The breakfast was not good. They don't use real eggs. The staff try to push people out a few minutes before 9 am. The pool was for maintenance? Could not use it and that should be advertised that the pool is not open.

I booked this place for a weekend stay around the eclipse. I wanted somewhere that was a bit removed from both Dallas and Fort Worth, but which was also not more than 30 minutes from the airport. The rate seemed reasonable here. There are 4 semi-similar hotels in a line along this same road, but I didn't do a comparison beforehand. The hotel is located less than 300 yards from a large expressway. I was afraid that this would be noisy, but everyone in our room got good sleep, so it wasn't an issue. On the plus side, this proximity made it easy to head out to other destinations within the metroplex. They had plenty of parking. The hotel is adjacent to a Top Golf facility. Though the nets to catch the golf balls were quite high, I still made a point of parking on the far side of the building. The breakfast at the hotel was decent - back to regular pre-pandemic standards. The dining area is not huge, though, so come early or prepare to be flexible about eating at a coffee table. The hotel also seemed to have a bar that was open in...the afternoon through the evening? I never checked it out. This is apparently a pet-friendly hotel. We didn't see many pets, but would occasionally pass an area that had required more than the standard allotment of cleaning products. The immediate area (within a mile) around the hotel has a LOT of stores and restaurants - think of that sort of zone that surrounds a large mall, but without the mall. Great stay; we had very few complaints. A few cautionary items, though: The front parking is right outside the fence of Top Golf. There were a few balls even on top of the roof that covered the entrance, which is quite a shot but still something to keep in mind. Breakfast was a bit lackluster but servicable, and the seating would have been much nicer if there were real tables and not the low chairs / tables in the lobby. It wasn't a very kid friendly table.

Very accommodating, very friendly staff! Breakfast was always good had a lot of different options. May I suggest flavored creamer and all day coffee option :). Receiving clean towels was never a problem no matter the time day or night. Parking was fantastic, close to all amenities. Safe neighborhood, lights from top golf were never a problem. Room was always cool however it is humid here and the room was humid if a/c was not set to cold. The only complaint I had was the H O T elevator rides and H O T hallways the entire 7days we were here but other than that it was a wonderful stay. There are no laundry amenities on site if that’s important to you. Thank you!

Not sure what the issue was and my trip was fast so I did not report to the front desk. But the whole room felt moist. Carpet Floors sticky to a bare foot. Tile super slick as if wet. Even the sheets felt wet to the touch.

Checked into room, and noticed we were given a room with a big mold stain in the ceiling. Also the room smelled wet, and the floors/carpet WERE wet! They moved us to another room that was in the SAME condition! So moldy smelling that after about an hour we had to just leave because I started having breathing problems.

Room had a smell of wet carpet, hard to tell what it was. Mold on the ceiling in assuming from the A/C. The sofa bed had two stains on the cushions and side arm rest. A picture frame was missing from the wall. I took pictures and made sure to inform the front desk.

The room was very sticky and had a very weird smell. The floor was very slick as it felt like there was baby oil on the tile. The bed was very damp and the sofa was sticky and felt like it had moisture all over it. There was mold all over the AC vent and on the ceiling it’s very harmful for my young children.

Our bed linens had not been changed from the previous guest. They just remade the bed. There were hairs and dried bodily fluids on the sheets. We notified the front desk (you have to go down there, their phones dont work) and were told there was no one to change the sheets so they gave my husband a set of sheets as a solution. I went back down and told them we absolutely were not touching sheets with bodily fluids on them. They moved us to another room. Check the sheets.

Staff is lovely, hotels clean and well maintained. However on our 3rd night we noticed the air not quite working properly. We figured it was just a fluke but no, last night 4th night ac would not go bellow 73. Maintenance was unavailable, never was able to get the ac to work properly and hotel was sold out so no other rooms available.

While the staff we encountered were all very nice, I was disappointed that since my son used the sofa bed we asked for some blankets for him since it was only 29 degrees out. They gave us one very thin sheet and said that’s all they had. Our neighbors were incredibly loud and we also had no microwave. Also it would have been nice if it had a hot tub. But those were not things I thought about checking before booking.

