The staff was amazing! Breakfast was lacking a little bit, but it was free so acceptable. The pool area was nice but could’ve used some lounge chairs. All they have are tables with regular chairs.

The hotel needs to replace their grill. I tried cooking on it. Only one burner is working and it took a lot longer to cook on due to the lower heat.

One of the nicest to place to stay . Updated carpets. Updated and spacious rooms and very quiet . They had coffee available throughout the day at the lobby . They also have a little but neat gym and pool . It’s closer to the “The athletics club Colony so convenient for those soccer families as well for those looking for close by restaurants and pubs.

Hello there, had a okay stay. Unfortunately the pool was closed so not fun for my oldest son that turned 7 during our stay and our view was right out front of the pool area.

The rooms are big and were clean. The breakfast was ok, had better had worse. The pool was disgusting. Literally had dead rabbits in the skimmers. The desk was told about it and nothing was done. Saw the same dead rabbit floating in the pool the next morning. The area though is good. Lots of restaurants and shopping and 2 minutes from Top Golf. It definitely wasn't the worst I've stayed in but I'd probably choose a different hotel next time.

There wasn’t one thing that I thought needed to be better. We enjoyed our stay during such a busy weekend, Texas Grand Nationals. If we ever come back we will definitely be staying here again!! One of our favorite was the buffet of FREE breakfast. And of course the pool/hot tub being open even in March, kids loved it.

It was so comfortable and quiet, and they were constantly cleaning. Breakfast was good, too.

We had cockroaches, took photos, told front desk about it, and got no response. See another cockroach the next day, this time I pick it up. Call desk again, just get a sorry. Wife goes down to front desk who is talking to the manager on the phone and puts the living cockroach on the front desk for further proof. So on our depart day we had to recheck all our luggage, pack & play, everything, for bugs, least we bring it to the next hotel and/or home. They say they can't help because I booked the 3-night stay on a 3rd Party...Hotels.com, really?!? Gave my wife the hotel manager's number and sent up a vacuum. **The amount of our TIME WASTED on our vacation to my brother's wedding was ridiculous.** Additionally, Fridge didn't work upon check-in which was a minor hassle, but with a toddler and pre-k kid, we had to adjust our schedule, milk etc. Also the light in the bathroom was flickering immediately and needed to be replaced, again minor hassle, but we had to deal with it with the kids sleep schedules at night and morning until it could be replaced. Couldn't get replaced until maintenance started his morning shift. The Breakfast Crew Service and food offerings and coffee/drinks were fantastic.

property is nice, just dated and in need of updates and bugs. A little beetle and long black bug. We asked for a late check out, but they required a $50 fee. Of course, we passed. When in the area, we will not stay here again

Soap was stuck on the shower wall. The tub stopper was broken. The sofa had a weird smell on it. The air didnt seem to flow into any room other than the bedroom. The screen was off on the window

The price was a lot higher than I was quoted on the website. The bathroom was very dirty and the house keeping didn't change the sheets.

This is our second stay and each time it has been exceptional. The staff is always friendly and the room is extremely clean. It best fits our needs for the proximity of our visit to The Colony. We would stay here again if the occasion presents itself.

The hotel is nice. The only problem is the beds were bad. We cut our stay short by a day because it was killing our backs if we stayed any longer we’d have to see a chiropractor.

The hotel was big enough for what we needed with a family of five. However, the beds were extremely uncomfortable.They need to replace their mattresses, and that made this day a little hard on those of us that are older.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Residence Inn! The room was clean, bed was comfortable, and staff was friendly. I was in the king room with the kitchen and it was spacious. The location was also great. I would recommend!

Beds mattress was sinking in even on sofa bed. Other than that good hotel over all.

The room was pretty clean for an older hotel. A little outdated, but it was fine for my husband, my son and me to come look for apartments in the area for my son who’s graduating from college. My husband and my bed was pretty comfortable, but my son didn’t love the fold out sofa bed. The weather got really cold while we were there, below freezing, and the heat did keep our sweet warm, even though we were on a corner. But the temperature control was a little challenging to maneuver with the cold weather since it didn’t have a completely auto switch that would switch back-and-forth between cool and heat. It had to be on one or the other. Pretty quiet hotel from our experience without the traffic noise being too loud even though one of our windows faced the 121 direction. The staff was all very nice, and helped us to leave one night earlier than what we had made our reservation for, because my son needed to get back to our city. They were very reasonable and did not charge us a one night penalty. The breakfast was pleasantly surprising… Fairly normal except they had some gluten-free muffins and dairy, free oat milk, which I personally appreciated. And they had some good fresh fruit as well, which we all appreciated, Coffee was fairly decent too. Overall, we would stay again if we needed something inexpensive in that area.

love the spacious rooms so great for famlies

Had a very easy check in, the room was great. Had a modern TV with even Netflix. Bed and pillows were comfy. Bathroom could use an update and a better clean in the shower but overall still would give it a good review. Loved the products offered and the rest of the hotel was very kept.

