Overall the cleanliness was good. Several times the elevator had food dropped in the corners. Biggest “complaint” was the delay of opening the indoor pool that was being shocked with chlorine and later had to be delayed for weather. When we got to the pool the chlorine was so strong people were having to leave from it burning their eyes and giving a headache. All the staff were so kind and helpful, one manager even lent me her own personal lint roller! Would stay again for sure.

Everything was good. Breakfast was also great. The swimming pool had warm water so my daughters could enjoy it in the evening. Only a small annoying thing is a little clogged the sink.

The only thing that I didn’t like was that we wanted to get into the pool but the room the pool was in had a strong smell of chlorine and you couldn’t be in there more than 30 mistes because the smell was so strong.

Lobby is updated, Rooms are dated as well as bathroom. Parking slots fill up quickly. If you comeback to the room late, you have to park elsewhere. Location is close to attractions at and around Lookout mountain.Staff was friendly and helpful.

The staff were exceptionally helpful. I appreciate that in this post-Covid era when good staff are hard to find. Also the room was clean and quiet. Would be helpful to extend the parking lot so people don't have to parallel park on the road coming to the hotel.

Overall stay was good. Comfortable bed, nice and clean linens. Bathroom has everything we need. Breakfast included is a plus. Coffee and hot water for tea were always available. Indoor pool, and small gym available. Friendly staffs. Nice location.

This hotel is in close proximity to Lookout Mountain, Ruby Falls, and Rock City. The hotel was clean and neat and the staff was very courteous and helpful. We enjoyed the indoor pool after a long day of walking.

Our room had bedbugs and we got bitten - it’s so gross. I told the girl at the front desk the room needs to be fumigated. She initiated a return of our money.

The room itself resembled only what I could describe as “a hotel room if someone had only been loosely described one in the distant past” the carpet, while sticky, felt as if it was holding the floor beneath us together. Multiple times throughout the night the smell of urine appeared and disappeared. The mattresses were sloped, but it’s summer and I do not ski. The pillows have seen better days, and I surmise those better days were 10 years ago. Every piece of furniture looked as though it came from a halfway home. The bathroom felt damp and sticky before we had run the shower, and the flickering light from the mirror was the cherry on top. This entire hotel felt as if it were an afterthought.

I was severely shocked when I opened the door of the accommodation. The old smell vibrated. When I opened the bathroom door, the red smell from the water poked my nose. Messy carpet. I opened the window and ventilated for a long time. But I forced myself to spend the night with the smell and a stinging feeling. I don't recommend this accommodation. I think we need to keep the carpet replacement and the facilities clean. Please don't hurt the traveler's feelings.

I enjoyed my stay, the common areas were all clean and well maintained. The amenities were great. My family enjoyed the indoor pool and the breakfast is one of the better complimentary meals I’ve had in a hotel. For the location and price point this was an excellent stay and I would recommend it to others. That said, the room itself could have been better, the furniture all had obvious signs of wear and damage and the carpet had a lot of stains. While the room didn’t feel dirty, it also didn’t feel like it had been deep cleaned any time recently either. The windows were covered in streaks and handprints and when a pillow fell on the floor it came back with a lot of hair that wasn’t from my family.

Arrived late after driving a really long time. Our air conditioning didn’t cool the room all night. After waking, we realized it wasn’t working and the room was filthy. It hadn’t been cleaned-only beds were made. Floor was dirty and food left in refrigerator. Hotel couldn’t do anything about it because we booked through a third party. Very dissatisfied.

The room was tiny, furniture beat up, heat would not turn on and off automatically, the TV controller didn’t work. I have higher expectations of Marriott hotels. Might as well stayed at a motel 6 for a fraction of the price.

Our first room smelled so strongly of chlorine/bleach when we opened the door that we asked to be moved. The 2nd room had no odor but both beds had a sinkhole on the “Inside” of the mattress (closest to the center of the room). Had to sleep on the other side to avoid it. Mattress obviously needs replacing. Also was standing in water while showering as tub did not drain well. Would not stay here again.

Pretty average. King bed Room was kind of smaller than I’m used to. 3rd floor room facing the Highway. Lots of road noise. Room underneath me must have had their heat on 75, it got up to 74 in my room on a 50 degree night, had to turn the AC on at 4am. The people above were heavy walkers, sounded like they were stomping around at night and in the morning. Didn’t get much sleep here which is my highest priority on the road. I was a little surprised based on the high rating of this place.