The only thing I complain about is the room at the first floor, is too close to the parking lot. To noise it. Not sure if I’m going to be able to rest tonight. I asked for a room at the third floor but they said they were not available.

The room was spacious. Not once did i hear any noise from the hall, above, nor next to my room. I just wish the room had a microwave. Also, no matter where i plugged my phone, it took 4 hours to charge. I'd dear return though!

I got there a little early after driving there from six hours away. Was told that I could not check in until 3. So we went and had a late lunch then went back to check in at 4:30 and was told I could not check in because they gave my room away and I would either have to down grade to a different room or wait for another room to be cleaned. House keeping wasn't very helpful. We asked for extra clean face towels and was only given bath towels. When receiving the extra towels we asked the housekeeper to take the dirty towels and she just turned around and walked away. Breakfast area doesn't offer very many sitting spots so we had to sit on a sofa with our plate in our laps to eat.

The check in was terrible . The receptionist was very slow. There was a line of people to check in and she worked so slowly. When it was my turn, she assigned me a room with one bed only, and I had reserved a family room. She told me that expedía had made the reservation of that room for me. Finally, she was wrong and had to change my room. She is not prepared enough for this position.

The check-in staff was very incompetent or is running a scam on customers. They charged my card for two nights, with two deposits and random charges of $19.50, and $12. I used Expedia to prepay my reservation for a one night stay. When I call no one seems to get back to me or refund the extra charges. Very strange behavior for a hotel.

The staff wasn’t kind and their service was not nice. At the time, I realised that the cleaning service is offered only once every three days. I was staying 4nights and I asked for every day cleaning but they refused my asking.I travelled to other countries in many times but I’ve never had this kind of experience before at the hotel. I thought the service from hyatt hotel brand would be nice but it was terrible. Not impressed well. I wouldn’t go to hyatt hotel anymore.

I paid a little more for a bigger room (2 queens and a pull out) but when i arrived the front desk lady told me there was only a king and a pullout available and that they were sold out. ok, no problem, i can make that work, although that option was a little cheaper and i paid for the more expensive option. I get my whole family in the room and to sleep but at midnight i hear someone repeatedly trying to get inside my room. the only reason they couldn't is because we had all the deadbolts locked. i get up and make it known that someone is in the room so they will go away but they continue to knock. I open it enough to peek out and its a man saying he's with the front desk and my room is assigned to someone else. I tell him that my three children are asleep and I'm not waking them up. He says he'll call, so five minutes later the room phone is ringing. He wants my name, I tell him, and it seems I have the same last name as the other guest and I was given their room (which was too small for my family of five). at this point nothing can be done because it's midnight. If anything, the hotel should just refund me a little money since they kept me up past midnight from their mistake and gave me a lesser room than i paid for. it was a really busy time for the hotel--they couldn't keep up with making coffee for all the guests the next morning, which is understandable. we travel a lot and I get it, but the front desk was kind of careless with assigning rooms.

Property was clean and staff was friendly. Could’ve used a mirror with lighting in the room though. Getting ready was a little tough having to take turns using bathroom mirror and lighting. Also breakfast buffet was a little disappointing. Had some mini quiche, waffle maker, yogurt, bagels/toast and green bananas. No protein (sausage, bacon, eggs). Just looked bare in that big ole dining/kitchen area.

We had good sleep and that’s why the review is pretty good. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean. This was the highlight. The negatives were: The pool doesn’t have any shade and the breakfast is definitely lacking (which probably would make me not book here again). I know for some people the “free” breakfast isn’t a deal breaker but when I book other Hyatt, Hilton, or Holiday Inn’s, I usually get more quality food. What we experienced for 5 mornings are, powdered eggs, really watery oatmeal, cold sausage (at 6:30 am) and watery coffee. I got a premium coffee from the bar which costs $5 and it honestly wasn’t much better. All in all the experience was fine, and most of the workers made us feel welcome.

I loved my stay at the Hyatt Place. It was comfortable & clean. The breakfast was good & fresh with a variety of choices. Also, the outside area was clean & neat as well. I would love to stay again the next time I'm in Texas.
