In general, the hotel was good and had good food options. The building needs some basic maintenance in the rooms and pools. On Sunday, the hotel had an event opened to day use guests. The hotel became very growed, and the pools were dirty for overnight guests.

This hotel is in a pretty location, but quite far outside of the center of Panama City, and about 40 minutes from the airport. Fairly convenient for visiting the canal or Soberania national park, but not for anything else. Two nice pools, though the water was a bit cloudy. Beds and rooms were comfortable, with nice views over the jungle, and we really enjoyed the walking tour of the butterfly garden and frog farm. Staff was friendly. The less good stuff: food options are extremely limited. You're really stuck on site because the nearest other food is 20-25 minutes away and there are no easy taxi or uber options. Food took forever and it was challenging to even find someone to order from. Pool towels were a total pain in the neck to get. There's supposed to be someone at the pool who can get them for you, but you have to give them your ID in exchange, and we had to hunt them down every time. Also, they emailed us a few hours before were supposed to check in and told us our room had been damaged and we couldn't stay our first night. They rebooked us at the Radisson near the Panama Canal, which was fine, but it was stressful and inconvenient to have to switch hotels (it was only a 2-night stay to begin with, so we ended up with 1 night in each place). They do a lot of events, so I would avoid the place on weekends unless you want to have the pool and food options severely limited by a wedding or similar big event. That happened our second day.

The stay was nice, breakfast was good. I love the tour, pool etc. When it comes to the gym we wished it was more taken care of, we wanted the go workout but based on how it looked we decided not. Also we wanted to stay one more night but we didn’t have wifi or tv connection which lead us to decide to not stay another night.

This property is run down and needs maintenance. My Presidential Suite had old furniture, a sleeping bed that was worth less than 5 cents. No cooperation between the hotel and the restaurant or even getting towels was a hassle. Certainly not worth more than 3 stars. Restaurant has good Food but expect about 1 hour service time. Pools are decent but gym is dirty, old and ill equipped. Location is great but sad they have let it run down like this. Staff is the good thing they have.

The property is in a beautiful rainforest, surrounded by a nice golf course. I enjoyed the murals and breakfast. There is lots of parking available. However, this property needs some TLC. The balcony railings are rusted, and the paint is peeling off. We saw stains on one of our two beds, so I'm unsure if they were replaced.

We really wanted to like this property. The nature tour they provide and the forest trails are enjoyable. Pool area is alright and there are some wonderful animal murals. Building itself is in great need of maintenance. Badly rusted railings on balconies and flaking paint on exterior of building were signs of neglect. We had black mold on ceiling above our toilet from previous water leak that had never been repaired correctly. When I showed pictures of the problem to front desk upon check-out they were unimpressed and made no note to repair the issue. We really hope they do a major remodel so this can become the wonderful experience it should be.

The actual facility is lovely, the foods delicious and the staff are first rate! The grounds are also very nice ! The room was adequate, a bit dusty, only 4 hangers in the closet and had to ask for wash/face cloths. We had balcony room but could not access the balcony due to humidity???

the hotel location great! but inside the the hotel is dirty, the hallways, elevators, swimming pool areas. Our room was clean, but you can tell the maids have so much work they don't have enough time to details. No hand towels were provided on the first day, then the second day we asked and a housekeeper brought us two hand towels. We always save towels for a second use as we believe in been green. Personnel was short staffed, but they were very efficient and friendly. This hotel need improvements

Hotel seemed to be more of an event space with rooms. The deluxe room I booked had a beautiful view of the parking lot. The walls were thin and could hear people talking and the wedding party was very loud. Food was very limited in the restaurant and just ok. Restaurant staff were excellent, front desk staff was not.

Excellent location for the nature lovers. Rooms are big and most with balcony having great view outside. However, the property is a bit rundown due to the poor maintenance. We had several issues like, not getting hot water at times, ac related water leakage from the ceiling, ac making noise etc.

We loved everything about the stay except for the noise on weekends due to events with excessively loud music that continued until at least 2 am. The base and drums rattled our room on the floor above the event venue, and even using earphones with noise cancellation could not help block that out. During the week we enjoyed the resort very much. We did have a few issues with our room upon arrival (no fridge, leaking shower head, shower temperature too cool), but all those issues were corrected immediately and happily by the friendly staff. It is a shame that soundproofing can’t be added, or that the musicians or DJs at the parties being held can’t reduce the volume of the drum and base.

Wifi not working, but the staff were helpful. The room was a bit dated and room was freezing and I could not control the thermostat. They moved us to another room which they said would be warmer, but it was not. Customer service was good but property needs renovations.

Very peaceful, quiet setting during the week. Mostly empty apart from a 30 person conference. Staff were mixed, none overly happy and welcoming, some outright hostile. Carlos the bellhop was super-friendly, however. Don’t bother asking to use the shuttle service: was denied three times despite being well within 20 km range. Breakfast Buffett was very decent. Julio at the omelette station was superb! Humidity is incredibly high next to this rainforest, so expect your room floor and walls to be soaked should you leave the balcony door open more than 5 minutes. The price point during weekdays was rather low so perhaps there is transition in the near future? Despite the build date stating 2009, from my experience this could easily pass for an 80s decor.