Had a terribly loud room behind the elevator which was remedied but needed to change room. Breakfast should be earlier and more consistent with industry standards for business or family.

No awning when dropping off passengers. Manager parks their car out front of the building so no one can pull in. Needed extra pillows and blankets and had to call multiple times.

This property was great! We really enjoyed our stay, and we will likely be back with our kids. There were lots of amenities and great breakfast. Staff is very friendly and helpful, and the whole place is very clean. Our room was spacious like a small apartment. The only issues we had were that the TV in our room was pretty difficult to figure out (seemed like there were two programs on it fighting each other), the front desk didn’t answer calls from our room, and we never received the extra blanket we asked for. These were minor issues since we weren’t in the room a ton, but could be more annoying for someone staying multiple nights.

On arrival the property and staff were great, but it soon turned. The room smelt terrible. We used the pull out bed in the couch and asked for a blanket, they brought a duvet instead. Later we went back down and asked for two pillows, they stated they would bring them, 30 mins passed nothing, so we called they stated pillows were on there way. Hour passes, went back down to the front desk, said they’d bring them, and after an hour and a half I called again to be informed there were no pillows in the entire hotel. I asked if they could borrow one form another room as we were only staying a night, and they refused. Let’s skip to breakfast, it was more than disappointing. Went to pour almond milk in my coffee to find lumps coming out, it was rancid! I brought it to the worker and she said “ok and” then walked away. No apology. The juice machine needs a good cleaning inside because the juice wasn’t right.

The room itself was ok, the breakfast was terrible, we could deal with that though. My problem is that I booked & paid for my room through Hotels.com, & upon checkout my card that should have been used only for incidentals was charged for my room. Supposedly they reversed it & it wasn’t going to clear my account, well it did on Wednesday Morning & again this morning. So not only did i pay Hotels.com, i also paid Residence Inn twice for my room. The hotel has not been very helpful in getting this resolved or giving me answers as to why i was charged twice. I have called numerous times with no answers or callbacks from a manager. Don’t book here! Save yourself your money & go elsewhere!!

the staff was incredibly friendly, probably the nicest people we met in the area. they actually greeted us with smiles and made conversation.

Caylon was excellent. We had intially asked for an early check in, but the Hotel.was booked the night before. We sat in the lobby area waiitng for our room to ready Caylon made sure we taken care of offering us water etc. Caylon is excellent

This place was great for a quick stayover and low needs. Clean property and room, friendly and professional staff, easy check-in process.

Nice clean very comfortable room. Check in process took forever, and guess we caught the front desk worker on a bad day. Bad attitude and did not explain anything about check out time, breakfast, etc. Just handed us room keys and began talking with another off duty worker hanging out at the front desk.

Overall it’s a good hotel, nice staff, free breakfast is a good option 2-3 minutes drive around to access many restaurants.

The hotel was great, but contrary to Expedia’s information, it is not close to DFW and they do not have a shuttle. The hotel and staff are marvelous.

We found this hotel about a year ago..we do a lot of sports travel in the area and this has become our new "go to". Great walking distance to restaurants, spacious rooms, and overall always a pleasant stay

Very nice room for the money we paid. The free breakfast was the best we have ever had.

Lovely stay. My son could walk to get food and to the Natatorium. Bed super comfy. They have us and extra comforter so we both could be cozy. The breakfast buffet was above and beyond!!! And then evening had midday chocolate chip cookies!

I left my water bottle at the front when I checked in and when I was on my way down, the front desk agent was on her way up in a hurry to give it to me. That was sweet of her! All the staff were friendly. Breakfast was delicious.

Excellent stay, very clean! Breakfast was great each morning, and the staff was friendly. We will plan another trip to this hotel. Since rain fell almost all week, so we didn't get to see many places, but we will return during the new year.

My stay here was ok. Breakfast is ALWAYS horrible to me! The hotel definitely needs to be updated! I was charged for WiFi and I never been charged for WiFi! Like why are they charging for internet in 2024?!!!! System outdated like their hotel! 😑😒
