Bed was terrible, room was clean but the pool was disgusting; sand and dirt on the bottom, bugs floating, bugs around the pool piled up. It could have used a good cleaning. I felt dirty in the pool and made my kid get out and then she sat it a pile of ants that she didn't see. It was gross.

We had a wonderful stay! The hotel was super clean, and every staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful. Even though it was a busy weekend with a travel baseball team staying there, the staff stayed on top of everything. The boys spent a lot of time in the pool, and it got a bit dirty and cloudy — but the staff acted quickly to clean and maintain it so all guests could enjoy it. I really appreciated their attentiveness. I would definitely stay here again!

Very comfortable beds and pillows. Very clean and updated. The staff was nice and helpful. The breakfast had great options including cheese omelets, sausage, biscuits & gravy, waffles, oatmeal with toppings, juices, muffins, and an assortment of breads. My boys said the gym had good workout equipment. This was a wonderful place to rest up during our road trip. Thanks for a comfortable stay!

Property was overall nice but while my son and I were working out in the fitness room the treadmills just stopped all of a sudden and we both almost fell. It could have been worse. Idk if the breaker tripped or what.

I needed a room close to LSU because I had to move my Tiger out of the dorm. The distance was not bad at all even during traffic. The hotel looked well maintained outside & parking was great. Plenty of parking spaces & very safe area. The hotel & room are updated (only thing was the wall area by shower showed some core) but all in all it was a quiet and pleasant stay. I will definitely stay again.

Stayed on an overnighter while driving from Texas to Florida. Arrived quite late, check-in was seamless and friendly, (good luck with the career in Dentistry!), room was clean, tidy, functional. Easy to get too off I-10, safe and secure well lit parking, handy for gas if needed on your journy. Overall, excellent value for money.

Everything was great....except there was a vehicle parked in the handicapped spot at the entrance which I suspect was an employee. It displayed no handicapped plate or hanging handicapped plate. Wasn't an issue for me, but my wife has trouble with walking distances.

We were in town for a baseball tournament. Our room was nice, clean and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast offering was more than I expected and delicious. The front desk was very accommodating by extending the checkout time for us. The area also had nearby convenient stores and fast food restaurants. The parking lot was well lit and we felt safe. We will stay here again in the future.

I've stayed here many times and was always impressed with the staff and the cleanliness of the hotel. Not this time. This place has completely gone downhill. My room was filthy. My white socks were black from walking on the carpet, light switches covered in who knows what. Lamp shades stained. Dust everywhere. No toiletries in the bathroom, no sink stopper in the bathroom sink and the entire room smelled like mildew. If I hadn't had the long day I had I would have immediately checked out and found another place to stay. I will never be staying here again. GROSS

When we first checked in there were stained sheets on the bed, the next day we saw a roach going up the wall. I was rinsing out the sink and caked up dirt was washing out from above the overflow as if the sink had never been wiped down. The breakfast selection was not very good, and parking was an issue, after 10:30 the lot is nearly full

Room was switched 3 times due to uncleanliness. Hair in the sheets, stains on the sheets. However, the nice woman who worked there, made sure the 3rd room was clean before we entered into it and gave my children comped treats and drinks to apologize. Housekeeping must have went very downhill since the last time I stayed here.

The room was nice and comfortable. It was pretty clean, however, the bedskirt needs to be washed or replaced. You can't see the stuff with the naked eye, but with a uv flashlight you can see everything. Everything looked clean except for that. Also, the fridge needs to be leveled. Water pressure is not great.

The property was very clean. However, the rooms were not quiet from other people on the property. There were several people coming in later in the evening and they were yelling and screaming and nothing was done about it. The doors were extremely loud when they were being shut in the hallway. Not a great place to get any sleep. We were on the first floor and that might have made the difference.

The property gave an outside appearance of new. However, after staying in room 109 for 3 days and 2 nights we will never choose Laquinta again. There was no hot water in the bathroom sink the entire stay. And the shower gave warm water night 1 but the next morning and remainder of the stay the water was freezing cold. There was a white foamy liquid that slow dropped from the roof to the room floor. Ew would not recommend

One night stay. No big issues. Room could be cleaner. Shower dirty old couch, and floor was slightly sticky. Lots of road noise. Nothing too unexpected from roadside hotel. Area felt safe, staff was friendly and bed was comfortable.

I prepaid full amount for the room on Hotels.com. When I checked into the hotel, the employee (Kranthi) told me that I needed to pay an additional $89. I had to call Hotels.com customer support, and 30 minutes later I was finally able to check-in. Kranthi was not friendly and had zero customer service skills. We finally got to the room, and upon opening the door we saw a water beetle running towards the fridge. In the morning, I went to get a bagel and it had mold on it. This place is overrated. I'd avoid next time.

Absolutely ridiculous to show up with a confirmed room only to be told it was cancelled earlier and I should have received a notification but still have yet to. No other room available even after waiting an hour as the clerk kept saying she would find me a room. Ended up having to drive 4 hours home during the night due to horrible service by Expedia and LaQuinta Port Allen.

We came in for the LSU football game. First time to stay here and I was impressed. The place was clean and well kept. The room was nice. Breakfast had a lot of choices, but I just had coffee! The staff were all friendly and went put of the way for a special request. Overall, a very nice place and we would definitely stay there again!

I like that the room was warm and beautiful. I didn't like that we were staying on the top floor at the end of the hallway, across the emergency stairs. Our room faced a parking garage that kept the noise in, from the interstate (I-10). The traffic noise was horrible, and I couldn't sleep.

The hotel was very clean and nicely furnished. The breakfast was very good with several hot options. The only downsize is the luggage carts. They were small, like the kind you have at an airport. We had to make 2 trips. I would stay here again.

Second stay…first stay had such low water pressure, showering took 40 minutes. Breakfast was good in volume, poor in choice. Only egg was cold hard boiled. Steam tray had bacon, potatoes and biscuits. 2 waffle machines. Only three dining tables (2, 2-tops and one 4+ top. Then a large communal bar height affair and a cocktail type grouping..,poorly thought out. Hot water was all but gone by 1000 hrs, and again, less than exciting pressure even on ground floor. Very clean, newish, comfy bed. Ironing board was a joke.

Room was clean and comfortable. King “suite” with pull out couch had 2 TVs in the room - the kids loved it! Breakfast had a lot of options - cheese omelets, sausage, biscuits and gravy, waffles, bagels, muffins, yogurt, bananas, and a few other things. Our 11 year old said “Can we stay here every time we have to come to Baton Rouge?”

This was a very comfortable hotel with nice amenities. It was quite and had plenty of room outside for my service dog to run. I only wish there was a way to keep the AC fan running all night. The breakfast was ok and they had run out of eggs before I got down. Selection was limited although I saw guests with other things when I came back in after packing my car. Oh well. Otherwise it was great and I'd stay here again if I were in the area BTW, the happy hour was really good with cold beverages, beer and chips and salsa. How cool!!!