It does need some upgrading however its a wonderful setup and a great place to stay. Beds and pillows were very comfortable! Room with a balcony is a must! Great place for kids, lots of wildlife. Don't need to be a golfer to enjoy this place.

El check in espantoso, filas, demorado, mala atención del personal. Igual en el área de piscina costaba recibir atención. La piscina un poco sucia. El desayuno realmente malo, las salchichas lo más malo que te puedas imaginar., igual las tortillas. Las toallas que te dan en la piscina son realmente horribles y de baja calidad. Staff was excellent. Always freindly and wanting to help. We will go again and probably we will stay here again. Great to be out of downtown. Check in information could have been a little better. We had to specifically ask for the code for the TV and them again for the password for the WIFI. Easy to do just unaware the need to ask for it.

we arrived two hours early and they let us store our bags while we went on a tour of the jungle. when we came back three hours later the room was still not ready and there were lines of people waiting for the rooms to be cleaned (it was 4pm now) check in was at 3pm, the woman at the desk didnt know what to do. i noticed that customers next to us were getting rooms so i switched to her line and she managed to get us a room. the people under the service of the first lady had to wait al ong time. service here was very poor. it took three people to find a drink menu. it tool a few more prople to figur out how to use our credit card to pay for drinks. it seemed like the staff were either untrained or had to aske a supervisor to allow them to serve basic items. very strange.

As a whole: The hotel is pretty and the price is good. Our room was freezing and wet which made the floors slippery and unsafe. No small table or chairs in room. Soap and toilet paper refilled. At the restaurant the service was terrible. Overall I am not sure I'd stay here again and I would not recommend to others.

The hotel is nice but the responsiveness was lacking. I requested a shuttle from the airport twice in the week before our trip but did not receive a reply. The next day we requested a shuttle to downtown for a bike tour at a certain time which never showed up. We took an Uber but were late for the tour. The hotel us nice, the food is good. It’s very remote and far from the city.

The Hotel property is in a legit rain forest - yet a 5$ to 15$ uber ride into Panama City. The care of the property is confused - as on one hand there is some refurb, but needs quite a bit more. The builders didn't stop to think which metals rust to say the least, and things are wearing...... The breakfast was good.

We stayed at this hotel during the first week of July 2024. This hotel is about a 40 minute ride from PTY airport but can be a little longer during heavy traffic. We opted to arrange transportation for the trip directly through the hotel at a minimal and worthwhile cost for the convenience. The location of this hotel is amazing. Once you get past the main entrance and get to the hotel you truly feel like you are away from it all although being only about 20 minutes from a major mall (it's gigantic) and local shops. Our group opted in for the all inclusive which was a reasonable cost for our stay and gave you access to the 3 buffet meals, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, as well as the daily snack service. The buffets had a variety of options and good service, but it's buffet food so don't expect Michelin star dining. The hotel restaurant also offers a full menu and great food at great prices. Room service was also great. The hotel and our rooms were in overall good condition, but the property is showing some of it's age. Aside from needing a little updating, the rooms were very clean and comfortable with a fridge, microwave and TV. The common areas, pools and other parts of the hotel were generally also clean, comfortable and well cared for. For us, the top feature was the location. With an amazing amount of flora and fauna right around the resort or short hike into the rainforest. Staff were all great.

An excellent hotel if you want to be away from the busy city and malls. Clean , safe and amazing if you want to connect with nature. If you are coming Panama to shop I would not recommend staying here because it’s not close to the malls and the old city, it is out of the way . 10 mins away from the Panama Canal and hotel offers free shuttle to some places. Breakfast was great and staff was friendly and rooms were great , I would definitely recommend.

The hotel room was comfortable and roomy. All the staff was friendly. We came to golf, and the golf course was great. We arrived at 12:30 pm to eat and golf, our room was ready, but they wouldn't let us check in until 3, so my wife had to change in a bathroom. Finally checked in after golf at 6 pm. Drinks were priced high compared to most places in Panama, food was ok.

It was in a pretty spot, looking out over the rainforest. And has everything you basically need. But. It wasn’t anything fantastic. Pros: - the man who gave us the golf cart safari was fantastic - kids loved the pool - beds were comfy - half the staff were incredibly nice - nice jungle trail. A sloth and some butterflies. Cons - most of the men working the bar were incredibly rude and wouldn’t even attempt to talk to you. (And we know a little bit of Spanish) - it took (legitimately) 75 minutes to get a small pizza and a bowl of curly fries at the restaurant - the door to our balcony was terrible and need to be forced open by my husband - no hot water - the more interesting pool and area surrounding was closed our entire stay - the location of food changed constantly and it was hard to figure out - claims to be a 4 star hotel but in USA standards I would say it’s more like a 2. - not allowed to see the butterflies unless you do a tour It was fine. We enjoyed our time because we always make the best of things but. I wouldn’t personally stay there again.
