Very basic, difficult to check in and the room was not entirely clean. The bathroom smelled terrible. I didn’t dare use any of the kitchen equipment. Staff did not respond when I questioned how to check out and have sent no information about how I will receive the deposit.

Centrally located apartment only 4 minute walk from Matthew Street. Local parking available at £20 per day. Apartment was clean and tidy on arrival. The main thing that let it down was the bed. The mattress was very lumpy and as a result, I barely slept. I would come again but would hope an upgrade on the mattresses could be done.

Room was fabulous. They do take a deposit. I think it would be more easier to have included with the hotel room when booked. Checking out was confusing, told the cleaner that our room was avaliable to clean as we were leaving

This hotel was brilliant. The room was perfect, clean, big, the bed was solid. Best sleep I've had all trip. We would definitely rent here again should we return to York.
