Good hotel and very friendly and efficient staff. The occupancy was very low, so it all felt very quiet …. Until you stepped outside to the pool area where the construction work from the adjacent property was far from quiet! The pool area and pool /bar staff were fantastic so all in all a happy stay and I’ll come back when the building next door is in pristine condition! 😳

This is my husband and I third time staying here. Parking is convenient and less than other hotels in same area. Staff is friendly, big pool, outdoor dining is great for the view, when we stepped out I put door sign for clean room and on arrival always came back to clean room and fresh towels and toiletries, which I loved. Bar could stay open later though. They close at 5pm also beach chairs are put away at 5pm. Overall we love it and it’s always from the south beach noise!!

The property was lovely and quiet! There are some areas a bit dated along with the carpet in the room. The shower leaked under the glass door onto the floor every time. Also everything closes early due to being off season. The restaurant and Green room bar at 9pm and the pool bar and pool at 5pm. The staff is wonderful and could not do enough for us! The room was spotless every day and we throughly enjoyed our stay!

We stayed only for 1 night. We drove over from Naples with the family for a summer vacation kick-off. If we had booked for longer, we would have changed hotels. This hotel is old which we have no problem with. It's a beautiful old building. But, the carpet was smelly and dirty. The bed mattresses were saggy. There is no vanity in the bathroom to put your things. We a late lunch in the restaurant. The service was excellent. The food was good quality. They should have warned us about the construction on the building next door right next to the pool. We could not sit outside to eat or swim, it was so loud. My daughters were covering their ears. And, it's just not a relaxing experience.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The staff are so kind and helpful. The building although a tad older, is right on the beach. I like the aesthetic. The pool is also gorgeous. The area is walkable and safe. There is construction on a building next door but it did not negatively impact my stay. Highly recommend.

I liked that there was a whole beach resort at the back of the hotel. However, during my stay, I noticed that there were ants on the bed and the roof was leaking. I immediately notified the front desk, and they promptly switched my room.

Most all employees are great, but even though we could see on the website that plenty of rooms were available, they placed us in an undesirable room. In this case, we were placed in a room with air conditioning issues throughout the visit (often couldn't get below 79 degrees) with the worst balcony view of all (just above entrance). When I requested a different room, I was told by the night clerk that no other rooms were available (even though the parking lot was only 10% full). They keep the site very clean, and based on our interaction with employees, I'm sure most have a great visit.

This is an affordable older hotel in good condition in a great area with a wonderful beach, pool, and it is convenient to Bal Harbour shops and restaurants. Unfortunately, the hotel immediately south of this property is under going major reconstruction and it is very noisy. I paid extra for a room with a balcony and view. Half the view was of the city, the other half of the unfinished hotel and the construction. I asked to be moved and they said they were nearly full, although there were very few other guests. I was offered the room next door with a view of the nearly empty parking lot. The pool area is nice but forget napping, the racket from next door from 8 am on made it impossible to relax. I would definitely return after the project next door is complete.

Checked in and was told I had to pay all these extra fees. The hotel itself is definitely not a 4 star. It’s outdated and the shower wouldn’t even drain. Would not recommend staying here.

The Grand Dame of Bal Harbour! This 80 year old beauty was one of the first resorts in Bal Harbour. Nestled between The Ritz and The St. Regis,the location is perfect. My room was huge and clean. Dated of course,but I slept so well. The maids come daily and were so sweet. I ate on property and it was delicious. Excellent service and well priced. The shower was strong enough,the towels were nice,the sheets were crisp. Every staff member went above and beyond. Sea View is a rare find. I’ll be back!

I brought this to the bartender's attention, but to my surprise, he didn’t remove the other ten expired beers from the shelf. This lack of attention to detail was disappointing. This was my second stay at the Sea View and these guys really care about making sure thier customers are happy. I really like the Artdeco and the fact that the keep the rooms in good condition. Guest services/front desk are amazing. Housekeeping is amazing! Used laundry service for this visit and it was excellent! I have found my spot. Will be back again!

The Bal Harbour is the best neighborhood in Miami Beach in our opinion and the SeaView hotel has the best price/value ratio from the beach line hotels.

This lovely historic hotel is situated right on the beach with pristine white sand and a dedicated cabana beach person. The hotel has beautiful details including marble floors on the 1st floor, crown molding in the rooms etc. The staff were attentive and friendly. Well situated with ready access to Miami and Fort Lauderdale. Lovely stay!

The Sea View is a WONDERFUL hotel right on the beach and bustling Collins Ave, with a classy, retro vibe and beautiful old pictures from years past throughout. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We stayed three nights in a Bay View room, which was one of the nicest rooms we've stayed in and we travel frequently. The bed was incredibly enveloping and comfortable!! We had two delicious breakfasts in the restaurant. The pool is large and warm and there's plenty of lounge chairs. And, of course, the hotel is right on the beach and there's a great guy waiting to set up lounge chairs, towels, and umbrellas for you. First class service all the way around! There is also ample parking, though there's a charge for it. The Bal Harbour shops are right across the street and there are plenty of restaurants in walking distance. Would definitely stay at Sea View next time we're in Miami and HIGHLY recommend it!!

Bal harbor is known for its luxury & style. The hotel is in the center of this town. Beautiful waterfront evenings and wonderful upscale restaurants. Love the pool, beach, our balcony , and the staff. All lovely and a nice gem.

Everyone was so nice. It was a plus having a nice bar with piano music every night met so many nice people from all over made service was excellent. All the staff was very friendly with excellent food service. Beautiful view of the beach with great great beach and pool service. Would highly recommend to anyone to stay there. This is our second time to stay there, but have visited over the years for meals and drinks at the bar.

We enjoyed our stay at the Sea View very much. The only downside was the construction going on next door. We had a room with a balcony, but unfortunately it overlooked the construction debris- not a pretty sight. We had several meals at the restaurant by the pool, and the food and service were great.
