experience.

I stayed at this property 4-27-25 and my window curtains were broken and then I came home with bed bugs. I had to go to the doctor to find out why I was having all these random bumps on my body. I didn’t have this until I left this hotel

The location was excellent, and there was ample parking. Breakfast was good. Hotel was not very clean. We had to clean our bathroom, because there was sticky stuff on the floor (we travel with a few cleaning supplies to disinfect our room). Hallways needed cleaning, too.

Staff on arrival in the evening was not there. Said would be back on 15 min. Then there were not enough towels in the bathroom. Had to go down and get them. They were not folded. Said did not have enough staff to fold which was fine as long as clean but was odd. Bathroom sink in room smelled like butt crack! It was awful! I am thinking they are short staffed and just doing minimal job on the rooms. Elevators were super dirty and so were the walls. Just seems like bad management and bad attitudes of staff. On positive note the bed was comfortable. Could be a nice stay if was cleaned properly and staff was more professional.

The property is the same as you would expect of any Holiday Inn, The staff was so friendly and accommodating. We came in a bit late and was looking to go the fast food restaurant across the street. I asked at the front desk clerk if the inside was open for service. We had missed it by minutes. The clerk looked the number up on the computer, called them on the phone and made arrangements for us to walk over and place an order. The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable. We would stay again.

Breakfast was good. AC in room did not work and there was no one available to fix it. Front desk personal came up to try and fidget with it but nothing changed. All other rooms were booked so no option to switch rooms. Everyone ended up sleeping with minimal clothing as it was extremely hot and humid in the room. Room temp was like 86 by the time we woke up.

Mrs Jessica was so sweet. We had trouble with the ac in our room and she switched rooms for us. The only thing we didnt care for was the breakfast and having to switch rooms at 12 am.

First was given a room when I arrived that was occupied walked in on someone as they where doing there thing. Had to go get assigned another room was not an experience I never dealt with before. Make sure to use all locks on the door so no one can walk in on you.

Terrible. Our room window shades were stuck down so the room was dark all the time. Breakfast was supposed to be at 6:00 am. At 6:30 still no breakfast, no hot water, no coffee. About 20 people waiting. We left. We will never stay here again. We had stayed here before. It has gone downhill fast.

I did not actually get to stay at the property as the room I reserved days before my stay and confirmed the day of my stay by phone was sold before I arrived. I arrived in the evening to a sold out hotel. Due to various events that weekend, the only available rooms were in a not so great motel. Not the best stay with children. Do not recommend Holiday Inn and will never book with one again.

The property is the same as you would expect of any Holiday Inn, The staff was so friendly and accommodating. We came in a bit late and was looking to go the fast food restaurant across the street. I asked at the front desk clerk if the inside was open for service. We had missed it by minutes. The clerk looked the number up on the computer, called them on the phone and made arrangements for us to walk over and place an order. The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable. We would stay again.

I’ve never checked into a a property so unprofessional and unprepared to receive guests that are selling out your property. I’ve never ever not been able to check into my room at 3:00pm. Front desk was rude about my on time check in at 3:00. My room wasn’t ready along with 20 other guests. We were there for a football game and had to check in at 11:00 at night and wait in line for 20 other guests to check in there rooms as well. I have never spent the type of money for one night stay and be treated so unprofessional.

OK property. Mostly contractors staying there (during the workweek). Receptionist needs training: We arrived early and she simply said "Check-in is at _____." No, "Let me see if any rooms are finished early." No, "Sorry we can't process your early." No, "Have some coffee or tea while you wait. (We found the coffee bar ourselves.)

When we arrived at the room that was given someone was in the room, so the clerk assigned us another room which someone was in that one as well. We were finally able to get a room after the third time trying. I was disappointed because we had to split up from our kids and put them on one end of the hallway and we were on the other. We originally had a suite room with two queens and a sofa bed to accommodate our party.

We had a wonderful experience at this hotel. Italy checked us in, and was extremely pleasant. Italy recommended a restaurant to us, that was amazing. I don’t have enough time to go into detail about what a wonderful employee Italy is, and how kind and helpful she was for us. Will definitely stay here in the future, it’s the perfect location to LSU. My kids loved the pool, and enjoyed it.

Great location. Just few miles from the Baton rouge downtown but away from the city. Room was okay in terms of the size and amenities. We would have liked more if the sink could have been outside of the bathroom. It's tough in the morning if a family is staying together. Overall a good stay.

Great stay until about 5:45am the fire alarm woke us up and we didn’t get any notification whether it was real or a drill. Decided to get up and just leave since it was departure day anyway, walk down stairs to smoke & “a fire in the kitchen” with fire fighters and a cop. Front man told us there was a fire in the oven in the kitchen. Ate breakfast, biscuits & gravy, it was good. But being woke up at 5:45am to a fire alarm was NOT IDEAL. I understand mistakes happen, but after being out until 11:30 from the LSU game I WAS TIRED. All in all, clean place and very nice front desk staff.
