Le Meridien Panama

The property was in a great location with a lot of things in walking distance! The staff were nice and accommodating. However, the rooms were dirty and outdated. The white robes in the room had brown stains on them and smelled like mildew. There was never enough towels in stock so we had to repeatedly request until we finally got some. No towels at the pool as well. It took a very long time before someone brought some up. Lastly, there were bugs in our room. There was a black bug in the shower when I woke that morning to take a shower. The next morning when I entered the bathroom, there was a brown bug crawling on the floor. The room was not cleaned properly. I never complain to the staff and just made the decision I would never go back there.

Pool need to be more clean but safe to children

The overall condition of the hotel was fantastic. However, during our 2 day stay, if it could go poorly, it did. Our room was never serviced, when we went up to the pool there were no towels and after an hour and 4 calls later, we went down to the lobby soaking wet to get towels. We couldn’t even have used the towels in our room since it hadn’t been cleaned. Add to the mess, our room was immediately adjacent to the exercise area on one side and a room being renovated on the other. The noise began at 4:30 in the morning and didn’t stop until 10 pm. This room should not have been let. Had we been staying any longer we would have asked to have been moved. The front desk staff was excellent. Fernando Lasso was extremely friendly and helpful.

Our stay was pleasant. Bed was very comfortable. Shower was hot. The breakfast buffet was ample and delicious. There were several weird design elements including no night lighting in the room, a glass window in the shower that felt unsafe, and a leaky shower door that "flooded" the bathroom. Also no cups for water in the fitness room.

**2-Star Review:** My stay at the hotel was quite disappointing. Upon arrival, the reception area did not provide any guidance about the hotel amenities, leaving us to discover things on our own. We had to inquire about the pool, which closes at 7 PM—way too early for guests. Once the pool was closed, the only option was to head to the restaurant for food or drinks. While I understand the need to close the pool, it would have been nice to have access to the outdoor lounge chairs for relaxation. The staff's demeanor was inconsistent; some were friendly, while others barely acknowledged us. Additionally, the phone in our room was out of order, forcing us to trek down to reception for any assistance. Towel availability was another issue; on our last night, we didn't receive any towels despite asking multiple times. Although they eventually sent some up, it was a hassle. The air conditioning also malfunctioned but was fixed after reporting it. The most unpleasant aspect of our stay was the pervasive smell of mildew in the hallways and our room. I felt uncomfortable walking on the floor without slippers due to the uneven surfaces covered by rugs. We were on the third floor, and the condition of the flooring was far from ideal. Lastly, the food was underwhelming and did not meet expectations. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this hotel and certainly wouldn't return.

Nice pool area. Wish there was a bar pool. So many dining options that were as close as 15 minutes by car. Ubers were never more than $5

Does not live up to standard... the gym is a joke, suffering swimpool etc Staff try hard but lacks basic training, coffee for breakfast is terrible. The positive side are the location, internet was fine and bed was confortable.

Didn’t like how there was roaches in the room, didn’t like how 2 small loads of laundry was almost 500 USD, other than that. It’s ok 🙂

The hotel is very clean, the service amazing. We want to thanks Odilia Batista she arranged a beautiful BBQ at swimming pool area because We invite my twins sons for they birthday as pass day. It was very incredible service and the price was really good and my guests were available to use the sauna, jacuzzi, gym and swimming pool area. Everything was spectacular. The restaurant is very good, the food is very taste and good price. The restaurant have buffet and you may order your own food. The bar area is really comfortable , peaceful, good music the bartenders are very nice and kind. The hotel is located in a very good area and Beautiful views. Me and my wife really recommend highly this hotel.

Checked in and we got to our room. Almost instantly after walking in I sensed it was off. Went to the front desk and asked for housekeeping. After waiting for 30 minutes I went back to the front desk and asked to be moved because of the blood on the pillow, especially. After closer look with the front desk staff there was dirt on the bed covers, hair in the bed itself and blood stains on pillow covers. They changed our rooms, but was disappointed. After all that we asked for more coffee and tea and were told we can only have one per day. Last time staying here - the brand Le Meridian landed flat at this location.

My son and I spent two nights at Le Meridien. It was a wonderful experience. The hotel is quiet, very clean, and our room was spacious. The breakfast was excellent and we appreciate the friendliness of all the staff. We needed a ride to the airport and the front desk clerk arranged a taxi for us. We could have also used Uber, but had him arrange a taxi which worked out well. I do speak Spanish, but most of the staff also speaks English. I will definitely stay there again.

The hotel provides with great and personalized attention to the client, from the reception to the room service. The rooms are perfectly clean Le Meridien is a fantastic hotel

Panama City was loads of fun! The bodega right down the street from this hotel is amazing. Very clean, very modern, very friendly.

Location is excellent with the staff complementing the location. Facility is clean but a bit dated.

Noisy neighbours but the hotel security handled the situation effectively. Bathroom sliding door difficult to use so had to leave it open. Shower poorly designed and caused a minor flood around the toilet. Otherwise, eveyrything was fine.

The accessible rooms had one bar in a very bad spot. The lobby restrooms had a better placed bar, no seat covers and stalls not deep enough. I expected more from a Marriott property. Starting from the positive: - great location - beautiful hotel - very spacious room with good decor (bigger than advertised) - very nice bathroom Negative: - the bed didn’t have a normal cotton sheet, but instead a plastic coated sheet that was uncomfortable when sleeping and I am sure it was not the most breathable material. I actually had to call service in the middle of the night to check if someone forgot to place the normal cotton linen sheet, and I was told this was normal

ALL THE HOTEL PERSONNELL IS TRULY COMITTED TO PROVIDE EXCELENT SERVICES TO THE GUEST . THE TRUE LEADER AND IS ALSO PROVIDINGTO THE STAFF A STRONG QUALITY CULTURE . I WILL COME BACK TO LE MERIDIAN IN MY NEXT TRIP TO PANAMA .

My stay was truly enjoyable largely due to the warm and welcoming staff you have at the front desk and working in the dining area. I would specifically like to highlight Thais, Diana, Monica and Ruth. They made recommendations for dinner, responded to my requests for service, addressed me by name and always greeted me with a smile. Several others in the dining area were very accommodating and ready to help with whatever I needed. Keep up the great teamwork!

It has a perfect position on Avda Balboa

It was a central location and it was easy to get around from that situation. Will definitely use again if I have the opportunity to be in Panama

We had a comfortable stay at the hotel for 4 nights. The hotel needs a better gym and some maintenance. The biggest downside in my opinion was the breakfast. The quality of the food was below average and not worth the money. We needed up eating outside. Staff were all very friendly.

El desayuno está incomible y la comida en general muy mala. El personal fue amable pero las fotos son engañosas ya que no muestran que las instalaciones son viejas y mediocres.