When I booked this reservation, the pictures of the property portrayed something different than the reality of the property. While the building was kept clean, it seems to be in serious need of renovation. I noticed some water damage at the top of the entrance to the lobby, carpet and wall damage in the hallway of our floor. Also I could see some signs of age in the our bathroom, and our bathroom door felt like it was dragging on the floor.

We got there and the air condition did not work. We did not know that after we turned it on we went to sleep well the AC never kept the room cold and didn’t blow any air asked for a new room and they were unable to give us one. The staff lady at the desk said she was sorry but she could give us a fan so we took the fan and didn’t sleep the rest of the night. I don’t think I would ever stay there again, she said it was all on Expedia, but the problem was the hotels air condition did not work not Expedia fault. When I asked to get some things settled, they said I would have to go to Expedia that it wasn’t their problem.

Over all stay was not bad. Stayed 1 night while visiting the area. My family and I checked in late around 10 pm. Night clerk was not at the desk when we arrived. I had to was over 15 minutes for her to finally come from the back room, during which time another person entered trying to get a room. When the clerk finally came out she was short and rude with me. Just asked me reason for staying there my name on the reservations and then tossed the room key down on the counter with out saying another word. I have stayed in numerous hotels in past and have never experienced a clerk this rude before.

When we checked in, the front office member didn't say anything about the login info for wifi, time and location for breakfast. When we got to our room i noticed wrappers between the nightstands and bed. I called the front desk to ask about breakfast and mention the wrapper. I had to leave a voice-mail and never heard back. When we returned to the room, it hadn't been made up. I went to the front desk to ask and the woman told me they only clean after 2 nights. I asked if that was posted anywhere and she turned a sign so i could see it. I hadnt seem it at check in. I expressed my disappointment that the room had trash when we arrived and she simply said she was sorry. I got frustrated and said I had paid less and received better service, she smirked and said she was sorry I felt that way. I called Bonvoy customer service and was encouraged to find out the manager on duty. The woman I talked to earlier is the Front Office Manager and she gave me the name of the manager. Really disappointed with the service received for the price paid. It's not any the room being made up, it's about the utter lack of customer service.

Our trip began VERY unprofessionally with a host who was chewing a gum, poorly welcomed us and did not bother to look for our reservation. She was also adamant that we “probably booked with the neighboring hotel, if that was her bet” only to determine that she had misspelled the name. An honest mistake, sure, but the chomping of the gum was an added layer of frustration as we tried to resolve the issue. Once we got to the room, the light that greeted us was not working and there were bugs (they looked like ladybugs, but they are not) everywhere. We grabbed and killed at least 3 before bed our first night and several more throughout our stay. The coffee was not nearly as bold as it suggested and did not do what it was intended to do. Trying to end on a positive not, however, the young lady who did the breakfast each day was a delight and extremely friendly. She engaged us in conversation, suggested things in the area for us to do, and remembered us among all the faces she worked with.

The young man who checked us in was extremely helpful and friendly. He gave us recommendations for local dining and came immediately when we had issues with our tv. He was a very good ambassador for the hotel.

This hotel was great. It was close to plenty of shopping options, especially with a Walmart right across the street. Lookout Mountaina and other tourist attractions were close by. Not too far from downtown. Great location, I would stay here another time. A great anniversary hotel, breafsst was pretty good as well.

The view from the property is gorgeous! The hotel was clean and the room was clean. We rested very well but we were dog tired. The breakfast was wonderful and the coffee was hot and kept full. We were refreshed and ready to hit the road. Ziggy at the front desk was kind and helpful. We will stay here again.

Excellent location, on a hilltop with great views facing front. 10-15min from downtown and 10min from inclined railway. Indoor pool was nice. Breakfast could have few more options (for ex no muffins and only one fruit) and they could do a better job ensuring items don’t run out. Otherwise everything was good.

The staff were all very polite , accommodating ,& smiled. The facility was overall clean & beds were comfy. The breakfast most definitely can use an upgrade. I didn’t like having to waste a whole premade sandwich just to get sausage for my eggs.

The hotel was clean and bright inside, the room was quiet. Check-in was very easy. The breakfast was an 8 out of 10. As a gluten-free vegan, I was very pleased there was a nondairy milk and good and healthy toppings for my oatmeal. My husband enjoyed his breakfast except he isn't a sausage personal and no bacon was available. They are still using foam plates and plasticware, and for the price, I would expect it to be at least as nice as a Drury Inn.
