Perfect location. Exceptional service and beautiful room! Super comfortable. Just no spa if you’re looking for a spa experience… had a good massage but they don’t have an actual spa and the pool is small. Great for a long term stay.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The location was super convenient—just a short walk to the beach and plenty of restaurants, but since it wasn’t directly on the water, it was quieter and more relaxing. The space was a great size, and having a full kitchen was a huge plus for traveling with our toddler. I also had an amazing massage during our stay, and the Friday night fireworks from the lobby floor were a perfect way to wrap up the week. Highly recommend for a comfortable and enjoyable stay!

The swimming pool is a little bit small, and the choice of restaurants is limited. Other than these, everything was perfect. The room size is huge and every staff was very friendly. The building is relatively new.

Very beautiful and comfortable property. Great customer service. If you have a rental car it’s $55 valet parking. It’s a very short walk to the beach, restaurants and shopping. The area is safe as well.

Our suite was immaculate every day. Two balconies with a beautiful view of the ocean. It was very convenient location to the beach and also close to restaurants and shopping. The staff there was very accommodating. I would highly recommend it to anyone .

Couldn’t have been better. They treat you like royalty. They always ensured we had sufficient water bottles or restocked us, valet brought our vehicle out ahead of time, very friendly staff. Housekeeping is the real MVP for coming multiple times to check up on us and restock our waters. 10/10 stay. Will definitely be back. Thank you

They were awesome. We would stay here again. Brent at the front desk did a great job taking care of us. The rooms were very spacious and had great views. The ocean view room was amazing, but even the city view room had a partial ocean view. Housekeeping did a great job and even reorganized our items to tidy up. The dishes were not cleaned very thoroughly, but housekeeping does clean them. The staff were always very friendly and helpful. They offer beach towels at the conceirge desk and you can also get an umbrella but you have to ask. Overall it was great.

We enjoyed the friendly staff throughout our stay. The hotel staff, especially the room service staff, were impeccable. Our room was beautifully cleaned and well maintained each time we left for the day. They neatly arranged our kitchen groceries, bathroom items and perfume/cologne. We loved this hotel very much and highly recommend.

Spent weeks trying to find the perfect hotel. So so clean and comfortable! Staff were incredibly kind and accommodating. This was my first time visiting so I did a lot of research on where to stay. I couldn't find one bad review about this hotel so I took the chance. The only bad comment I found was about the pool being small but it was perfect and so peaceful. Definitely would rebook!!

Location: convenient to everywhere in Waikiki, but it gets noisy at night Food: breakfast has many choices, but I found rotten redberries and grape tomatoes more than once during our stay. Room service is slow. Give extra time for it. Swim pool is small

Overall the stay was great ! The staffing customer service was on point , they were welcoming, friendly and always smiling . The facility is a walking distance to the beach , like maybe 2 minutes walk.. Starbucks is across the street so that was great ! And kids get all the beach stuff for free included with the stay , ( floaters , sand toys , umbrellas , surf boards ) The pool area was quiet and relaxing , The kitchenette was clean and house keeping was great . The only thing is our beds were not comfortable, there seemed old or over laid , would sink in , gave me a back ache , :/ Also at the balcony it can be a little noisy with the Hawaiian native performers doing the street performances next door

Excellent hotel. We stayed 7 nights In a 2 bedroom suite. Service was top notch. Every time I called and had a request it was handled within 5-10 mins. staff extremely friendly. Nice area close to lots of shopping and restaurants. It’s a bit of a walk to Waikiki beach but there are a couple of beaches very close which are just we nice and less busy. The restaurant in the hotel lobby was top notch. We had a 10 pm flight. Usual check out is 12pm but they gave me a 6pm extended late check out free of charge which many hotels don’t do. I really appreciated that traveling with an infant. The suite itself was great. Very sizable. Kitchen well Equipped. Very very clean. Very new washer dryer and all the amenities you have in your own home. I was quite impressed with the attention to detail. The hotel is a nit dated but overall considering the service, staff, location it was one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed if.

This was a really nice property that was less than 5 minutes to the beach and shopping. The view from our room was awesome, and we appreciated the Japanese style bathrooms in the room, with soaking tub and a separate shower.

We stayed in a Grand Suite (I think that’s right. Was 2 BR/ 2 BA) because I wanted a kitchen and washer/ dryer. This place did not disappoint. Room felt like a luxury apartment. Balcony had beautiful views of the ocean. Everything for shopping/ dining is within walking distance. They supply very toiletry imaginable: q tips, cotton rounds, toothbrush and paste along with shampoo/ conditioner and body lotion, which are fabulous. I can’t comment on the spa or restaurant because we didn’t use either. The pool area is lovely as well. I would stay here again if I’m fortunate enough to come back for a visit. And if you don’t want to bring an alarm clock, the feral roosters have you covered: you’ll hear them in a neighboring park telling you it’s time to get up. They’re all over the island, so just roll with it. It’s kind of endearing in a weird, vacation-y way.

Overall, my experience at the hotel was just okay, with a few notable disappointments. Firstly, I found that the hotel's overall appearance and amenities were a bit dated. While everything was acceptable, it was clear that some updates and renovations were needed to bring the hotel up to modern standards. However, my biggest disappointment came from the lack of assistance from the bell desk when we were leaving. Despite there being several staff members present, they seemed more interested in chatting amongst themselves than helping guests. This was particularly frustrating as we had a lot of luggage and were traveling with children and seniors. One staff member even failed to stop a van that was approaching while we were walking to our own vehicle. This lack of assistance and disregard for guest safety is completely unacceptable. Despite these issues, there were some positive aspects of our stay. The cleanliness of the hotel was satisfactory, and the customer service we received at the front desk was friendly and efficient. Additionally, the location of the hotel was convenient for our needs.

The hotel is great but the services is not impressive. I paid in advance for breakfast for two. The services for breakfast were horrible. I asked for two orders of tea, I would received one. I ordered eggs omelette, I received something different or it will arrive 30 minutes later.

The one thing I am not happy is, there is no email address to request an invoice, I sent an email to the generic address shown on the website, been over weeks and no response. They really need to have a direct email that customers can use to request invoices/final bill etc, since most people just checkout.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Ka'La'i Waikiki Beach Resort. The resort boasts a lovely island and contemporary aesthetic. The resort is in a convenient location, across the street from the beach and walkable distance to restaurants and shopping. All staff (Valet, Lobby, Housekeeping, Restaurant, and Concierge) were all very friendly, accommodating and provided impeccable service. Hotel amenities satisfied all of our needs. Our hotel room was spacious and had floor to ceiling windows throughout the space, which afforded the most amazing views of the beach, trees, mountain and city night lights. Absolutely stunning! This property had everything that we needed and more! It was clean, the staff was attentive and very nice, restaurant was tasty, and I loved that we were greeted with a lemongrass & ginger infused water. It's exactly what I needed after a long flight. I would recommend this hotel while in Waikiki!

This property is perfectly located close to beach ,shopping and restaurants. The hotel is beautiful with outdoor verandas and well appointed rooms equipped with kitchenettes. Balcony rooms offer beautiful views of the beach and surrounding area. The staff is the most amazing. Everyone greets you with smiles and they bend over backward to assist with any need. I have never been treated so kindly at a hotel. The food was fresh and really well done…we had breakfasts and dinner several times on property…never a disappointment. Perfect location with a great staff and food. They do need a sundries store however. A place to get ice cream or desert wouldn’t hurt either. Very comfortable and beautiful hotel. Would gladly stay there again.
